Mount Tamborine - Cedar Creek Falls & Curtis Falls, Gold Coast Hinterland

- Hi Everyone and welcome to this weeks addition on a day trip to Cedar Creek Falls and Curtis Falls. Both waterfalls are available on the Mount Tamborine section of the Gold Coast Hinterland.
There are many waterfalls available in this area but I wanted to show you different ones that are not allowed for swimming and one that is. These are both great trails walking through the National park and a nice way to beat the summer heat.

Curtis falls was so pretty! Not just the waterfall itself but the actual hike to get there! It looks so green and lush and just beautiful!! The sound of the cicadas is insane! I had a cricket outside my window the other day and I thought that was loud… not even close!
This was the loudest I've ever heard it like this... so hynotising for sure.
We liked cedar creek better... only for the swimming aspect ...but incredibly crowded.

Hey guys...thanks for stopping by and glad you enjoyed it. Cedar creek is Definately a great waterfall to visit and at least the crowds number will be low at the moment with the cooler waters... hope you enjoy it 👍😁
@@AquariusTraveller Haha yeah, worried it will be too cool at this moment and that we have to wait a bit. We're not that great with cold temperatures (in the air and in the water)!
It's fast moving water and very refreshing in the summer.... so expecting it will be too cold for me now...lol.
Cedar Creek Falls is one I haven't done yet. I might wait until winter and hope for fewer people, though!
Yeah ...definatly crowded and would need to opt for another time...but nice cool off for the swim.
