Remember in the first movie when Ash went to the cloning room to save Pikachu and sort of went into the cloning machine. Maybe instead the the machine not registering Ash it actually cloned him later on. The Ash clone might have taken the Pikachu clone and went on adventures in some regions while the real Ash and Pikachu went and adventures in other regions. Mind blown (O_O)
Luciano Martinez I do remember hearing that people in comas are aware of their surroundings. If that's true than they shouldn't be able to dream... My George I think your right!
I think it's quite possible that Ash is a clone of red because they're really similar but I think that Red's father was Giovanni and when Red died Giovanni cloned Red and the clone became known as Ash who had exactly the same traits as Red but looked slightly different due to mutations taking place which also might prove why Ash is immune to electricity and why is appearance is different to Red's but his style is similar. Or another theory could be that Ash is Red's son and Giovanni is Ash's grandfather.
a new theory about this one. anime is just horibbly written. the en of a theory. but speaking seriosly, I think they are just some sort of pokemon like ditto, or they are the product of mad exeriment of breeding pokemon with people
My theory? Ash is a Joy... Or rather, Mrs. Ketchum actually has (like) fifteen identical sons named Ash (Like there are identical Joys, Jennys, Don George to name a few), and at the start of every region, one Ash drops out, and another Ash cycles in. There's a bet between the siblings, whoever manages to be come Pokemon Champion gets to be the "Real Ash." And they carry on like they're the same Ash just to mess with people. And that explains why Ash seems to reset back to "Stupid" at the start of every region. He "knows" all the stuff his identical siblings have told him, but he's never experienced it himself, so he still makes rookie mistakes at the start of a new journey.
yes be one but I would bet on it so if you guys want to come by or anything but she's human. And he's Mexican so yeah the point of it is he's not an alien he's Mexican or probably try to anyway Japanese but I wouldn't bet on it Pokemon Pokemon 102 out and put them on 101 out to
What if instead of Giovanni being Ash's father Ash's father was Red. I mean Ash's father is missing, Red has disappeared and is on top of Mount Silver in Johto. Ash's mom said in episode two of the original anime about how it took some time for Ash's father to get to Viridian City. Red was busy in the forest catching pokemon to complete the pokedex which is already completed in the anime. Ash' mother did say that Ash's father was a great trainer and im pretty sure Oak mentions Ash's father at least once to. Because Red won the league and completed the Pokedex for Oak.
Brayden Fuller Um... Dude in the manga it states that Crystal (Crys) completed the rest of the PokeDex, while some trainer could of caught the legendary pokemon, Red and Blue could of just completed the Kanto PokeDex.
Ash Ketchums Dad In that case I have questions. If I'm correct about you being Silver (judging by your pic) are you the same guy from the games/manga as an adult, you know Silver, Giovanni's kid? If so did you stay in touch with the other Dex Holders?
Ash Ketchums Dad He stole from you?! Okay I've been trying to find them all for a while now so any info is good. Two three questions, was Green/Blue with him, did it look like he was with team rocket, and where were you when he took your money? If I do find him I'm make sure him and Green give it back, even if I have to make Crys get on their cases til they do.
Tomal Choudhury this is most crazy pokemon therory if you ask me. it is no point to make him as a clone. pokemon is a kids show and they give f... in how it is made so it is no point to make myth.
Misty was burned by vulpix and was just fine. So the "superior strength" thing falls through there for me. Also, who's to say that Ash ISN'T getting older? Just because he seems to be 10 forever in the English dub, doesn't mean that he isn't ageing normally in the Japanese dub and that the whole thing is just lost in translation due to his never seeming to change physically. Perhaps the folks dubbing it just thought that no one would pay much attention and that the "10 year old" Ash would just appeal more to young children. If they were to say "14 year old Ash Ketchum starts his new jouney in a new region" does anyone really believe that he would then appeal as well to their target audience? And Giovanni being his dad? Just doesn't seem to hold up to me. Perhaps his father passed away, but being a show geared towards children, those dubbing the show thought to leave that out so they could avoid explaining the concept of death to kids. And maybe his folks just split. It happens. But again, they may have that it better to leave such a thing out to better avoid having to explain to children why mommy and daddy couldn't get along. But it's just another prime example of the things that are lost in translation, I guess.
Does that mean that meowth and Jessie and James are clones that Giovanni created because in every episode they get wrecked by Pokemon and pikachu and they never die.......
What if Richy and Ash are twins or half brothers. Richy has the same hair color as geovani but looks like Ash. It makes sense for them to be half brothers if they maybe Share a parent and look alike.
easy fix to this: he was cloned to be one of the greatest Pokemon HANDLERS of all time: cloned from Sir Aaron explains his natural ability to empathize w/pokemon, explains why he's ok w/letting his closest pokemon wander at all times. His natural affinity for aura was (perhaps unitentionally) enhanced during the cloning process, making him stronger, quicker, and slowing the aging process. It would also explain why so many legendaries respect him so: they KNOW who he is, and they can count on him to pull off all the bullshit they need him to do. It also explains why his battle strategy is so flexible, but he's so dumb: Aaron lived in a time of war, and thus would have imporvised in the battles he was in, creating self-protection reflexes that carried over to the clone. Conversly, he subconsiously remembers what he "lived" before, so he's constantly distracted by things not working the way he feels it should
+LucarioKnight B The similarities between Sir Aaron are striking but due to the huge time gap between the life of Sir Aaron and the present you can't really argue that cloning him would be possible. You are also arguing epigenetics and in the Pokemon anime that's a really complicated concept. It would make more sense that Aaron did indeed leave the world with a successor who was just as successful as him. Over the years his clan were able to defeat the anarchy of the world and impose a new world order that included beliefs such as fair treatment of pokemon. Due to human nature this world order is continuously opposed but Aaron descendants continue to fight for justice. Modern day members of this group are known as Aura Guardians like Riley. Ash is undoubtedly one of these but for some reason is not formally recognized by the group. This might be due to someone in Ash's family splitting away from the group in the past to avoid their duty but their bloodline remained strong so Ash has the same abilities.
