Not to say I don’t believe in them, but without experiencing the situation myself I’m inclined to consider all the known possible causes for that event before acknowledging it could’ve truly been ghostly/supernatural.
He remains me of people who acted like they were ordering a pizza when really they had called 911 for help and only answers that you would use for a pizza. Another story I listened to was of a woman 'pretending' to call her sister when really she called 911 and used yes or no answers to get help cause the guy she was with had kidnapped her.
After hearing that #4 story, I looked up anything on ambushes, and it turns out our marine friend here barely escaped a boogaloo ambush. They most likely would’ve killed him for being military, but the ambushes are commonly set up to kill law enforcement officers.
Likely cause this happened to me and my dad when we went on a trip, we see this guy laying on the road and my dad starts honking his horn then told me to cover my ears and begins to speed up and ran over the guy and soon we see a bunch of people coming from both sides of the bushes

I've traveled the Amboy road mentioned in story #4. I must say, hats off to the Marine for being able to maneuver his car around the dead (playing) bodies and the car because that road doesn't have any shoulder. the little bit of shoulder that road does have is made of super smooth sand that has caused numerous vehicles to get stuck or simply overturn since drivers aren't careful. they let the car weave slightly out of lane and it's game over. That's how dangerous that road's non-existent shoulder is.

@@geechyguy3441 sorry just saw this. So the amboy road ends after you cross the chloride mine flats (this is about 10 miles prior to hitting 1-40). If you search “Bristol Lake” that’s where the chloride mine is. The lake is just a dry bed now. If you zoom in and follow the bit road about half a mile up, you’ll hit the intersection of famous Route 66 and Amboy road. Make a right, and 10 miles up the I’ll be I-40.

14:20 I'm almost positive that what they heard was a fox screaming. To somebody who hasn't heard it before, it is very high pitched and sounds like something in-between an unearthly banshee and a female human being murdered alive (no joke). Varies from short shrieks to more extended screams, and they often do it while on the move (especially during the mating season). That sounds closer to the description than the sound clip used in this video. In my nearly 30 years of life I hadn't heard a fox screaming (rare even in less populated areas) until one night last year, when one ran through my neighborhood yelling its head off. I legitimately thought that either a) a woman was being chased through my neighborhood by a murderer, or b) we were being invaded by ringwraiths. And guess what? My initial reaction was to run for my firearm like the men in the story 🤣. I felt silly after finally determining what the noise was.

This was in the middle of the night, there weren't even any dogs out in the yards of the neighborhood. If it was a fox in the story, it was far enough away to still be preoccupied with whatever it was calling to/for, not some humans that didn't pose any immediate threat.

The screaming one makes me think mountain lion. It probably wasn’t, because when you are in that kind of situation your ideas/instincts/fears are usually right. It makes me think mountain lions because of something that happened with me. My daughter was conceived by a mountain lion den. When we were done we heard what sounded like a mans blood curtailing screams. Turned out to be a mountain lion who had been watching us. We were really lucky it didn’t attack, especially with us right at the entrance to its cave.

Number 3 sounds like a Great Horned Owl. They make the typical "whoo whoo" sounds but they also can make a high pitch human like scream that sounds like something much bigger. It can explain how the screaming ended up on their side of the river with ease. I also had a similar experience in the woods with an Great Horned Owl that briefly stalked me and my dog while making that creepy scream high up in the trees. It got spooked and flew away after I shined a flashlight up in the trees and saw exactly what it was. If I hadn't seen the Owl myself would probably be claiming I encountered the Jersey Devil since this happened in the New Jersey Pine Barrens 😅
Some claims have said it could have been a Cougar, a popular comment on this video even said it could be a Vixen in the heat, but it could’ve been a Mountain Lion too. A Mountain Lion’s screams fit the description of “A wild person with no language skills, being gutted alive”. Just look up Mountain Lion Terrifying Scream and there’s hundreds of videos.
@@seaI. Moutain Lions aren't fond of swimming. Yes they can swim but are not quiet or graceful to the point of not being silent crossing a river. I know my Great Horned Owl story seems a bit of a stretch but if I didn't see it with my own flashlight I would of thought it was 600 pound creature by the deepness and power in the way this Bird screamed.

