Intelligence Report:
"The Cold War began in October 2139 with coordinated PAC invasions from the Persian Gulf to the Baltic Sea. In November, as part of Operation Canute, three battalions led by General Arkadi Petrov entered Minsk, a key EU command center in Northern Europe. The EU's Krieg Panzer 2nd Regiment fiercely defended the city for over four months until the PAC's elite Central Command Group broke through their southern flank, forcing them to withdraw. The Battle of Minsk featured the first frontline use of the militarized Titan, forever altering the character of modern warfare."
Titan Intelligence Report:
"The Battle of Minsk featured the first employment of the militarized Titan in combat operations, changing the nature of modern warfare forever. Because of the Titans unmatched effectiveness as both a transport and assault medium, its destruction became a crucial component of military strategy. At Minsk alone, six full-scale Titans were destroyed within the first week of combat." - Приколы
I miss this game so much.

QuickLode 8=======>
you still can play multiplayer with Gameranger.. and i heard they already revived bf2, now they are doing so for 2142.
try battlelog.co
dhkdeoen bruh.
when I quit 2142 back in like 2013, there were only like 1000 players on..
Lul.
No fighting commanders or BAN
+Gypsy_on_Drugs and still I faught side by side with my soldiers!
+Gypsy_on_Drugs Admins can't even make that on BF4 today :( BF4 is pathetic compared to 2/2142.
Rex Lat
n players no more need coomanders, dont even pay attention to Ammo needed and Medic!
+PSXnigma Back when commanders where a part of the awesome game. A good commander could reverse the tide.
Nostalgia as fuck ;(
To think, DICE went out of their way to make such epic music for the LOADING SCREENS and give each map its own unique theme, just to give us the best experience possible. That's just incredible.
This is morale in musical form. I love how it’s a reprise of the menu music, which is also fantastic.
If that part at 1:15 doesn't motivate you, nothing will.
"Loading complete. Verifying client data..."
"Join Game button appears"
Nah, I think I'll wait a bit :-)
The chaos....
...The fear....
....We had no choice.....
...The battle for Earth had begun.
BATTLEFIELD 2142
>Solo trumpet at the end
EVERYTIME.
+Private .Tomonor The brass during the whole theme is remarkable
Still waiting for 2143 :°(
BF4 has a new expansion/dlc thingy that's like in 2020
QuickLode reported
lol
still.
Next battlefield will be 1944. So after that we will get Vietnam 2, then Battlefield 5 and then 2143. Probalby
One of the reasons i find this game so memorable is due to the music. It's so unique and it always reminds me of how epic the game was.
My favourite music in BF2142
Minsk - Epic. The solo trumpet at last is brilliant.
Verdun - A very steady and progressive music, and the tension between both factions can be feeled.
Belgrade - Also a nice piece. The beginning gives you a feeling of being surrounded.
Sidi Powerplant dude
Personally, I like the extra touch that is each map having it's own soundtrack rather than putting a generic faction-based music for each and every map.
Minsk, Verdun, Remagen, Bavaria and Leipzig ftw, oh and Suez and Cerbere.
This is fast-paced version (Minsk Theme) from Battlefield 2142 Titan Tutorial video.
Yep
+Dylan Lony Everytime that I remember that video and want to hear the background music I come here
This piece is a reprise of the fantastic menu music.
Always turned my speakers to 100% while waiting for the shaders optimization :D
TOTALY WORTH IT!
Epic trenches war in this map
Such epic music. I've never witnessed such in any game since.
am i the only one person still looking for those musics even after the entire game community is dead
trust me u r not alone
the community is not dead
here: discord.gg/uADE6SQ
I remember that in the storyline, Minsk was one of the first battles, or the first major battle in the war... therefore this music is .. beautiful.. the way it transmits the beginning of a war for survival of manking between to titanic factions, and then the change in the music to that epic and violent one.. meaning the long years of war, uncertainty and suffering that will be coming with the fall of Europe, the last stand of the EU in Africa, and the counter attack in Northen Strike.
most underrated game music i have ever heard
This was back when DICE was genuine about their games, before Call of Duty became the thing to copy. You can tell BF2 and B2142 had a lot of effort put in to them in terms of uniqueness, BF3 feels like CoD on a bigger map.