It's time for a brand new Pokemon Theory! This time, I decided to do one of the more outlandish and crazy theories, but I still think there's some entertainment to be found in covering something so ridiculous :D Hopefully most of the people who watch the video see this comment, but I've got to apologize for how some parts of the video might seem a little bit rushed or skipped over. While writing the script/editing the video, I wanted to go over the theory pretty generally and try to fit all of the info I could into the video in under 15 minutes. Unfortunately, in doing that I feel like I might have made the video seem too fast at times, and skipped over some of the more important facts and theories (Like why exactly it isn't likely that Ash would have been cloned from Red). Hopefully it's not too bad though :/ (It might be my least favorite theory video i've made, but we'll see how I feel looking back on it though, I guess). A quick shout out to Anime Andrew for the inspiration for the theory! If you're reading this, Anime Andrew, then you should post your theory! It was a pretty neat read, and even though I didn't take too much from it in the video, I feel like it's different enough from my info that it would be cool to post it in the comments!
PokeMadness1996 I mean, yeah I think he would probably have done some sort of mental manipulation like that on Ash. The theory really does start to fall apart when more ideas are applied to it, so it's definitely a pretty unbelievable theory :s
øyvind vatna I've actually done one (well, it's just a "timeline of the pokemon games" video), but it was kind of confusing, so i've been slowly working on a better, easier to understand timeline (with more info and questions answered inside of it, such as the munna one. If I had a dollar for how many times I get a comment about Munna...).
I like the Ash clones. sounds awesome. Also the idea that Giovanni would always send the clone home to spend time with Delia and get a new body makes sense. If we are going with Giovanni as his dad then whose to say that he doesn't care for Delia. Perhaps she nearly broke mentally from the depression of Ash's death and the clones are there for her. Plus I like the idea of Jessie and James being Ash's baby sitters. It explains why they are obsessed with following him but are rather ineffective for members of a powerful crime syndicate. They are never supposed to really succeed. Infact the small scuffles they have with Ash could be just to help him improve Conflict breeds growth and adaptability. Not to mention they probably get bored just watching him so they like playing with him through attempted theft of Pikachu. I also want to add to this the idea that Prof Oak is behind Ash's travel companions. As they all are guiding and teaching Ash while being his friend first as a favor to Oak but later truly come to care for the boy who lives and dies pokemon one year at a time. But that a theory for another day.
Ash does have some kind of super strength being able to jump as high as he can in dangerous situations and picking up heavy pokemon with ease, and living through electrical shocks that is proven to kill a real person in real life. XD
Nerd alert, I'M here. In fact, 90% of people struck by lightning survive, and 70% suffer long term consequences. So yes, it is possible he died, but the fact that the cloning failed with Amber2 really makes this a stretch. The odds of him dying during that attack on all pidgeots are HEAVILY stacked against him, and while the odds of him being injured are still high, they're not as high.
Read Nin the voltage on pikachu's lightning is different and last longer than lighting ppl get stuck with in the sky the main reason people can live threw it is that its so fast to do a lot of damage to you, u blink and u mess the lightning hitting someone put you can blink quiet a few times and still see pika shocking whoever. from what i learned in my physics class if the voltage is high or low you have a good chance of living but if its somewhere in the middle not to strong not to weak your almost guaranteed death, cant remember the exact numbers
Riko Hitsuya I agree, although it could have been the mythical Pokemon Victini. Don't forget that in Victini and Reshiram, Victini helped power up Tepig and Scraggy making for a powerful Ember and Headbutt attack. Victini also gave Ash the legitness he needed to jump to safety with the two Deerling and Pikachu with him as well as showing him the way out of the maze he was in when he finally got himself to safety. Maybe Victini was helping Ash all along to survive all this. Maybe (message for Gar1onvia about PokeSins - Here Comes The Squirtle Squad) that's how Ash can jump out of pitfalls and makes it to towns despite a 100-ft edadly drop into a river. Plus, there was one time where Ash clearly died in Team Plasma and the Awakening Ceremony (my favorite episode of all for reasons I wish to keep to myself) when Pikachu kept Thunderbolting Ash over and over. Ash clearly died and Pikachu decided to lay down on Ash, but then Ash ended up LIVING! Who knows, that could have either been Giovanni or Victini.
But how does Serena remind Ash in the new seasons? Serena remembered Ash helping her at the age arouns 4,5. And after Serena saw him on Tv she searched for him and could find him and remember him. BUUUTTTTTT Ash couldn't remember her. Eh say's something?
i gree but then if he is a clone, and he has done all that traveling then he wouldnt be 10 and serena wouldnt be ten either they would be their actual ages 16 or so cuz remember ash returns each year so ash being a clone lets say stays 10 but serena would be 16 or so thats a way on checking this theory
Serena didn't do anything interesting in her life After that and she could memorize him that's not the case of ash.He travelled kanto, orange islands ,johto, hoenn, sinnoh and unova and met so many people ...now that makes sense right?
My hypothesis: when Mew brought the characters back to life in the eighth movie, it actually created clones. This explains why their voices and personalities changed in the episodes following. Makes sense kind of. For the love of god don't reply explaining why the actors were actually recast, I know that. It's just a fun little justification from the fictional aspect.
