    Thinking about it, clone medics were probably EXTREMELY effective compared to a modern battlefield medic since they only had to work on "one" man. All of their training could be hyperfocused on the Fett genome. Things like dosages of medicine, reactions to drugs, and other highly variable factors in the real world would all be controlled for by the clone army. Even stuff like emergency surgeries for shrapnel or the like would probably be within their capabilities since they would have so long to get to know the default clone layouts. A LOT of the training and experience of modern medical professionals is about learning the differences and adapting on the fly. But clone medics wouldn't have to worry about any of it. I wonder though, if that reduced their overall effectiveness on humanitarian or other species aid missions. Still, the Clone Medics for Clones was probably remarkably effective

      Your Idea is nice, but it´s flawed
      Even in a 1:1 clone, the genome is the same, as are the The properties growing in vitro
      As soon as they are "Born" in reality, they tend to drift apart, even if they would be stuck inside a Bacta Tank until Teenage years, it would still drift apart, because the Nature is random by itself, therefore a clone is similar but never the same
      you can never control all the variables to make perfect 1:1 copies like in a melting press with an physical mold

    Also, on the flamethrower units. While using flamethrowers raises some moral questions, the fact that they were used against Geonosians was not a problem, as the Geonosians themselves used a very nasty weapon, the Sonic Blaster, which, according to lore, would pretty much melt your internal organs, if its blast hit you. • @darkninjacorporation
      @darkninjacorporation 8 месяцев назад

      @@tk-6967 how is having a bad navy the fault of the fighter and transport pilots? They were the best part of the Republic Navy. Their training and equipment was higher quality than the Separatists, they just couldn’t hope to turnfight droid fighters. The fact that the Republic navy, consisting almost entirely of Carriers and Escorts, managed to win victories over the Separatists with Dreadnoughts, Battleships, Cruisers and more proves they weren’t the worst navy of the 4 major factions. I’d arguably give that to the Rebel Alliance.
      Anyways back on topic, the individual fighter pilots did pretty good considering how much was going against them like uncomfortable armor and, early on, tactics that didn’t hold up to droid swarms. I still think we should’ve gotten to meet an LAAT pilot/crew or something more in-depth, like reoccurring secondary protagonists like Waxer and Boil

      No, the Republic navy was not comprised of escorts and carriers, it was comprised of star destroyers with a handful of escort cruisers. Also, their victories prove nothing, because the war was rigged in their favour, and generally had nothing to do with the actions of clone crew and pilots, who didn't perform well enough to justify their price.

      It's easy to say Stormtrooper, given how they die like flies across various media, but really, being a Stormtrooper is probably not that bad. They're one of the few units in the Imperial military that benefit from full-body armour (for all the -trooper variety out there, not all of them have full-body armour). The armour itself has a built-in comlink, infra-red visor, nightvision, and a toxin filter, and it's designed in such a way that the wearer doesn't die from most blaster shots but merely loses consciousness. So really, the biggest downside would be rigorous training and the highly hazardous working conditions, since Stormtroopers are a literal assault class, and their armour still doesn't protect much against melee weapons and explosives.

    I wouldn't necessarily give Galactic Marines the title of Worst Job given their extremely high standards and if I recall, their whole job effectively would be a volunteer exclusive unit as Bacara was willing to reassign troopers who did not reach his expectations.

    Flame trooper and cold environment trooper armour looks almost the same. I wonder if the armour was an extreme environment armour that both types used. It also looks to be a precursor to the marine armour, which would make sense.

    It’s messed up to put clones to death like in the bad batch they talk about what happened to clones during the imperial era but in the clone wars did any senator think “hey what happens to clones when there injured to the point where they can’t fight?”

    7:04 I would argue that harsh lessons had been learnt by the soviets during the previous Winter war if 1939 where their soldiers quite literally froze and starved to death against smaller and ill equipped finnish soldiers which still managed to beat the living crap out of the soviets until they surrendered.
    One of those lessons was to replace the usual brown winter uniforms with better adapted white ones.

    The Clone Wars had to be the longest 3 years imaginable. Just by the number of different clone specializations for every type of environment and situation, it's pretty much impossible to imagine what that short span of time must've felt like.

    I would argue, The German and Soviet example of the disparity between those adapted to tundra climates and those who aren’t isn’t great in my opinion. The winter in the Eastern front of WW2 wasnt really a tool for the Soviets as much as it was an obstacle for the Germans.
    I would argue rather a better example is the Soviet Finnish war a couple years before WW2, where Finnish troops, famously those with skis used the winter to their advantage in mobility. Compared to the Soviet troops in their brownish uniforms, Finnish Ski troops had whitish coats which allowed them to blend in. They also made use of weapons like grenades and Molotovs which were more effectively used since they were able to hide amongst the Finnish Forrests

    The Flame Thrower job would be among the worst & has been in real-world combat scenarios, when used during war time. Enemy noticing the flame thrower person & targeting at soonest opportunity.
