    Hey Man,
I have a Mechanical Engineering degree from abroad (can be accredited) and MS in Sustainable Energy from the US. I am currently working in Solar in the US and want to get a structural PE.
I have the following experience after my bachelor's.
    Abroad:
    Hydropower Structural Design (1.5 yrs-Industry)
    US:
    1. Solar Electrical Design ( 2yrs-University)
    2. Solar Electrical/Structural (1.5 yrs- Industry)
I want to take the exams but I don't have a PE reference.
I know I have to take the FE exam but want to make sure I will be eligible to take the PE exam in the future.
I don't have a preference for a location so what state would you suggest to get the PE license as soon as possible

Good info! But how can I transfer my PE passed result to another state?

Will my PhD experience counted towards the work experience for civil engineering? If yes which state, thanks for video.

Your PHD - if it's in the field that you're applying for - counts for 2 years of experience, no questions asked (lucky you).

I have a question if I have the EIT certification in X state and then I want to take the PE early so I have to enroll it with a Y board. What’s the process in between? Do I need to get a EIT certification in the state I want to take the test?

    Tha k you for vid.
I think you missed NJ state. It's decoupled, now.
Also, ID state has a residency requirement, last I checked. So nor so simple with ID.