LegitGamerXpro Maybe the cloning process have given him some sort of healing factor so he doesn't age and can recover quickly from attacks? Wait.. Would that make Ash the Pokemon version of wolverine minus the claws?! O_O
Natsu Dragneel I was just adding to the concept and making a little joke out of it xD But yeah.. he was shocked a few times before the fearow incident.. and even a few others were shocked too.. Humans from pokemon are just very tolerant to many attacks due to their adaptation to it over the many centuries they've been around them for..
+shadowfox9356493 That is becuase Humans in the Pokemon universe are actually normal type Pokemon. I mean think about it, every other creature is a Pokemon, why would humans be any different? In addition, we have several examples of Humans "evolving" into other Pokemon, such as the incredably smart child that fell asleep and evolved into the first Kadabra, or the Pokemon that is the spirit of a dead person who holds a mask of its face from when it was Human.
Mr.Buddy this comment is directly to you. I have 1 simple proof that you overlook and it makes this whole theory wrong. OK I want you guys to listen from here. Buddy do you remember saying something about Serena's flashback? But did you see that Serena was the same age (Maybe she a few months off, that explains why she is. taller) as Ash? No. You overlooked it. And in Pokemon X&Y it shows Serena as the same or a few moths older that Ash. She is tall because of a growth spurt or something or Ash is just naturally short. So I hope you make redo. If you do, please give me credit for this. Oh, and please reply so I know I didn't waste my time for nothing.
that's why his eye color was different from the unova region and geovani probably figured out how to give him intellect by the 6th region, kalos, and why he rarely talks about the other regions he explored, and mostly remembers the region he is exploring and Kanto, the place before he was cloned.
Well, I could answer this in theory. The second theory at least. Red beat Giovani before, and he used his DNA and found a person willing to be a mother, I.E.: Mrs. Ketchem. Just a theory.
1:29 "This theory is going to be really Farfetched" Farfetch'd.. hehe Now I'm gonna ruin everything with another theory, I believe Ash survived the electricity and the reason he is still 10 years old is.. Ho-Oh. Ho-Oh may not have existed in gen1, but Ash sees a flying bird Pokémon fly over him, nearby a rainbow. Ho-Oh is the Rainbow Pokémon. In many of its Pokedex entries it says that one who sees Ho-Oh is granted eternal happiness. Eternal happiness, maybe Ash can now live forever? Or his "eternal happiness" was being a Pokémon master, champion of all regions, and meeting/catching 'em all. Anyways, your theory was nonsense like mine, but it can make sense in a way. :) Why Ash changes his hat through different regions? Fashion or the producers are tired of the old hat.
My theory on why Ash doesn't grow old: Remember in the 4th Movie when Ash and Celebi travelled through time to meet with young Prof. Samuel Oak? My theory is that by time traveling with Celebi, it somehow makes that person exist outside of time, and therefore, age extremely slowly.
Nikko , I see a flaw . He's 10 at the start of his kanto journey and it took a year to finish . If yours is correct he should be 11 , but in black and white it was confirmed he was 10
The second theory would work if Red is actually Ash's Father who we never see. It could be that Red went through his journey, then settled down for a bit with Ash's mom, and then left again.
angelsinthewindow Maybe when Ash is in another region Red returns Because he doesn't want Ash to see Due to being the champion or something else and when ash returns he goes to Mt. sliver ?
I think the clone world is oppiste of the real world beacause Ash is strong in the real world and know alot about pokemons and Ash in the colne world was the oppistre. Then Serina beat Ash many time in the Clone world and in the real world Serina never beat Ash yet.
Everybody seems to mention that Ash always stay at 10 years old. But what they failed to mention is that most of the characters in the Anime doesn't age as well...
Well this is a different world with an obviously different cloning process and different laws of science so I wouldn’t be surprised if the effects of the cloning process was also different.
I don't think Ash is a clone because, he goes HOME to his MOM in between his adventures. He just has a high durability, and normally has help in the abnormalities. Don't forget he can use aura (Not well, but still), so I'm guessing his aura is sort of like an invisible shield keeping him from taking the full out attack, but it still hurts. This possibly helps boost his thinking and strength in times of crisis, or when his emotions are almost literally bursting. The non-aging thing probably came from Ho-Oh, on his first day as a trainer. Giovanni is in fact, NOT, Ash's dad, otherwise the two would make some kind of connection. Not to mention Team Rocket threatened to hurt Ash in order to get Meloetta to cooperate (sorta). I'm still doubting this theory because I highly doubt clones, which were human made from another being, have an aura since they are artificially made, like homunculi from Fullmetal Alchemist. Aura is like a soul, a raw energy, so how would a clone get that energy?
This theory only makes since if you watch Doctor Who and know what the main character is. Maybe the people in pokemon is a species that has come from time lords. It explain why pokemon fit in pokeballs. They're bigger on the inside, why ash appears not to age, and why ash can survive lightning, fire, and other things, why there's no normal animals, and how there is a time traveling pokemon.
