  • i FINALLY got round to filming a bookshelf tour... and it was chaos.
also -- the reason i'm at my family home instead of my flat in london is because i came home for christmas for a week and then lockdown happened so i ended up staying for two months (lol) AND ALSO I SAID THE HOBBIT INSTEAD OF LORD OF THE RINGS AND I'M SORRY

Fits well into my space, I painted the back green. It's very easy to customize just the back if that's something you want to do. I would suggest sanding it first before painting, I got a little impatient. The shelves ruclips.net/user/postUgkxM8H4CjCb79vzeyvgaFMdzmLm88oVFPMkare pretty small so keep that in mind if you're going to have it horizontal that some books won't fit. I like the snug look that it has. Good small shelf if you don't have much space, but not too small. Simple to put together, though you'll need your own tools, a screwdriver and a mallet/hammer, it's easiest to do with another person.

I was wondering if you could do a video on book editions. With the pandemic and lockdown is harder to choose which edition of the book to buy (you can't flip through one while online shopping) and when it comes to classics it's nice to buy the ones with lots of annotations on them. This is so specific, but since you're an English Lit graduate I thought you have quite a bit of knowledge on which editions are best, at least for classics. I love that there’s all the sophisticated classic books for 99.9% of the video and then there’s just the pointless book.... sticking to a theme of timeless literature classics I see, we love to see it 😌

😍😍😍 loved the video! seeing you keeping so many books makes me feel bad about rage-donating books we read in school which i really didn't like. decluttering books is so hard, i feel like i never know if i will regret throwing a book out or not
