    Nice! Nice website as well. No wonder fishing is in your blood. Your grandfather made his living as a captain and he passed his love on to you. Good read. Also, you are lucky to have a lot of artistic talent especially from your tattoo days. Keep it up man. I subscribed and I dig the content.

    Great video. Your skills are definitely improving and i like that you dont seem to have a shop with crazy $$$ tools. Not saying youre cheap or cant afford crazy tools. I dont have expensive tools and i can still be inspired by you to try and make my own. Thanks! Going to your website now.

    Hey, those fish weren't even Gar! Nice job. The great thing about making our own lures is, you can make the lure work with whatever hooks or other materials that are readily available. Website looks great. Will check it again when you've got more info on it.

    How do yall feel about inline hooks? I've thought about it to reduce hangups and make it easier on fish. Is it really less reliable compared to treble? I find it hard to believe.

      I just recently started using them but not really enough to give a final verdict. I like the idea of them though and I have hooked up and caught fish with them so there’s that 🤷🏻‍♂️

    hey nice work you made. i make lures to from woood but the tiny one i make are working great and wiggle nice. but if i make a normal size crankbait it only makes loops and and spins. i use lips but that makes its many times worse do you know any tips

    • @TreysArt
      @TreysArt  Год назад

      Sounds like you need a ballast weight. Needs to be buoyant material with weight in the belly and make sure the lip isn’t too big. Also it could be caused from there being too much weight.

    Where do you buy your netting from?

    • @TreysArt
      @TreysArt  6 месяцев назад

      Most of the time I just find it in random places. I think the mesh I used in this video came off a piece of clothing like a dress or something.