I have a theory of my own about that Ash really is Red clone! I will start with some fact and only then will carry on to the theory itself. So, facts: 1. Giovanni was inspired and touched by Red in Pokemon Origin. 2. Mr. Fuji had Mega stone. 3. Mr. Fuji knew about Mewtwo. 4. Mr. Fuji gave Red the Mega stone knowing this is the only chance for Red to defeat Mewtwo. 5. Red won the pokemon league (unlike Ash, important thing to remember since there is the subconscious messages of Ash's brain). 6. Mega stones were revealed in the anime only after the Diamond and Pearl season (Oh yeah, there is Dialga in this theory). Now! It's theory time! Let's start that Giovanni really liked Red alright? Red reminded him himself when he was young and he is the pure reason why Giovanni ordered to tear apart Team Rocket. So, it does make sense that if he really wanted an awesome trainer which will have all the good quailetes that pokemon trainer should have he will pick Red as a template. Knowing that Red is anti Team Rocket, Giovanni wanted to get a fresh start so he needed to clone Red. That's enough Giovanni for now we will come back to him later. We do know that Mr. Fuji gave Red the Mega stone of Charizard X knowing it will be the only way that Red will defeat Mewtwo. But wait! Mega stone? What the hell? We are talking about 1st generation you know, 151 pokemon, no breeding, NO MEGA STONE. How could it be? Well, the first appearance of Mega stone in the main anime storyline is on XY series which mean AFTER we know about the existent of Dialga! Dialga can travel through space and time and we do know that this pokemon can do it with people! Back to old man Fuji. He was one of the scientists to work on Mewtwo in Ash's universe but! He also knew that Mewtwo is strong and no one can control him. So what he does is to go to Red's universe in order to stop the disaster that Mewtwo caused in Ash's universe. That's why he knew the Mega stone was the only way to stop him. So he somehow (well... kinda stretching for the theory) managed to use Dialga's power in order to travel time (in order to get the Mega stone for charizard) and universes (in order to get to Red's universe). Well that's all nice and good but doesn't explain the Ash being clone from Red thing. If Fuji were able somehow to get Dialga in order to use his time and universe power thing so can Giovanni! If you remember earlier Giovanni wanted to start fresh with someone just like Red but he wanted the new trainer to be on his side. So he simply takes Red from their universe into Ash's universe and create... ASH! THE CLONE OF RED! Also, this theory may explain why Red disappears.. He doesn't disappears he just shifted universe! Hope you guys liked my theory :)
Better theory: Is Ash a character for an educational TV show aimed at 5-10 year olds that does yearly movies designed for 5-25 year olds in order to get people to become pokemon trainers? My theory is that whatever replaces the military in the pokemon world is just trying to recruit Trainers as their defence force. The 6 pokemon limit is so you can have loyal weapons because yes, a team of 50 would wreck, if they're not loyal they're not as efficient. The show makes it look like being a trainer is the greatest thing ever. Everyone is nice, you get to travel across the world, sweet gamifying gyms everywhere to keep you from going bored, many pets you can learn about, free healthcare, etc. Like, look at the pokedex in the show! It tells us, the real world audience pretty useless information. But what about the pokemon audience? To them, that just tells them what wondrous things their world has for them. But here's another part. Why isn't everyone a Pokemon Trainer? Because it's just like how the army tells you that signing up will have so many benefits like high pay, reserved educational positions, work ethic building, etc. But people in our world don't take those options, why not? Many reasons but they don't have as much marketing. No one goes "Yeah, I want to be data entry man for a legal firm!" but people still end up there because military propaganda doesn't work on them, they found their own path. The thing is, there's a good chance that the anime (and maybe even the games) are just propaganda to get trainers to enlist willingly, just like how most nation's defence forces have show off days at schools to tempt kids down that path. Pokemon is propaganda by the military to entice people to become trainers!
What about Ash being sucked into MewTwo's cloning device during the first movie? He was at least partially connected as so a clone could have resulted from that.
How about this one: In the first season Ash needed 8 badges to join the indigo league. Gary was always ahead of him. But how did the heck Gary get 10 badges in that time?
so weird because in Pokemon black and white ash requests professor oak for charizard's pokeball so charizard or pikachu would have noticed he was a clone. I think ash comes back to pallet town to change his outfit
Reasons why the theory doesn't work could also includes the following 1) Brock who has traveled with Ash for generations hasn't aged either. Even Gary made an appearance in gen 4 and looked the same age. 2) In gen 2 Ash started out with a lot of his gen 1 pokemon and only sent them away in the middle of it so how can the command of not switching his pokemon work there. 3) When Ash reaches varidian city for his 8th Gym battle in gen 1 he says it took him an year so that means Ash already delayed the clones life. In fact after the Kanto league Ash went to the Orange Islands with all of his same pokemon. 4) in order for this theory to be true we would have to assume that geovani stopped researching for a more durable clone after he made the first one couldn't he make a clone that aged normally or didn't have the flaws the original clone did.
Pokemon XY & Z new series -> Ash wins the Kalos League -> It could go two ways (Ash isn't a clone or Ash deteriorates in front of everyone, I'D LIKE TO SEE THAT HAPPEN XD)
+Kaleb Provost tha tnot going happen dude if ash sotp being ni show it be him sernea getting tighter seren ator said one dya ash serena will be tighter forever
This Clone theory could explain why he abandoned his "Gotta catch 'em all" persona. He loses his idea of "I am going to catch all the Pokemon in the world!" Type of ideology.
