- Here I carve this handmade minnow lure, crafted from pine wood and fininshed with the airbrush. Created for casting into trout streams and designed for maximum swimming action, this bait is based on a white cloud mountain minnow.

*Great item. First cast out of the package caught a nice bass. Pulls smooth in the water and sets up nicely immediately upon retrieval. Worth adding to your tackle box.*

why did you use super glue before painting the lure ?
use to protect wood ? as waterproofing ?
Thanks! That’s right, the glue soaks in and waterproofs the wood in case the clear coat gets damaged.

They're called split rings, you just twist them on like a key chain ring.

I see many use an exacto knife to cut the edges instead of a sander. Why not use a sander? Afraid to take too much off?
Exactly, I can be a lot more precise with a knife.