I know lions can swim despite people thinking they can't but as i mentioned if I hadn't seen this particular horned owl I would of thought it was a 500 pound creature by by its deep tone and volume.

Which road is it? I can only see one road between Amboy and the I-40 and it doesn't directly go through any mountains, although it is two-lane.

14:20 I'm almost positive that what they heard was a fox screaming. To somebody who hasn't heard it before, it is very high pitched and sounds like something in-between an unearthly banshee and a female human being murdered alive (no joke). Varies from short shrieks to more extended screams, and they often do it while on the move (especially during the mating season). That sounds closer to the description than the sound clip used in this video.
In my nearly 30 years of life I hadn't heard a fox screaming (rare even in less populated areas) until one night last year, when one ran through my neighborhood yelling its head off. I legitimately thought that either a) a woman was being chased through my neighborhood by a murderer, or b) we were being invaded by ringwraiths. And guess what? My initial reaction was to run for my firearm like the men in the story 🤣. I felt silly after finally determining what the noise was.
Ouhhh i haven't thought of this. My first thought was some stupid kids were fucking around with them and scaring them but now if I think about it that fox makes absolute sense. Plus the sound travelling so quickly could've been it (the fox) running around as you said 'screaming it's head off'

@@AkiraKurusu-hm4vs This fox wasn't anywhere near people at the time (at least as far as its own perception goes). This was in the middle of the night, there weren't even any dogs out in the yards of the neighborhood.
If it was a fox in the story, it was far enough away to still be preoccupied with whatever it was calling to/for, not some humans that didn't pose any immediate threat.

The same set up with 2 people laying face down in the road with an open suitcase and around the area it's little known legend that that cannibals live on the backside of the mountain.

The screaming one makes me think mountain lion. It probably wasn’t, because when you are in that kind of situation your ideas/instincts/fears are usually right.
It makes me think mountain lions because of something that happened with me. My daughter was conceived by a mountain lion den. When we were done we heard what sounded like a mans blood curtailing screams. Turned out to be a mountain lion who had been watching us. We were really lucky it didn’t attack, especially with us right at the entrance to its cave.
Was pretty much asleep listening to this and that scream from the #3 story made me jump so hard, I honestly felt like I jumped out of my skin

Number 3 sounds like a Great Horned Owl. They make the typical "whoo whoo" sounds but they also can make a high pitch human like scream that sounds like something much bigger. It can explain how the screaming ended up on their side of the river with ease. I also had a similar experience in the woods with an Great Horned Owl that briefly stalked me and my dog while making that creepy scream high up in the trees. It got spooked and flew away after I shined a flashlight up in the trees and saw exactly what it was. If I hadn't seen the Owl myself would probably be claiming I encountered the Jersey Devil since this happened in the New Jersey Pine Barrens 😅
Some claims have said it could have been a Cougar, a popular comment on this video even said it could be a Vixen in the heat, but it could’ve been a Mountain Lion too.
A Mountain Lion’s screams fit the description of “A wild person with no language skills, being gutted alive”.
Just look up Mountain Lion Terrifying Scream and there’s hundreds of videos.
@@seaI. Moutain Lions aren't fond of swimming. Yes they can swim but are not quiet or graceful to the point of not being silent crossing a river. I know my Great Horned Owl story seems a bit of a stretch but if I didn't see it with my own flashlight I would of thought it was 600 pound creature by the deepness and power in the way this Bird screamed.

@@Cypresssina I don't see how a mountain lion would of easily ended up on the opposite side of a body of water that quickly without any noise. I know lions can swim despite people thinking they can't but as i mentioned if I hadn't seen this particular horned owl I would of thought it was a 500 pound creature by by its deep tone and volume.