Jesse James and Meowth took far worse spankings from pokemon than Ash ever did. almost every episode team rocket gets blasted through the statosphere, and lands back on earth alive. so thats thousands of volts + massive landing impact for team rocket. lets face it the cloned units being tougher is just silly when the majority of humans in the pokemon world are shown to be half kryptonian. all you need to ask is, DO OTHER PEOPLE LIKE MISTY AND BROCK AGE?
if ash is a clone, that would explain why he is still 10 but it wouldn't explain why everybody else around him doesn't age. And also the coma theory is a bit far fetched since he ran into misty before he got shocked by lightning, without asking her name (meaning that he shouldn't have known who she was and wouldn't have become a major part in his adventure)
Mr. Buddy, I am new to your channel. I comes up two very interesting theories and I think they are way better than the coma and clone theories. 1.) "Ash's a first pokemon/human hybrid that has been" theory - What if Ash's father is actually a pokemon that haven't seen yet and it could be possible part of the future generation and Probably somehow Ash's mom Delilah befriends Ash's dad that first has appears as a pokemon and they forms very powerful bond between them than unlike regular trainer and their bonds with their pokemons. Maybe Ash's dad is some kind of Legendary pokemon that wanted pokemon and human to live peacefully and he want his hybrid son Ash to fill his dream to build a bridge between pokemon and humans alike....I known it's farfetch. If you think about it, there's actually some pokemon can shapeshift into human form like you had seen Zoroark and his preevolution Zoura and Latias...What if a pokemon could disguise as a human and has a half-breed with a regular human. Maybe Prof. Oat knew about it when he was doing research some kind of ruin and brought along Delilah when she was little ....Think about it. 2.) Here's my other theory, it called "The Changeling" theory - I thought this theory after the Fairy type got introduced in Gen 6. I heard couple of classic fairy tales about fairies that kidnapped little children and replaces them with one of their own. Sometime parents mistakes the fairy child as their own. I known it sounds dark, but what if the real Ash got switched at birth and replaced by some of new Fairy type pokemon that disguises as Ash. Maybe the Ash we all known from the cartoon is a imposter and this "Ash" didn't known he is a pokemon yet. Probably the real Ash's dad went off to looking for his son who that's the real Ash got took away by Fairy pokemon....Possible it could make sense that "Ash" never grown old in the anime series. We known Ash can resist Fire and Electric moves and I heard Fairy type can resist Fire and Electric moves. I known most pokemon can't evolve after stage one and pokemon can't evolve at all unless they use a mega stone. If Ash is a pokemon, probably he will use the mega stone on himself to make him mega-evolve into his true form that pokemon verison of his adult himself....(I think mega stone idea will fit well with the Hybrid theory if Ash can mega evolve to his human form to his pokemon form)...Anyway, Why the Fairy pokemons switched a human child with a pokemon? Probably Ash's a very rare Fairy pokemon and a prince to Fairy pokemon. Maybe Fairy pokemons hid him to keep safe from something or someone. Maybe they switched him at birth to let Fairy Ash live with the humans to keep him safe. I don't think Ash's a clone. I think something's mythical about Ash. If you known this, Ash has mostly special bond with legendary pokemon, too. Sometime he went off a Aura ability. In the Eighth movie, they said that Ash could be the reincarnation of Sir Aaron, because he have Aura ability like Lucario has. Don't forget Lugia known Ash and he surprised about this. I don't known, but I known he is special. Maybe he is a hybrid or pokemon or something, but I don't think he is a clone.
Mr Buddy!!! You're so awesome :) thanks for another amazing video. Just a question, will you upload your live streams? You had one a while ago that I commented on a lot in the live chat, but don't see it up here. Just wondering. Keep doing what you do fantastically!!
One thing that ruins your theory. Serena and Ash are the same age. They met couple years before first series and both got older. If ash was clone only he wouldn't age afterwards.
Or the anime is merely Ash's retelling of his journey to his own kids and he has a habit of filler episodes, like Ted from HIMYM. And the reason he's still ten is because he started with "When I was your age" and these being Ash's kids, they took that quite literally. The different seasons and the psuedo reboot of Ash through them is when someone else starts adding in when they started travelling with Ash and what they were doing, explaining the detail on events Ash couldn't possible know in full.
It might not be real but I love theories and putting them together. This would make sense to me and every time Ash dies again, he turns into a shiny dito just like the fails of Mewtwo! Before you hate please note I only started liking Pokemon two years ago so I am a noob but I think I know enough like shinies, theories, and I understand references from other gens as well as wanting all the games and loving Pokemon's beginnings and the series "Pokemon Origins!"
Another potential option for the clone theory is that Giovani and Delia's son actually died as a child due to a disease or misfortune. When their kid died, Giovani tried to clone him with characteristics to survive things, but after Ash was "born" Delia broke and suppressed that her original kid died while Giovani couldn't deal with his wife having the breakdown along with the face of his son. Cue Giovani's attempts at power to prevent another loss, along with the Jessie and James following along...and his potential obsession with cloning. After all, if he heard about the girl from MewTwo's early points, well, he might wonder why his own son didn't with Ash...
a theory i believe in is that the anime is a bedtome story, off the bat this explains why ash does not age, and explains a scene from one of the gen 4 movies on it, with a little girl and a mother, who have been seen in other episodes after this movie, not only does it explain why he isnt aging, but how he can seemingly survive almost everything without major harm, as in the electric shock in the first episode.
this is the stuff i like, its unique and interesting... not the same regurgitated crap that have lost their importance, ie the Ho-Oh resurrection theory Good on you Mr Buddy
There are marks on the clones so we would notice if we met up with him
But I would believe that he has a clone on a journey
@@SuperBatSpider You’re right. The marks definitely debunk the theory. I guess 13 year old me wasn’t that bright.
@@PtEthan It’s fine. But maybe there is a clone Ash out there and we just haven’t met him yet.
I'm about to debunk and put an end to the Ash-Coma theory with one single fact:
You cannot dream while you're in a coma.
Luciano Martinez I do remember hearing that people in comas are aware of their surroundings. If that's true than they shouldn't be able to dream... My George I think your right!
