Cuphead is one of those rare instances for an IP (in my opinion) that no matter what delays come afoot to it, the delay is well, WELL worth the wait.

I gotta kick out of the drummer. He was in such awe of the singers. Then when it was his time, he was really into it and at the end when the curtain falls he does this cute pose. It was hilarious! I loved it. The Game Awards as a whole was fantastic!

Man, watching the Game Awards with my friends, seeing that "asbestos" curtain, going "wait, it's like that one battle from Cuphead!" and getting to see this beautiful performance followed by a trailer with date is a memory that will never leave me
The way they actually had them dress as flappers from that era I just absolutely love this game studio!! They've never really "shelled out" on Cuphead, but rather they've just kept doing amazing things that still have that same passion and drive behind them as when they originally made the base game. Augh it's just so amazing!!
It wasn’t that much content tho. We waited 4 years and it takes like 30 minutes to complete. Didn’t even have any run and gun or even boss rush. There’s so much potential and now the game is dead
As soon as I saw the asbestos curtain I screamed in joy because I knew it had to be Cuphead, I'm so happy that we already have a date for the new dlc, I can't wait to play it.
They actually sound like they were plucked from the 20s even when I listen to the insanely talented people who try to do this style they always sound like they’re trying to emulate the style, but with out actually doing it this is the first time I’ve heard it where it sounds like they were plucked right out the 20s.
I can't help it, but a few of these shots look suspiciously out of sync (lips, trombones, drums, celesta). At the same time, the entire performance sounds ridiculously flawless, permanent perfect intonation, impacable rhythmic precision and literally zero sound anomalies, despite singers hopping up and down and side to side in front of their mics... in other words this was studio quality. So, umm... was this playback? :-\
I cried watching this. I was thinking about the game recently and just came to the conclusion they might never release the DLC after the pandemic but I'm so happy they came back

It’s kinda insane that we get these performances, Like the ones that would be performed in the roaring 20’s. In the first time in years through a video game, rather than people who dedicate their life’s to music and wanted to do a tribute for those performances. Bravo cup head.
I loved this entire performance, but I just wanted to really compliment the outfits. They fit the ladies so well, and match with the time period which the game is trying to replicate. I loved the details they put on the dress and the feather crown, it's all such a nice touch to really bring this performance to life!

I like how they are using this style of animation which in the time that Cuphead takes place in, this type of animation wouldn't be used until 25 to 30 years from now. They are essentially using an animation style from "the future"
I screamed so loud during this I barely heard any of the performance and trailer. I was so excited to see more on this project I've been waiting for for the past 4 years, and to see it finally come out in just a few short months is just fantastic.

Just a fun fact, asbestos is a fireproof material used in curtains. Fun little detail they added for cupheads finger blasts.
Seeing the curtain aslo gave me that reaction and the moment I saw cuphead and mugman on the drum set I lost it, I got so hype
