It amazes me how many other dumpster divers do not bother to clean up just walk over the rubbish it’s great to see you care about the environment good on you too
A nice cheese tip is that most hard cheese such as cheddar, swiss and parmesan cheese are perfectly fine without refrigeration. As long as the cheese hasn't experienced extreme heat and is sealed it is safe to eat at room temperature to slightly above. The refrigeration of hard cheese just makes it last longer but can affect flavor and aging if not wrapped appropriately whether its stored in the fridge or on the counter.
I don’t know if people are aware but if you have cigna Medicare insurance u get over the counter items free and depends and any underwear for adults is free 85.00 every 3 months
You guys seem to not have found much food when you used to find it at almost every dive so I'm very happy for you and appreciate you two showing us all the goodies. One suggestion of caution in case you found veggies, there was a massive Nationwide recall on tomatoes and in our shopping this past week, we found another jar of Jif PB with the number 425 in it that was part of a Nationwide recall 1 months ago. Please check those food trays before leaving them for other people so you and others will not get sick. Thanks again....we love you two!
Always take any clear plastic zippered bags. They’re great to store your own pillows, blankets or anything you want to keep clean and dust free! I love your hard work and dedication. You’re helping our landfills!!!
Thrift Kingdom diver said $190 billion worth of food gets thrown away each year Crazy!!! It's probably more,Thank you so much for what each of u do,luv watching you guys always good!!!😊
That's probably the retail price we all pay in the grocery stores, added up. The markup is actually ridiculous, and the farmers see a tiny miniscule percentage of that money.
Salami, dry sausages and cured meats like that don't really expire by the dates listed. You'll know if they were exposed to heat because they will have started to expel oil. You can freeze the extra ones. My Sicilian grandparents would keep salami and dry sausages for ages in the fridge. If you go to real Italian delis you'll see dry cured meats hanging from the ceilings, of course it probably never gets above 68 or 70 degrees in those delis.
Another great dive, another win for Planet Earth. Those smoke cured sausages are good for days without refrigeration as long as they stay cool. We took them and other cured meats like salt cured ham when we backpacked long distances with no coolers. We took cheese as well. The sharp or "hard" cheeses held up best. Thank you guys. You're the best! ✌
I love that you are donating to the needy and to animal shelters. Love that you got a cat. I love cats. My son and his camily volunteers at our local animal shelter. I donate blankets, etc. To our shelter. My grandaughters are going to pick out a cat for me. Keep up the great work, you two. God bless you both. 😊❤❤

Walk ways where grass doesn't grow or small planter boxes for herb gardening ❤ wood is so expensive and to see that throw away is hard to see
It would be great if there was a Facebook group of dumpster divers in your area and you could notify others of great scores of food. Thanks for helping others and the planet Earth. 🥰
I bet this exists... maybe vloggers don't do it in case they trigger stores to add locks, I know thats always a concern. The cheese will be fine. If you think about how long cheeses are left out in room temperature on cheese platters (and for soft cheeses, it’s recommended that you let it come to room temperature before serving), these sealed cheeses will be more than edible and fine.
You guys are doing great !! Thank you . I did want to let you know that some cheeses, such as cheddar, american and a few others as long as they are not shredded, do not have to be refrigerated. Also, most of the time its a best if used by date, not actually expiring. Always go with your gut though. You're both doing a great job !
Hi guys awesome that's fabulous, that is great that you bring it to the blessing box or the Little Pantry as you call it Anyway keep up the great work. I love that about you guys always leaving it better then you found it. 🤗👍💗
You can always freeze cheese and thaw it later to melt. It's texture changes so it's not as good to eat unmelted but if you melt it, it comes out just yummy and smooth.
I really love what you do and what you do with all of the reusable items. I think it would be so fun to do that. If I was younger I think I would join in but at my age I’m afraid they would think I should stay in the dumpster. Lol.
I can’t believe these stores throw all that food away and they don’t donate it. It frustrates me knowing there’s all that food that can be donated to food pantries and homeless shelters. I'd like to make a suggestion, one of the dumpsters, had a lot of their shopping bags in it. Grab them if not torn, and use for you garage sale, small trash can liner or when scooping litter box.
All that cheese and crackers and meat you can freeze that stuff. If you have room to freeze it you can always give it away at your yard sales straight out of the freezer. You can also drive around and if you see homeless people just hand that stuff out to them. If you leave it there at the dumpster, for someone else to pick up, it may end up getting too warm. If the meats and cheeses are shrink-wrapped you can just stick them in your refrigerator and they will stay good past the expiration
It just boggles me that all that good food is dumped. Why not donated or low low cost. So glad that you find and save from the landfill. You are super people!
@7:29 Those orange safety cones can be expensive. They are very usable for breakdowns, along with flares. My lawn service crew used the larger cones for safety when parked on the streets during a job. This one looks really cool, with that cool font number 5 printed on it. I would buy that at a yard sale for a few dollars because I collect unique things that look artistic, and industrial.
Great haul guys. Just an idea as it’s getting hotter maybe keep a cooler in the bed of the truck? It can keep drinks cool for you whilst you’re diving too. Well done 👏👏👍🏻🙏😍❣

