My memories of the place is in the 70's when i used to go for a week or two, used to love popping into the Oriental Stores along Mostyn Street, full of cameras, telescopes and other gadgets, then some years ago i returned and sadly it had all gone, another bit of history down the drain, yet still love the place, always used to stay at the Court Royal holiday flats above dunphys store at Craig-y - Don, used to love going in Bernards Art shop, such lovely memories...Mike
Absolutely love this video , Llandudno holds a very special place In my heart as generations of my family have visited this place and I continue to do so with my parents now , so beautiful and lovely xx
Great video. If you don't want to keep bumping into people then February is the right time to go, as you did. Whenever I'm stood outside a shop waiting for my wife to emerge from one I love noticing the difference in the shop buildings. The bottom half represents the present, and the top half the past. Lovely detail in those old buildings, as you've captured in this video. Nice one.
nice to see you out and about again paul filming, this is my mum and dads fav holiday town , they went every year up untill last year, great video and thanks.
Good old memories. I spent a short holiday there on my travel through Wales for several weeks. A very nice, charming, relaxing place by the sea. Loved it. I had marvelous weather.
I love Llandudno. I've been their for the last 3 years with my family. It's the one place where I can completely switch off and don't think about work.
I was a Malaysian student and attended LLandudno technical college for me A-levels back in 1979. While attending college, I stayed at Balmoral Hotel (thats what its call at that time) next to the town church. I love LLandudno, the Great Orme and its people. Hope to be getting back for a visit one day. But I haven't been in contact with any Welsh friends since then. Thanks for the video... Dew kern vow, carvey thiornod braf ! Hope I spelt that right. Cheers.
Llandudno is amazing place to visit, i went there last year and i got some great photos, which i put into a slideshow on my channel thank you for sharing this.:)
Cheers Paul, some really nice shots. Been a while since I went to Llandudno - and even then, probably only stopped by for a brief while. I'll have to have a look at the Great Orme at some point too.
Llandudno is the place I go to forget about all the problems that are going on. Either sit on the beach front or just relax at the top of the Great Orme. love it.
It's only in the last 5 years that I've got to know Llandudno a little bit, having visited and stayed a few times. I like the place very much, I like the Victorian seafront with its hotels catering to busloads of pensioners from Liverpool and Manchester all year round, I've walked the Prom and I've been up the Orme on the tram. After a long outing it was nice to go for very good fish & chips in Barnacles in the town centre and then wash that down with a few Welsh brewery ales. In 2015 TripAdvisor users voted Llandudno the 3rd best place to visit, after 1st London and 2nd Edinburgh.
+Dyflinn It is a nice place, nice to walk along the front, and down the Pier, some nice views and fresh sea air, as you say, finished off with a Fish & Chip meal, I go to the Tri-Bells chip shop, fantastic place. Thanks for watching.
Because Im a Black Country lad, we pronounce it "Lan-dud-no" so hearing your pronunciation makes me go wtf? lol Loved the intro music Paul, and I enjoyed my mini tour of Lan-dud-no too, nice one! :-)
I have just been unfortunate enough to visit the Tesco Llandudno junction store and spotted a broken bottle on the floor. When I asked to speak to a manager, the staff started being abusive and threatening. I left £35 pounds shopping at the till and will be returning only to make a complaint. The whole store was covered in plastic and cardboard boxes where staff are too lazy to put in the bin. Tesco are not protecting customers in there stores. No surprise they have financial problems.
A great town, relatively unspoilt by modern planners. My Mother was born here, but married a man from Rhyl, my Father, who brought her to thatghetto of a town that lost its character by ruinous policies by council morons. Had she met a Llandudno man, I might have spent my days here. Oh happy thought !
I would like to complain about the geology company, Robertson Petroleum Geology in North Wales. They have departments over North Wales. This video looks at the coast of Llandudno. But what will global warming to do the coastal communities in Wales and Scotland? According to Greta Thunberg, global warming, caused by the fossil fuel industry, will cause a mass extinction of animals and maybe even people. Some estimates claim mass extinction events for countless species of animals, insects, birds, plant life, and fish. It could lead to mass famines leading to massive disasters in numerous countries. Some claim even billions could die due to the effects of the fossil fuel industry. How can you support the fossil fuel industry in taking more oil out of the ground? How can you? How much more damage can the environment take. Taking oil out of the ground to add to global warming is a disaster for the environment The North Wales division of Robertson is causing global warming. What is Robertson doing to combat global warming? What are the employees in North Wales doing to make up for their affect on global warming? Would Llandudno survive sea level rises?
+tvwales.co.uk Because most days are grey and windy and often wet by the Irish Sea so it gives a realistic view of the place. If people decide to visit based on this video, and the sun happens to be out, then that's a bonus.

will ryan That sounds terrible, and dangerous, you did the right thing, as if people don't complain, nothing gets done. Great shame to hear though.

Hey Love this video was there in the week and did a video. Hope you can check it out. I have subscribed to your channel
Why film a town when its is winter and not on a nice day ???
+tvwales.co.uk I filmed the town on the day I was visiting, this Town is amazing at any time of year, and worth visiting.
+tvwales.co.uk Because most days are grey and windy and often wet by the Irish Sea so it gives a realistic view of the place. If people decide to visit based on this video, and the sun happens to be out, then that's a bonus.
Funny enough....I nearly said this in the video....lol....Lan-did-no. :-))
