Loved that old Massey combine as that is not a n item of our area. Always loved the shows Dave. I had been down for a while, but now back going. Thanks Banjo Greg in Ky.
Must depend on where you live. The WD45 AC WAS VERY POPULAR AND GREAT REPUTATION. FAR MORE OF THEM IN OUR AREA THAN MOST OF THEM ON THIS LIST. THANKS GREAT VIDEO👍🇺🇸
We run a Ford 860, John Deere 60, and Oliver 77. They all hold up well and have their place, but the 860 is the main one that sees use because it has enough power to get the job done, and is the most versatile. The 60 pulls better than the others, and the Oliver is the best on fuel, and most comfortable.
I was pleased to see the MH 444 and the Allis d15 on the list...l agree the Case 530 was a great tractor👍 l used to own one..never should have sold it..
Guys and there's nothing wrong with those series and I'm surprised that they didn't win in the voting I would especially think the H which is like the second highest selling tractor ever would possibly win a spot but the subscribers for some reason pick the 404 which I found quite baffling
No problem man and all these tractors were picked by the voting by the subscribers of the channel like we said in the video sometimes they surprise me and pick tractors I personally wouldn't but I guess that's how it rolls man
Good job on the video. This was more of a popularity contest among viewers, which is fine. I would however be curious to see a top ten based solely on sales numbers. Although I’m a Deere fan I’m think’n there would be a lot of Red tractors in that lineup. Bless’ns to ya, Tedd
We have a Case 530 that is still used regularly. I agree it should have been ranked higher. That model was far superior to other comparable makes of that time period
Well some I dont know much about so cant knock thim but the 404 and the ford are dead shaft the 530 was with the hand clutch the trip range was a beast moving from field to field but who could leave out the 2000 or 4000 ford 4 cylinders? Just wondering lol thanks for the info
Liked em all, but my first favorite was International 404 and I've always had thing for Allis Chalmers. Your no. 1 was the '53 Jubilee but in Dean's world it'd probably be my #3 but i enjoyed your Line Up. 💯%🇺🇸
I was surprised to not see more John Deere. I like those enough that I have a nice collection. All restored and usable, b model r model, 820, 435, 2020, and 2240. I know some of these are a little newer that’s your list, but they are still good tractors.
@@CrazyDEquipment I don't know much about them and cant find information on them. Just recently came into knowledge of them and found that one would be beneficial to me. Appreciate your channel and the knowledge you share.
Good idea...I have a 610 Long on track (610 SM), for a few years, more than a few years ago, I did quite a bit of brush hogging with that combination. Steep or wet you can't beat it. The 610 long is still going strong, it is an odd piece of equipment but it does some things better than anything else.
I have 2 jublee by Ford 641 one is a 1960 and the other is a 1958 I think ..one came with a 3 speed over drive and half tracks ,they are in Homer Alaska
I don't believe they did come in blue I think the color scheme at the time was the red and gray but a lot of tractors got repainted when they were traded into whatever the current colors of the brand was
So....A farmer starts in on plowing a field on friday and it takes him 2 days to complete the job. When he was done he pulls out of the field on friday. How is this possible !? ...🤠
A reasonable list.. But no farmall M.? The best selling tractor of all time that set the standard for most on your list.! I do enjoy your vids though and will try to not hold it against you.lol
Yes the 530 should have been in the best of 1960’s not 50. I have a 430 case 1964 diesel , the stripped down version of the 530 with the same engine detuned. Came in manual, power assist like a car, or power steering only. You can’t get the steering pump for a 1964 like I have so it is manual only now. If you get a diesel get one after 1964. In 1965 they changed the head and the injectors. The new injectors are cheap the old ones not available!!!
Well you may not know that you could buy a 1960 model 2 or 4000 in the 2nd haft of 1959 ! I guess I should have mentioned the 641 861 and 900s sarry my bad SIR.
I've spent time on some of these tractors, and I've got to say that I love my MHs (especially the triples). However, in central PA only Farmall Ms and Hs are still doing any work. JD 60 is known as an underpowered A. Anything with a hand clutch would disappear from the list after a day of backing wagons up a bridge and into the barn. Ford was underweight and underpowered for anything but a patch farm. However examples of All of these tractors can be found in their work clothes or restored to better than new. How many new tractors will see 60-70 years?
I think the ford won just because there were so many built. They also fetch a premium price tag now due to continued popularity. On thier own marrits it would not have made #1. They were under powered for thier size the gearing was off expecialy in reverse unless it had the sherman, and neither the PTO or hydraulics were live. case, JD, and IH. All made better tractors but we're not competitive in price to the ford therefore were outsold. I sure I will catch some flack for my comment, and you have a 8n, 9n, or jubilee and love it great but for the same money you can get more tractor.