Luciano Martinez life on mars
Holy titties
My brother was in a comma for a year he said he had some weird dream
Coma stupid auto correct
I think it's quite possible that Ash is a clone of red because they're really similar but I think that Red's father was Giovanni and when Red died Giovanni cloned Red and the clone became known as Ash who had exactly the same traits as Red but looked slightly different due to mutations taking place which also might prove why Ash is immune to electricity and why is appearance is different to Red's but his style is similar. Or another theory could be that Ash is Red's son and Giovanni is Ash's grandfather.
the name red could represent fire and the name ash is what's left of it. so ash is what's left of red his remnants
now I'm finding out about a clone girl named amber? she's the start of the fire.
clone? That's nurse joy and officer jenny talk./
+Gearstin yeah i totally agree on that!!
+Gearstin
agreed. we need a theory about that! (if there is one post the link!)
OF course all them say they are cousins but how do they look exactly alike?
+iloveowls90 The reason is because of the art director's laziness.
a new theory about this one. anime is just horibbly written. the en of a theory.
but speaking seriosly, I think they are just some sort of pokemon like ditto, or they are the product of mad exeriment of breeding pokemon with people
And could explain why he didn't recognise serena 😱😱😱😱😱😨😨😱😱😱😱
Paul Mott-Warden He didn’t recognise Serena at first, but he did recognise it after when she said Professor Oak Camp.
Lol
He "knows" all the stuff his identical siblings have told him, but he's never experienced it himself, so he still makes rookie mistakes at the start of a new journey.
wow! awesome theory! I mean it's pretty awesome!
+charl da Kidd lol that was strange but the theory sounds believable and it's quite good as.well! mind if I post it to another poketuber?
Yeah, go ahead. I'd love to hear people discuss it.
yes be one but I would bet on it so if you guys want to come by or anything but she's human. And he's Mexican so yeah the point of it is he's not an alien he's Mexican or probably try to anyway Japanese but I wouldn't bet on it Pokemon Pokemon 102 out and put them on 101 out to
Nancy Romines Did you reply to the wrong comment?
What if instead of Giovanni being Ash's father Ash's father was Red. I mean Ash's father is missing, Red has disappeared and is on top of Mount Silver in Johto. Ash's mom said in episode two of the original anime about how it took some time for Ash's father to get to Viridian City. Red was busy in the forest catching pokemon to complete the pokedex which is already completed in the anime. Ash' mother did say that Ash's father was a great trainer and im pretty sure Oak mentions Ash's father at least once to. Because Red won the league and completed the Pokedex for Oak.
It's a good theory... but when Red met Oak, he was already old.
True.
Jake but professor oak is a time traveller
Brayden Fuller Um... Dude in the manga it states that Crystal (Crys) completed the rest of the PokeDex, while some trainer could of caught the legendary pokemon, Red and Blue could of just completed the Kanto PokeDex.
Yeah that makes sense because ash looks like red enough and he was strong and ash doesn't remember to much about his father
ROFLMAO
I think the writers being Super Lazy and trying to keep Ash close to the same age as the target audience. Is the truth.
Lol ur so right
angel whispers whatbis roflamo
ikr
Yes, because no anime keep their character the same age for years and years.
angel whispers yea to be honest I mean now in the 7th generation he's probably gonna be 18-19
If Giovanni could make genetic improvements to the cloned Ash, you'd think that Ash would have a double digit IQ.
Pizza Shark daaaaaaaaamn, million upvotes for this ahahah
***** i am ash ketchums dad
Ash Ketchums Dad In that case I have questions. If I'm correct about you being Silver (judging by your pic) are you the same guy from the games/manga as an adult, you know Silver, Giovanni's kid? If so did you stay in touch with the other Dex Holders?
Krystal Rossi Good question, I am not the same Silver. That guy took my money. If you see him tell him I want it back.
What if Ash is reliving his memories,
maybe he is telling his his kid, grandkids ,ect. I don't know maybe just thinking.
that's a lot to tell
+Cr0Nix SaV3s XD your right
Lol xD
how i met your pikachu
+cody allen lol
No, I just can't believe this. XD He's just a kid, who wanted to be a Pokemon master, so he went on a Pokemon journey.
I agree
Tomal Choudhury this is most crazy pokemon therory if you ask me. it is no point to make him as a clone. pokemon is a kids show and they give f... in how it is made so it is no point to make myth.
Ash can't be a clone!
3:40 Mewtwo is so adorable! >w
_ohmy_
All clones that deteriorate are Dittos. Done deal.
Or its just ash being a good son and visits his mom every year since he's literally 24/7 on a journey??
It's almost easier to setup a theory saying that he's Barack Obama.
Clone body deteriorates... Turns into ditto with hat on... Nice job manXD
and serena cries...
In Yong Chung Definitely
In Yong Chung of course 😭
What if Richy and Ash are twins or half brothers. Richy has the same hair color as geovani but looks like Ash. It makes sense for them to be half brothers if they maybe Share a parent and look alike.
easy fix to this: he was cloned to be one of the greatest Pokemon HANDLERS of all time: cloned from Sir Aaron
explains his natural ability to empathize w/pokemon, explains why he's ok w/letting his closest pokemon wander at all times.
This time, I decided to do one of the more outlandish and crazy theories, but I still think there's some entertainment to be found in covering something so ridiculous :D
Hopefully most of the people who watch the video see this comment, but I've got to apologize for how some parts of the video might seem a little bit rushed or skipped over.
Mr Buddy would do a theory about the nurse joy all being same because they are clones
Jan Itor Didn't she die? My knowledge of Diamond/Pearl pokemon Anime stuff is pretty bad, but I thought her ship blew up at the lake?
