Nice! I know the feeling! I'm addicted to dichro... Let me send you a little box of scrap to play with. Messages me your address thru my website and I will ship u some.. no worries I love to give when I can 🙂 please. ~B
This is so cool! I don’t know much about glass and firing but I have a question. If I have a design that I’ve made and I want to turn it into a mold that can withhold the glass temp, how would I do that. Hope that made sense! Thanks 😊
Awesome ! Hi 👋 Thailand 💚 🌏 I wanna visit your beautiful country soon The schedule in the video should be good no problem plenty of annealing time on it
Hay Linda. Hold longer for bigger pots but Medallion size 90 min @ 1600f ... 6in galaxy more like 2.5 hr hold @ 1600f so I do my schedule: 300 ~1600f ~ 1.5 hr 9999 ~ 990 ~ 1 hr 100 ~ 750 ~ 30min
This just today pooped up. Glad it did as I must have missed it when it was first released. Love your dicro rounds! Looks like you put your dams directly on a treated shelf? Speaking of dams were they treated and are they mainly posts? I've heard to use the Italian made pots because the glass won't stick to the pots resulting in a clean flow. Your disc's are beautiful and this doesn't look like you had any issues. Lastly, your schedule has only one segment? Would you recap that for me, please? Thank you for sharing!!
Those damns were just in case .. they never touched glass but ya kiln wash just in case. Any pot will do so far I haven't hade any pot issues from cheaper pots!! .. on the temps .annealing same as any glass piece that size. My kiln 300.. 1600. 2hr 9999...990..1hr 150.. 700..30min..
Hello there Mimi nice! Love to see how it turns out. Schedules flexible but I do.. 300 to 1600f hold 2 hr. 9999 to 990f hold 1hr 100 to 700f hold 30min. 🙂

Radical! Yes fire it up 🌞
That black one is my 😍 fav
Ya it's on my stove as a spoon holder
I’m actually amazed those little pots held up! I have some I bought for putting mini succulents in… might have to try this.
Try it 😁
This is so cool.

Amazing work
These are awesome ❤
Excellent
I have been trying to think of something to do with all my dichro scrap. thank you.
Really cool. Wish I had that much dichroic scrap. Teaching residents at a retirement home and spend my life looking to buy dichroic scrap. LOL

You ship only within the US? @@speedoflightglass
😯😍😍🔥🔥🖤🖤 i want these but as pendants 😭
Awesomeness
Sooo amazing
It only works like that on dichroic glass?
These are stunning, thank you for the inspiration ☮
Thank you, I've been meaning to try this, have mini clay pots already. But doesn't some of the dichro burn out at 1600 degrees?
Grest outcome. Do I see kiln paper underneath? I was taught to use kiln washed shelves as the paper would tear. Or is it okay for small melts?
Try it both ways for your taste
Paper holds up good
I love.

Ya, Thank you that was a nice batch.. they make good earrings.... and use in mosaic!!
Hi. Great idea. What’s the fusin schedule.
Hay Linda. Hold longer for bigger pots but Medallion size 90 min @ 1600f ...
6in galaxy more like 2.5 hr hold @ 1600f so I do my schedule:
300 ~1600f ~ 1.5 hr
9999 ~ 990 ~ 1 hr
100 ~ 750 ~ 30min
Hi, would you mind telling me what kind of KILN that was? thanks
Skutt. Kiln. Clamshell
Awesome!
To Kool
That’s a very interesting idea. Do You fused them separately according to size of the pot?
You could do them all together just hold longer. Small ones will be fine

@@speedoflightglass thanks so much
I'd hate to waste the bit left in the pots! I'm so cheap!!
I hear u.. I look at it as part of making unique originals . We can learn lots about ourselves thru our creativity 🙏💚
You use that part for the next melt. Either stay with color selection or plan darkest to lightest sequence.
