I went to my dealer after just buying the 4Runner, I saw another dealers video about how they can adjust the windows with the key FOB my dealer said it’s not an option. Lying sacks of poop
What are you using for the stereo, what app or device ??? Looked through your video content and didn't see a video for that or if I missed it can you reply with link?
I found many of these features could be enabled or disabled via the existing menu in the vehicle settings. Yes, there are a few unique things with this app, but I don’t care if my sunroof and windows open with the press of the button. The single best feature of the app was to disable the seatbelt chime, the light still comes on, but the annoying sound is gone.
I had a 92’ civic Si, it had an aftermarket alarm, which closed the sunroof when the key was shut-off. I have 2 cars I would like to do this. Also opening and closing all windows would also be good. Can the dealer or someone else do this?
Would love to be able to use the cameras "On-Demand", and not have them turn off if I exceed 24 mph, or shift from reverse to drive. Any camera changes available in the app? Thanks.
So, I received the little gizmo from Amazon, and after playing around with it and finally getting it to connect (kiwi3 didn't work at all, had to use a different option, no big deal) I have to admit i was a bit disappointed. It works fine, no problems with functionality, but honestly, out of all the possible changes that you can make, I found only two to be worth changing. Opening the windows with a long push on the remote is a nice option, so I activated that function. Unfortunately, you can't close the windows the same way. You have to use the switches in the vehicle to close the windows after you've opened them all. Not a big deal, but worth noting. The only other change that I felt was worth making was to deactivate the automatic door unlock when the vehicle is put in park. I prefer to unlock the doors when I want them to unlock, and that's for safety reasons. If I'm in a bad area of town for some reason, or there's someone hanging in the area that I just arrived at, and they trigger my Spidey-sense, so to speak, I don't want my doors to unlock until I deem it safe for them to be unlocked, know what I mean? So, I have it set to unlock the doors when I open the driver-side door, or I use the unlock switch on the door itself. Aside from that, I really didn't see anything I felt was worth changing. Now, of course, that's just what works for me, I don't in anyway assume what someone else might prefer. So, there it is, two changes made in a total of about 10 minutes of connecting and looking at the options and making the two changes I decided on. I canceled my trial and that's pretty much the end of it. Sort of anticlimactical if you ask me. Is it worth the money to buy one of these gizmos? Ehhh, that's one of those "six of one, half a dozen of the other" issues. If you feel spending $30 and change to make a couple of changes in function to your vehicle is worth it, then it's worth it, right? Peace to you, and thanks again for your videos, I really enjoy them.
Keep your obd2 sensor handy. They are great to have if you or a friend come across an unexplainable check engine light. I have the blue driver obd2 sensor and it saved my grandmother money by telling her exactly what was wrong with her car. We found that it was a simple sensor we could replace in the driveway. Never had to take it to a shop. It’s paid for itself already.

My 2021 Toyota 4runner SR5 Premium on an up hill slope constantly shifts up and down Ive talked to the dealership they said there is no problem know. I know there is a problem.
I going to ask the dealer to program the windows & sunroof to open with the key fob
I was told it would cost $175 but they would do it for $100...
@@jessicariley9714I hope you told them where to go after that.
@@markl1473 I was told it would cost $174 but they would do it for $99
Is there a free version?
Piratebay
It’s one thing if you have to pay for the app to use it but it’s another think if you have to pay for the app EACH YEAR (if you don’t use the free trial and then cancel). Quite greedy on the part of the app designer
as your 4runner has google and netflix
for 5th gen can this allow to use camera at any fucking speed. The most annoying thing of the 4runner! No camera on at all times
What?! You have to pay a subscription to use unlocked functions? The 4runner, It's my property.
It’s not Toyota charging, it’s the app. Some other apps might have free features.
So, it only works if you pay and only for the amount of time subscribed to? BOGUS!
Are they not offering a free trial period anymore? In the video I gave specific instructions on how to make the changes for free using the trial
@@T4Rgarage when your subscription is over do you get to keep your mods? And I'm guessing you only get 1 free trial so there's no going back
@@PB-jk8bl Yes you keep the modifications. If you want to change them then you would need to pay for a month I believe. You can go on their website and see all the different mods you can do for each vehicle.
You should blur out the VIN number
😂😂not paying someone to turn my frigging windows down
You cancel the subscription but the codes stay programmed in the computer. You aren’t paying for anything.
Anyone else try this on SR5?
Yes. Works well for a lot of features, but remote start is not possible on my 2018 SR5.