Are you going to do a theory on the white forest???
The second command is great. Charizard would burn the world if it sensed ash was a clone
lol yup
I'd burn the world too...
Did you put ash's hat on a ditto when referring to him deteriorating?
Ash does have some kind of super strength being able to jump as high as he can in dangerous situations and picking up heavy pokemon with ease, and living through electrical shocks that is proven to kill a real person in real life. XD
Nerd alert, I'M here. In fact, 90% of people struck by lightning survive, and 70% suffer long term consequences. So yes, it is possible he died, but the fact that the cloning failed with Amber2 really makes this a stretch. The odds of him dying during that attack on all pidgeots are HEAVILY stacked against him, and while the odds of him being injured are still high, they're not as high.
actually read nin most people struck by lightning head on don't survive
It was a long time ago, he just forgot her ;I
HE EXPLAINS THAT AT THE END OF THE VIDEO!!!
EnderWater MC stfu
i gree but then if he is a clone, and he has done all that traveling then he wouldnt be 10 and serena wouldnt be ten either they would be their actual ages 16 or so cuz remember ash returns each year so ash being a clone lets say stays 10 but serena would be 16 or so thats a way on checking this theory
Serena didn't do anything interesting in her life After that and she could memorize him that's not the case of ash.He travelled kanto, orange islands ,johto, hoenn, sinnoh and unova and met so many people ...now that makes sense right?
(HEAVY SARCASM) Am I the only one who's noticed that, while Ash/Satoshi hasn't aged after all these years, no one ELSE has, either?
Misty has. She's gotten taller, and grew breasts.
my brother's dream came true
Brock has a bit. Misty less, but she has as well.
owos100 even ash looks older
Chris Wilson ... WTF!
It's honestly better than the coma theory.
Jayfeather151 .
MrProofMan please make a fun little justification from the fictional aspect for why Nidoqueen can't breed
Menopause. HAHA
or they made the anime for kids making him 10 years old every season
Lol
Wait who says the ash clone has to degrade maybe it just doesn't age
LegitGamerXpro Maybe the cloning process have given him some sort of healing factor so he doesn't age and can recover quickly from attacks? Wait.. Would that make Ash the Pokemon version of wolverine minus the claws?! O_O
***** +shadowfox9356493 Sorry before the spearows were even shown, pikachu shocked ash in the scene with the crowd when ashs mom embarasses ash
shadowfox9356493 Sorry before the spearows were even shown, pikachu shocked ash in the scene with the crowd when ashs mom embarasses ash.
Natsu Dragneel
I was just adding to the concept and making a little joke out of it xD But yeah.. he was shocked a few times before the fearow incident.. and even a few others were shocked too.. Humans from pokemon are just very tolerant to many attacks due to their adaptation to it over the many centuries they've been around them for..
+shadowfox9356493
That is becuase Humans in the Pokemon universe are actually normal type Pokemon.
You wasted your time for nothing
that's why his eye color was different from the unova region and geovani probably figured out how to give him intellect by the 6th region, kalos, and why he rarely talks about the other regions he explored, and mostly remembers the region he is exploring and Kanto, the place before he was cloned.
Well, I could answer this in theory. The second theory at least.
Red beat Giovani before, and he used his DNA and found a person willing to be a mother, I.E.: Mrs. Ketchem.
Just a theory.
1:29 "This theory is going to be really Farfetched" Farfetch'd.. hehe
Now I'm gonna ruin everything with another theory, I believe Ash survived the electricity and the reason he is still 10 years old is..
Why Ash changes his hat through different regions? Fashion or the producers are tired of the old hat.
My theory on why Ash doesn't grow old:
Remember in the 4th Movie when Ash and Celebi travelled through time to meet with young Prof. Samuel Oak?
My theory is that by time traveling with Celebi, it somehow makes that person exist outside of time, and therefore, age extremely slowly.
Nikko Legaspi the word somehow ruins every theory, including the Big Bang Theory
Nikko , I see a flaw . He's 10 at the start of his kanto journey and it took a year to finish . If yours is correct he should be 11 , but in black and white it was confirmed he was 10
Well, maybe he packed the same clothes for his journey.
Just saying: Ash doesn't need a subconscious command to not get romantically involved. HE'S TEN!
Well if this theory was true... R.I.P Serena and her love life
+ninja magic super rip
Or it's a cartoon.
Destructive Overlord it’s not a cartoon fella.
Lots of other characters have been shocked by pikachu and lived.
What if Ash is a clone of Giovanni or Professor Oak?
We see the kid Samuel Oak in Pokemon the movie 4, and he looks nothing like Ash.
My theory is that Ash, Red, and Ritchie are all Geovanni's clones.
If you remember in the anime they mentioned how it had been a year since they had been in Veridian City so the theory should be instantly debunked
The second theory would work if Red is actually Ash's Father who we never see. It could be that Red went through his journey, then settled down for a bit with Ash's mom, and then left again.
angelsinthewindow Maybe when Ash is in another region Red returns Because he doesn't want Ash to see Due to being the champion or something else and when ash returns he goes to Mt. sliver ?
Knight Spark You mean like Red leaves because he makes Ash for inferior to him?
***** Knowing Ash that isn't isn't likely.
***** What do you mean by dream cycle?
Oh I see so he had a mission he to tend too.
1:30 tsk missed opportunity to use a farfetch'd joke/reference haha :)
No, just no. He is not a clone.
