Thanks so much for this video and the door handle replacement video. I have a 95 rhd hilux surf and these videos were super helpful keep up the good work
I know it’s a very slim chance that you see this, but how did you depin the connectors to reused on the new actuator? I’ve been trying to look it up but found nothing
I see and reply to all the comments I get to the besy of my ability! I honestly think I just pulled each wire (at the very base where they go into the female connector housing) out with some force to pull it out of the connector. However, since the making of this video, I now have a depining tool(from amazon) that is the proper way of doing it. I highly recommend getting a depining tool
The truth about the screws is that they are all tightened to a certain specific torque, not that you would void your warranty. If you do it yourself and brake the part, the warranty is voided on that part.

How did you remove the 2 small actuator bolts that are pointed inward? I can’t get it out by itself
there should be two rubber grommets that you will have to remove to access the small actuator bolts, hope this helps!

I don't believe theres any kind of active warranty on any of the parts on my 2nd gen 4runner but thank you for sharing!
Btw you can pop the switch out without having to take the door arm rest off
You can do that too, I took the arm rest off for the sole purpose of giving the best view of what I was doing as possible
