    Had this job done at my dealership. $4k later. Good for you knowing how to do this man. I wish I could too. Could have saved me the 4k. But man these 1.5’s are trouble.

      Yes it did work and still on the road as we speak just came in for an oil change last week can’t go wrong when using OEM FITMENT🫡

      @@moesautoclinic6368 what parts for necessary for just the head gasket was it just the head gasket itself as well as the head bolts? Or was there anything else?

      @obxguy1 we used all OEM parts from timing all the way to the head gasket everything and everything removed like seal and gasket was replaced

    Was cheaper to replace the car then get head gasket replaced the dealer wants 5400 everyone else is over 6k to fix

      No, it’s not cheap to replace the engine but luckily for this customer he had an extended warranty so all he had to pay was a deductible, but it is a very expensive job, especially nowadays with prices gone up

    What caused it to go out you think?

      It’s a common problem with Honda now days I believe and that’s only my opinion. The head gasket is too thin. That’s why they have lots head gasket problem and they have turbo on there as well which make it worse for a small engine. Is only 1.5L

      Put ARP head bolts in

      @tcann1223 we just went back with all original Honda OEM parts in the head bolts. Thanks for the advice. I’ll keep that in mind.
