****Slight Correction****
1:45 there has been a HUGE change the the 2019 XP sight via the carbon bar.
It is a ultra high modulus SOLID carbon bar, 2x stronger, and contains thicker layers of carbon.
Previously it had holes.
THE NEW ONE IS DOPEEEE
Previous one did have holes. But the newest version of the Achieve also had a solid carbon bar.
It's a fashion......statement.
During my time Sure-Loc was in style, then Shibuya......then nobody cared what it was :P
Sight tape is cool :D though...
In any case it looks and probably feels stable and well built.
They go quick. Lancaster already has some colors out of stock back in early March. My local shop has yet to receive the items I ordered.

You mentioned that the sight bar hasn’t really changed. Actually, Axcel reports that the new bar is made of ultra high modulus carbon and is twice as strong as the previous model.

What are the main differences between the older aluminum achieve model vs the new achieve xp model? Trying to decide between an older and a new model at our local archery shop. My son likes the pink and black color scheme, but it isn’t made anymore in the XP version. I’m trying to make an educated decision that is not based solely on color scheme.
By the way, you are my son’s archery idol. :)

Have you ever shot the hogg father by spot hogg? If so what are your thoughts on that sight. I don't hunt very often...mostly target shooting and 3d. Which do you prefer the accutouch carbon pro or the achieve?
Even though I’m 2 years late, the spot Hogg doesn’t have any quick adjustments. IMO it’s a deal breaker for a target sight.

How practical is this sight for hunting? Better than the AccuTouch Carbon Pro?
With a single pin scope this sight will not work well for hunting. When used with a multi pin scope it could work, but the Accutouch carbon Pro is the way to go for a hunting sight.

How did you get the correct sight tape. What is the process?
thomas hood shoot 20 make a mark, shoot 60 make a mark and line the lines up with the sight tapes and you’re done

Love all your vids Chris. Had a quick question I was hoping to get an answer directly from you. What is your method on going about acquiring a Sight Tape? Like your step by step method. Do you use an app? Trial and Error trying to find the closest one? Etc. Thanks man. Keep dropping the quality content!
If you're referring to the sight tapes on this Axcel XP, the way you do it is pretty simple. It comes installed with one of the sight tapes with a white paper sticker on top of it. On this you're supposed to mark at least two reference points (20-30, and 40-60). You then compare those references with the other sight tapes and see which one aligns the best. While the XP doesn't come with all available metal sight tapes, it does have all of them in paper form, so if the one you need is not included, you know which one to order.
As for other sights, there are various softwares available online, as well as phone apps.