The massey 44 is another mean antique puller with the mile long stroke the thing made some crazy hp and torque for a 4 cyl.

Surprised there were no Farmall H, M, or supers. No Surprise that #1 is a Ford. Glad to see an Oliver made the top 3.
whats wrong with the Farmall letter series and super series?
Guys and there's nothing wrong with those series and I'm surprised that they didn't win in the voting I would especially think the H which is like the second highest selling tractor ever would possibly win a spot but the subscribers for some reason pick the 404 which I found quite baffling

Love them ac,s and I got a case 630 triple range that I love as well
Ford Jubilee #1? Definitely an improvement over the N aeries but I wouldn't put it on this list over a Farmall Super M or Allis WD45.
We have a Case 530 that is still used regularly. I agree it should have been ranked higher. That model was far superior to other comparable makes of that time period
I have 53 Golden Jubilee with Sherman front end loader, it ran when parked it outside needs some TLC now..🤔😉

Sorry, the WD45 had more fortitude when the going got tough than the D15
Angie is looking good
Watching this while working on my 55 super 88

Did you get any snow down there, Crazy D?
Awesome seeing Angie in the video!
No DC or LA Case? No M Farmall? Or WD45 Allis?
I had a 54 Super MD Stage 2. It was a very reliable tractor and easy on fuel.
Surprised WD 45 didn't make the list
I like the Fergies and the JD.
I’m in old Mexico looking for a 530 / 630 / 730 or an 830 john deer wide front end only please
Good info, thanks for your channel.
Enjoyed the video. 👍
Hey Dave, could you do a video on crawler tractors? Looking into getting one for side slope mowing.
Yeah we possibly can do that

The Jubilee was our farm tractor.
What about the farmall M? It should have been number 1.
Cockshut 50 and that 6 cylinder Buddha engine make for one mean antique pulling tractor
Apparently you don't understand what pre- means you 3 Tractors on the list that are post 1960
a few of these were 1960+ and kinda shouldn't be on this list.. nice to see them anyway!
I have 2 jublee by Ford 641 one is a 1960 and the other is a 1958 I think ..one came with a 3 speed over drive and half tracks ,they are in Homer Alaska
I run a Super Dexta with front loader. Best tractor ever made.
I can’t believe an AC WD-45 didn’t make the list. I guess I’m just biased.
Almost every farm had one also farmall H
I've had an NAA over 20 years now. Love that tractor!!!
Great video!
The John Deere 60 has a
321 cubic inch engine
The Super M should be in there
I was thinking the same thing or even a H
Unfortunately the super M was in built until 52 and this would be the video is going to be the top 10 tractors built from the 1940s
JD 60 engine was much bigger than the 170 odd cubic inches mentioned.....
You forgot the UB in the miniapoliis moline
Why were no cabs offered
men were men back the
the allis d15 wasn't pre1960. pre stands for befor 1960 thank you
Wow 💜 🐱. Tractors and
Same horsepower as my old Harley LOL
CRAZY-D UR OFF THE CHAIN

i like the david brown 990 selectamatic tractor
You all seem knowledgeable. Did some 1952 8n Ford's come blue?
I don't believe they did come in blue I think the color scheme at the time was the red and gray but a lot of tractors got repainted when they were traded into whatever the current colors of the brand was
I don’t guess I’m understanding how the contest works. It’s for pre 1960 but the 404 International is on the list?
So that what we're saying is anything 1960 and older if they started building the tractor in 1960 then it it counts
@@CrazyDEquipment oh ok I didn’t think the 404 started until 1961. Thanks for your reply awesome channel

Mf 35 and 50 had the same engine in it including the Perkins 3-152 diesel engine.

Awesome!
I dont think most of our voters here are voting on anything other than what they think is prettiest.
The jubilee was a good tractor but the ford 801 or 901 series were far more superior with power and options
The 860 with the 2 stage clutch is a handy tractor would have been even better with a little more hp.
We still run an 860. Pulls 3-14 plows, and a 10' John Deere KBA transport disc. Was surprised to see the naa, and not the 800 series on here.
Pre 1960 to me doesn’t mean a damn tractor that came out in 1960! Some of these picks are not fair to other models FROM pre 1960
Yes the 530 should have been in the best of 1960’s not 50.

Minneapolis Moline was built in Hopkins Minnesota. The U series also offered a Deisel option. Definately the Ford was over rated
