I could be wrong, but I think I figured “out” that you’re Canadians. 😅

This would have been an all time fav for me, but the end game scoring makes it one I think is ok. I understand the reasoning behind the scoring, but makes half of your game meaningless. It also forces you to play the same way each time because you need to go for beer and bread equally. I don’t see an advantage if someone focused on one over the other, so I don’t see why this was done. We house rule to score everything and it’s much better. But as is, the game trips over itself when it comes to scoring.

Hmmm. I could see that. I think the goal is optimizing your order fulfillment route such that you fill an even amount, and then trying to optimize how many you fill. That's a fair perspective though!

I personally like the aspect of the scoring at the end because the game forces you to do both things at once.
One cannot merely bake bread. One must brew beer and that is how the world should be. Carbs. Delicious carbs.
I find it also balances the game out and reduces the chances of one player having a massive lead on the other but the player who played better usually wins by a decent but not massive margin. It makes you play the whole game and make more decisions to keep production going.
      Just my two cents though.

@@White1148 Totally valid! It's unique in that way and can see the appeal. I'm just not a fan of games forcing me to play a certain way. Especially when it's the only way to play. I like when I can try different strategies and paths to victory. This game give you one and only one way. Ah well! Still enjoyable to play.