I say keep it open, shows your wall color from behind...I kinda think it was even made that way and they just lost the battery cover in the store, nothing else...
You guys are awesome..not even resting in between dives...great to find food and all the other stuff...helps the hungry and may add a little bit more to your yardsale items..🥰🥰
If this helps, as Wisconsinite, cheese that is cold can be left out for about an hour in 80 degree temp. 70 degree, we usually don't go longer than 90. Also, check on it while its out - if warms, it can always be put back in the fridge or freeze it. Freezing it makes it last a few months past it date (not the spread though). My parents even took cheese from WI to Colorado which took about 4 days, all they did was pack ice around the cheese.
Kids, just a hint......cheese does not go bad. Even when there is mold on it, you cut if off and it is fine. If the package says processed cheese, it does not keep like your hard cheeses like Cheddar, Provolone, Swiss etc.
I love the passion you have to donate animal shelters , Books and the little pantries. Can you donate the food to a homeless shelter? Nursing homes can use those adult briefs. Nursing homes are on a tight budget and can barely afford the food that they bought to feed the residents that live there and they can always use toiletries and things of that nature. Anything right now that can be donated they can use also learn more. Just letting you know if you don’t know.
Curious - After the tons and tons of stuff from the many days of diving at college campus and apts, was today ever so slightly a let down or no? Would certainly be normal if it was. I do LOVE how much food you found! Will you be returning to college campus anytime soon? Love your videos so much. Thank you for sharing your lives and dives with us!
I love the fact that you all clean up the food and donate it all. You’re helping so many people. God Bless you all!
With or without checking the dates?
Yes and if anything is out of date that doesn't mean it's not good, it's for for many years after the best before date.

It is always fun to watch you both ❤
Kids, just a hint......cheese does not go bad. Even when there is mold on it, you cut if off and it is fine. If the package says processed cheese, it does not keep like your hard cheeses like Cheddar, Provolone, Swiss etc.
Great job y'all !! What a blessing you are !
I love that you two are considered of others.. you guys are awesome🌼
Great fines. Food for the blessing boxes are always good.
You are getting skinny girl. You look great. I love watching you two. You dig, you clean up and you both like to laugh. Keep the videos coming.
The briefs were in somebody's garage hence the Lowe's box. There's a lot of places that give away briefs. It even says donate the briefs on the side.
Just letting you know if you don’t know.
wow lot of foods to donate😍👌
happy diving kelly&alex👍😊
Curious - After the tons and tons of stuff from the many days of diving at college campus and apts, was today ever so slightly a let down or no? Would certainly be normal if it was.
I do LOVE how much food you found!
Will you be returning to college campus anytime soon?
Love your videos so much. Thank you for sharing your lives and dives with us!