I know this comment is old, but you're so right. You could feel the passion they pumped into every game they made, and that they genuinely loved what they were doing. I haven't gotten the same vibe from Battlefield ever since. Today it feels like an "assembly line" product that looks pretty and plays well, but has no soul.
all new battlefields now feel like cod but with bigger maps
and with vehicles
I'm glad to know that we Battlefield fans have acted the exact same way with every installment since the dawn of the franchise.
@@renaultft1917 While I wouldn't call it copying CoD, Battlefield has objectively become more run-and-gun with each new game. The first two battlefields didn't even have sprint, then we got sprint with limited stamina, so you at least had to be somewhat strategic with your sprinting. Now there's unlimited sprint and sliding. How the gunplay worked in those early games also promoted less "sprinty" gameplay.
I think it's been heavily detrimental to the series as I personally believe squad play and thus gameplay has a whole as suffered from it. Back in BF2 and BF2142, squads stuck together much more, and fighting was more static and deliberate with generous use of cover and med and ammo crates. While I do think the newer BFs can be fun, they don't have the same feel that they used to have (and no this isn't nostalgia glasses. I played BF2 and 2142 again with the Revive project before it was killed by EA, and it played as exactly as I remembered.)
tl;dr: While "copying CoD" is an exaggeration, there's definitely some truth to what they're feeling.
@@renaultft1917 Nah just since Bad Company
The Grand Tour - Lochdown! They used this again lol
Brought me here too
Simply love the music for the maps. Quite a unique thing to hear during the loading screen, it created a certain feel before the match even started, and to be of something of this quality and was special for each map is just amazing.
I remember, that when I played this game with my old computer that took like 5 mins to load a map, I delibretly selected this map just to listen this map theme in full-lenght! :D
your not the only one who would give anything to play these iconic games again.I trully wish to play them again and I will doubt that I will ever throw out the games.NEVER!Long live old school battlefield!
That driving drum line makes this 10x more awesome!
Two steps from hell before it was cool!
Thank you very very very much
PAC Anthem
my favourite map, favourite theme
You can still play this game, just type 2142 Reclamation. All you have to do is download BF2142 HUB
then EA would brought it down just like 2142 battlelog hahaha
@@acutespike9260 battlelog got taken down because it offered the game download aswell, Reclamation does not.
However if you ask on their discord server someone will DM you a copy.
The best of all Battlefield soundtracks.
epic titan map...the pure walker/tank carnage here is awesome man!
those were the days...
Oh thanks for that. He had me completely baffled. I thought he could see some kind of optical illusion in the map. I was squinting hard for a good 5 minutes. ;)
Battlefield 2142-Best soundtrack out of the Battlefield series
Very smooth and exciting theme
13 years and still no battlefield 2143
16 now
@@thebiggestnoob999 damn…
@@thebiggestnoob999its better that way, trust me. EA would just destroy what we grew to love, like they did with all games post 2010
Still play this reguraly played 2000 hours and counting
@Onyxvangaurd Battlefield in the past was mostly known for kickass multilayer. DICE has a little trouble making up singleplayer campaigns so they replaced this aspect with sandbox matches where you could do whatever.
When loading times were so long that they could add music... make it so again😫
I think this is the best ost of battlefield
I have not played since '06, but this game still owns!
Legend says about 1,000 trolls came here just to dislike the video to ruin it's reputation but they didn't pause the video and the music was making them realize that this music is too good to dislike and then they died from the epicness of it.
This reminds me more about the tutorial than the the Minsk map itself.
Oh my this game; certainly one of the best games out there to this day. I do recall fond memories flying over this map in my transport only to drop out utilizing my P33 Pereira Pistol like no other. They need to make Battlefield 2143 xD
i cant even get battlefield 2 to work on my computer.now this,THIS amazing game is a work of art.
Damn, I miss that game so much.
@Madnessman your ping is your "distance" or the time it takes for information to send and be received by the other computer, so it also helps to pick a server that is close to you, preferably in your country to lower ping
the first time i heard it back then when it was first release it made me felt very snowy like, battle
Best epic music I 've ever heard!!!!
I remember on HK server snipe only server this was my favorite map, EU had all the bunkers across the 16 player map and the PAC had the trees and destroyed walkers and tanks and the hills. Good times
This is the best Battlefield game!