That intro looks like it could be a Ben 10 theory at first
in episode 23 haunter takes out ash's spirit so it doesn't make sense that he is a clone but still your videos are the best
and a million people get shocked by lightning and 4000 of them survived
I think the clone world is oppiste of the real world beacause Ash is strong in the real world and know alot about pokemons and Ash in the colne world was the oppistre. Then Serina beat Ash many time in the Clone world and in the real world Serina never beat Ash yet.
Everybody seems to mention that Ash always stay at 10 years old.
But what they failed to mention is that most of the characters in the Anime doesn't age as well...
If ash was a clone, he would age faster than a normal person, and as ash hasn't aged at all, he's more likely to be a robot
Why would he grow faster
+Jack V science, it's complicated to explain but clones grow faster than the original body
haha why he's always so crazy for Clement's inventions.
ryza craft beep bap bop
I'm not a clone. I'm just Ash Ketchum from Pallet town
I'm just kidding.
Oh ;-;
Ha! That's why this theory is realy 'far fetched' am I right ?! No oh...
this was a pretty cool theory I never thought about it before this way
I love what you did with the lavender town song in the beginning ;p
>Says the word farfetched in a pokemon vid
>Doesn't show a picture of Farfetch'd
What are you doing?
I have a theory of my own about that Ash really is Red clone!
I will start with some fact and only then will carry on to the theory itself.
So, facts:
So he somehow (well... kinda stretching for the theory) managed to use Dialga's power in order
to travel time (in order to get the Mega stone for charizard) and universes (in order to get to Red's universe).
Hope you guys liked my theory :)
the problem with this theory is NOBODY ages in pokemon. My only question is time has passed so how long has he been traveling for
Better theory:
Is Ash a character for an educational TV show aimed at 5-10 year olds that does yearly movies designed for 5-25 year olds in order to get people to become pokemon trainers?
How about this one:
In the first season Ash needed 8 badges to join the indigo league. Gary was always ahead of him. But how did the heck Gary get 10 badges in that time?
so weird because in Pokemon black
and white ash requests professor oak for charizard's pokeball so charizard or pikachu would have noticed he was a clone. I think ash comes back to pallet town to change his outfit
Reasons why the theory doesn't work could also includes the following
1) Brock who has traveled with Ash for generations hasn't aged either.
What if Ash is Reds son, and Blue is Gary Dad? Or visa versa
I have a theory, every Pokemon season takes place in an alternate universe.
Jesse James and Meowth took far worse spankings from pokemon than Ash ever did. almost every episode team rocket gets blasted through the statosphere, and lands back on earth alive. so thats thousands of volts + massive landing impact for team rocket. lets face it the cloned units being tougher is just silly when the majority of humans in the pokemon world are shown to be half kryptonian.
all you need to ask is, DO OTHER PEOPLE LIKE MISTY AND BROCK AGE?
that would also explain why he gets worse at the start of each region
He should do a video why Ash does'nt talk about his previous adventures
Anyone who has watch this series, anime has to realize that most of the population is clones, and most likely not native to this world..
What if Ash is a clone of someone who is confirmed to be a very skilled trainer such as silver from the anime or even Prof. Oak
Red is Ash... Game Freak said so... In Heart Gold they gave him that name because everyone chose the name red... THEORY DEBUNKED
Love the thumbnail. Reminds me of the opening titles for Counterpart
this is insanely interesting. good job ^.^
Ash does act slightly different in each series. If anything I feel like each series is it's own universe.
I think Red is Ash Ketchum father and also Red could be Pokemon champion
or vise versa
if this was true ash would have never gotten sick by vileplumes stunt spore along with Tracey in season two correct
Wait, where was I when that happened?
you said far fetched but did not show a farfetch'd on screen.... much dissapoint
The unova region series proves parts of this wrong as he has retrieved chardizard and his friends can also stand pikachu and emolga's electric attacks
if ash is a clone, that would explain why he is still 10 but it wouldn't explain why everybody else around him doesn't age. And also the coma theory is a bit far fetched since he ran into misty before he got shocked by lightning, without asking her name (meaning that he shouldn't have known who she was and wouldn't have become a major part in his adventure)
the ash dying from electricity is not logical as brock and misty are also electrocuted along the series
The lapras army must rise
After a couple of Pokemon attacks ash's body have gotten use to the attacks
I mean Professor oak could be the base and this would also explain ashes cheek things
This could also explain why Ash's intelligence and experience keeps hitting the reset button.
It might not be real but I love theories and putting them together. This would make sense to me and every time Ash dies again, he turns into a shiny dito just like the fails of Mewtwo! Before you hate please note I only started liking Pokemon two years ago so I am a noob but I think I know enough like shinies, theories, and I understand references from other gens as well as wanting all the games and loving Pokemon's beginnings and the series "Pokemon Origins!"
he win the orange league so was a champion
Do a Pokemon theory of Pikachu speaking to Ash.
but ash is actually 14 now in kalos
+Genira Sabal and ash having the aura ability allows him to withstand these attacks
Its flake man ash survive the charizard flamethrower ash absolutely could survive that thundershock
a theory i believe in is that the anime is a bedtome story, off the bat this explains why ash does not age, and explains a scene from one of the gen 4 movies on it, with a little girl and a mother, who have been seen in other episodes after this movie, not only does it explain why he isnt aging, but how he can seemingly survive almost everything without major harm, as in the electric shock in the first episode.
Wouldn't His Mom Know???
this is the stuff i like, its unique and interesting... not the same regurgitated crap that have lost their importance, ie the Ho-Oh resurrection theory
Good on you Mr Buddy
BUT HEY! THAT'S JUST A THEORY! A GAME THEORY!!! Thanks for watching.
