While The Clone Wars made clones feel like absolute Greek fookin' GODS! I mean holy CRAP when Thorn got shot FOUR TIMES and STILL took down MULTIPLE droids while being surrounded on ALL sides and having to lug around a heavy ass machine gun while screaming out "FOR THE REPUBLIC!!" Don't get me wrong though, I love Clone Wars as well, but The Clone Wars is called THE Clone Wars for a reason. HOT DAYUM!!!

That’s because alpha class arc troopers were trained to be one man armies. In legends even The Empire thought twice before going after one of them.
Funny enough, if I remember correctly, they were the only Clones that were given the option to retire by the Empire. About half of them took the offer and ended up becoming Bounty Hunters and PMCs.

wouldn't the empire just terminate them without the clone's knowledge? like put all the clones on some star destroyers and fly those into a sun? or blow it up? or maybe just keep using the clones on su/c/dal missions or for peacekeeping?

Alpha-17 (Rex's inspiration from the comics) is stiff competition here.

I mean, both Fordo and Alpha-17 are Alpha ARCs, so I'd say they're both pretty equally badass.

@@TheBINIBALL No, Alpha-17 went missing in action a few months before the end of the Clone War and was never seen again.
You might be thinking of CT-1707 Able, though, who was a regular clone trooper stranded on a planet past the end of the Clone War. Able was found by Luke on that planet and did end up joining the Rebellion.

That whole show run was badass they show the troopers actually doing shit and the fight scenes were awesome
It's one of the finest examples of watchable star wars media that truly showcases the battle prowess of some of the most prominent characters.

I agree with everything but "actually doing shit." Lol, and what did you think the clones were doing in both the Prequels and The Clone Wars, exactly? They all still had their fair share of badass moments all throughout. And Thorn is arguably the more badass clone compared to Fordo. Now don't get me wrong here, I love Clone Wars too, both CWs are my all time favorite Star Wars ANYTHING, but everyone's always constantly gushing about Fordo when Thorn literally took FOUR blaster bolts to the chest and STILL kept going while being COMPLETELY surrounded on ALL sides, having to lug around a HEAVY ass machine gun while screaming out "FOR THE REPUBLIC!!" just seconds before his death. Clearly the most badass clone, especially when you compare just him and Fordo. It's not even close. Fordo wasn't even surrounded, he was facing a linear assault with a droid or 2 on the flanks and he had lighter weight blasters to carry. Lol.
Fordo and his boys were the only ones in 2003 to force Grievous to fight carefully. He’s the GOAT of clones.

I mean, I'd say that Maze and a few other Alpha ARCS should be up there too, but I can agree that Fordo and Alpha-17 are both some of the best of the Alpha batch.

Todays journey: saw a Helldivers 2 animation based on Fordos one man army scene, came here to see the original, then found out the creator of Samurai Jack is also behind this marvelous scene/film. The action and writing seemed very familiar to me

Yep. He earned the honor of having Jaig Eyes on his armor from the rescue of the Jedi on Hypori. The only clones that are known to properly have Jaig Eyes are Rex, Fordo, and Blackout.

Somewhat correct. Fordo received the Chancellor's Service Medal (an exceedingly high honor) for his rescue of the Jedi on Hypori, but, instead of keeping the medal, he instead had it posthumously transferred to CT-43/002, who the only member of Fordo's team to die during the Muunilinst campaign.

They've always had mags. In combat, you are more likely to die than run out of your 200+ rounds.

Fordo’s overall design changes so much between his phase 1 and 2 look. I heard somewhere that the guy in phase 2 armor originally wasn’t Fordo.

We don't really know what he did for most of the Clone War other than he was present during both the battle of Muunilinst and the battle of Coruscant. He didn't really appear in any media outside of the 2003 Clone Wars series.

A better thing is if there is a new clone series that is mainly about Captain Fordo or they should make a Lego mini figure version of him
One of the coolest figures they've ever done was of Frodo with his phase 1&2 helm his blasters and removable pauldron. It was one of the 7" black series or scene figs I think.
Man I remember how healthy these Super Droids were in Republic Commando game. When one of them appeared, things were getting intense, and when two of them appeared, it was FUBAR. And here, Frodo takes them down one by one with no effort at all

This is why I want the 2013 Lego clone captain; I have the 2015 lieutenant and made a pauldron and kama to make him into one of Fordo's arc troopers; I would make Fordo himself if I had the captain fig.

He also stuned Durged (a CIS Bounty Hunter) until Obi-Wan destroys Durged before the bounty hunter could kill the Clone.
He should have been part of the 501 with Anakin
The 501st is a specialized infantry unit, but it is still infantry. The Alpha-Class ARCs operated at roughly the same level that the US's Delta Force or 24th Special Tactics Squadron do.
Alpha ARCs don't get attached to infantry units. All Alpha ARCs are part of the Special Operations Brigade and, while they can work alongside infantry units, they never become permanently part of those units.

Captain Rex is my all-time favorite. He's just too hard to beat. TOO many all-time great scenes and lines that 1 clone alone had any right to having haha. The Zygerrian Slavers, Siege of Mandalore and Umbara arcs, just to name a few all-time awesome moments from Rex ol' boy. And don't even get me started with the real GOAT Commander Thorn lol! So for me it goes like this: Rex, Fives, Thorn, Alpha-17 and then Fordo, respectively. Top 5! ;D