Best battlefield game
Goose bumps
Well I think that "overthinking" the feeling of a music is the way to truly appreciate it. Beside, I love the setting of the story, and my imagination does the rest..
i liked this game because it was a cool look in the future
Minsk really shrinks over the next 126 years.
Well, there is artwork of Minsk and you can see footage of city in reveal trailer. Obviously devs at time could not make whole city. This is supposed to be small part of it.
one word EPICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC!
well the terrain does look rather chilly
Man this takes me back, so much so I think I'll see if the guys can load Minsk tomorrow when we play 2142... I wish more were willing to hop back on this awesome game, it is not totally dead yet, thanks to a few of us die hard fans that refuse to let go... Message me if you want to know how to play in 2020
has anyone besides me noticed that this is the music that plays in the titan training video, only the video has a lower and slower version?
Rest in PeACe sweet prince.
Waiting for 2143 here.
Nice theme, my favourite
my fav 2142 song
It was kickass because you could have large naval battles with clouds of planes dog fighting over head while tanks and APCs bombard small villages where infantry battle for each hut.
ASDFGFGFDS I keep adding all my favorites to watch later! This video does NOT deserve to be on watch later.
@kriszium Tanks are faster even backwards than walkers can sprint forward.
Counter to your tactic - backing up while firing at the walker when it stops.
Gauss cannons manned by teammates are a plus (2 shots inbetween legs - dead walker).
@m4dn3ss999 Holy crap! I never even expected it to get there.
R.I.P. 2142 D:
For the EU!
Usually the amount of lag you get depends on your ping. In other words, you need a good internet connection for minimal lag.
Lambert shoots some compressed ammo, according to the description. Dunno about the pac weps.
best battlefield right here!
@kriszium I think tank standing over walker remains. Because it's rare to win a close range fight as a tank vs a walker.
Long range, no prob, but close... pray.
ending of this song rapes any other music I have ever heard in any game.
PEKHOTA PROTIVNIKA PEKHOTA PROTIVNIKA PEKHOTA PROTIVNIKA PEKHOTA PROTIVNIKA
yeah, it's cool!
i wish that the northern strike maps also had their own music
/Agree only reason I stopped was my character was hacked, had fun while it lasted though.
@kriszium In my experience walker rockets go upwards for some unknown reason... might be demo-only (never played full).
Also, how unguided slower rockets can hit a faster moving vehicle easier than a faster unguided shell hitting a slower vehicle?
1:38 star wars vibes.
The best map with a épic sound at 1:50
Maybe 2142 wasn't that awesome that I've expected but it was still epic !
Avery649
See you on the battlefield!
Taking the last EU flag on the top of that hill in 32 player mode was always so goddamn epic.
0 dislikes.
Now that's something you dont see on youtube much
0:33 *Promoted to Titan Commander then leads the forces into battle*
Krinkov AR was best. This game was underrated.. it was really great with a lot of innovations and unique gameplay elements.I mean come on. APCs that actually carry people and have escape pods to launch them far ? Mecha walkers ? TITAN ships ?! now the APCs in bf3-4 are just mini tanks better against infantry. Nobody wants to ride passenger
Still working with a few servers! Currently joining Deathklok server as I type this!
I think it is, but I'm not entirely sure. What I am sure of is that it's a projectile-firing weapon, so it's not plasma.
@PSNMarksmanSniper same here lol. I think the next battlefield will be a WW2 one, since no ww2 title is currently hot on the market, except red orchestra. Then, I can expect a future one.
After battlefield 3 i hope they creating like battlefield 2130 or somthing like that. Imagine high graphic on 2142= AWSOME
Hey can someone tell me where the intelligence report is located?
I need to find the file it's in but I cant find it at all.
Oh nice. What username do you use on there? I just started playing again.
@BioClone believe me that would be the game i will buy twice
@sultankraver Really? Is it really worth buying it now?I lost my disc and I feel like buying it again but 100 servers is too little
Funny that the guy who made this music also made the Spongebob theme tune.
No really... I promise I’m not kidding.
woa this reminds me of fallout 3
@Suren0 YAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there should be one tho; a huge anti tank ray ran by tons of batteries on a backpack
me too, yea it's slowed down
ues turrcote rapid reminds me mp10, voss - m4, zeller - .50 cal sniper rifle.
