All of them were maestros of their instruments-you rarely see that ever. Just an incredible band
And only 3 musicians on stage......truly remarkable and we’ll not see that again !
Thankfully Neil & the band left us an amazing legacy of recorded & live performances. They will truly live on & like Zeppelin will still be talked about 40 years from now.
Rush is an incredible Canadian band. May Neil Peart rest in peace. Cheers! ✌️🇨🇦
When you like a solo artist, then you would claim that he or she is incredible! Rush are a collective, so is doesn't work! I don't know why, but this seems to be an American thing.
They are an incredible band
@@skttruel Indeed they are!
We miss you, Neil!
These gentlemen got me into rock 37 years ago! Thank you, Mssrs. Lee, Lifeson and Peart!! Professor Peart, may you rest in power, sir!
Word: MORE!
Hopefully someday this will be available Blu-ray and/or streaming.
You can buy R40 then you get the whole concert on Blu-ray.
"Leave out the fiction
The fact is
This friction
Will only be worn by persistence
Leave out conditions
Courageous convictions
Will drag the dream into existence" - Neil Peart

@@shallex5744 oops! Fixed it! Thank you!
One of my favorite RUSH songs hands down.
Ah vital signs one of the best songs Rush did. Moving pictures is still an amazing album.
Yess please!
I met Geddy and his wife at LAX. He and his wife are genuinely gracious and friendly people. Even though I was at the final concert of the R40 tour in Los Angeles, I somehow never thought they would actually retire. I told my son (8 at the time), "Don't worry. We'll come see them again when they do their comeback tour. This is only temporary." I'm glad I took him and I'm glad I took my oldest son to see them in Universal City for the Time Machine Tour a few years earlier. I wasn't aware how much of an impact they had on my life, until Neil passed and it was over. I miss them a lot. My wife just quietly sighs and shakes her head when another official Rush t-shirt comes in the mail.
Finally nice to see Rush back in the cinemas after Beyond The Lighted Stage. RIP Neil, you legend.
The " Deity of the drums " . No one's ever done it better. RIP Neil
And no one ever will.
Best band in the world
And there is no exception to this rule
Hands down the GOAT
Led Zeppelin
@@Bokash71 musically great but no match for Rush.
👍🐐
Love this man, miss you 😥
Nice! Neil lives on, just in another dimension now.
He always has been in other dimension.
Can't wait!!! Been a fan since the 70's ✌️
Best drummer EVER! Sorry I'm partial (and always will be to Rush). Rip Neil. We miss you, your amazing talent and the best three piece band. 2112!
By far the best thing to happen this year🤘
I was so very lucky to have attended 30+ live shows from the many tours for me starting with the 1977 through the final tour. The impact of Rush's music . presentation and message has been profoundly woven into my being in ways I can not explain. Not that I'm the worlds biggest superfan, or whatever. "It's just that I get it".. Rest in peace Mary & Neil..
There are perhaps, hundreds of gifted drummer's..Once in a rare while, an innovator will become legendary..Rest In Paradise, Neil Peart.💙🦅💙
R40 was my first and only Rush concert. I wanted to go to Clockwork Angels when I was 15, but when I wanted to go tickets were SUPER expensive. Glad I was able to experience their brilliance before they retired
What an absolute Beast.
RIP "Professor"
That's a good way to start a day! Thanks Rush!
The professor makes it look so effortless! The BEST trio ever!
Rush Band from Canada is Wonderful super Band. 👍👍👍🌷🌷❤❤❤🎶🎼🎵
The sweet essence of video immortality! this might end up being a RUSH DAY, now that I've had a taste!
Neal lives forever! The biggest!
As I sit here working in my r30 T-shirt, I miss the professor. This makes the day better. Thanks guys.
I won a meet & greet for R30. Met and got pics with Alex and Geddy. Unfortunately Neil didn’t like doing m&g’s.
@@CL-fw "Can't pretend a stranger is a long-awaited friend" and all that, eh?
I believe Rush has stood the test of time and will continue to be one of the best ever along with Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin.
As a teenager I liked Rush but as time has gone on their music has become more of an obsession to me.
With Neil gone it's painful to think about the fact we'll never see them onstage live again..
I'm forever thankful to them for their dedication to us as their fans and for staying true to their music.
We are not going to see this ever again in our lifetimes.
I'm just glad that with the Earth being billions of years old, I was here at the same time as RUSH!
Neil. Brilliant 👏🙏
Hell yeah always a joyous occasion when Rush is playing
thanks for everything, NEIL.......
Neil Peart he is so amazing playing drums still can't beleave he's gone but, never forgotten thank you for your contribution of being a great music artist R.I.P. Neil you deserve it!
First concert i attended as a 16 yr old kid. RUSH moving Pictures tour 81’ At the time i don’t think i appreciated how damn good those 3 gentlemen were, they set a bench mark that few quite frankly don’t measure up to today. I remember after the show i would be going to concerts as a hobby my whole life. 57 yrs old, seen Rush 3 times. Best live band i’ve seen is ACDC, 82’, but Rush in my top 5 live shows
I have never forgotten seeing their Moving Pictures concert in Evansville, Indiana and to watch Neal Peart on drums was to be watching a true master artist at work. How he tossed a drumstick into the air straight above him and catch it without losing a beat on the drums and without looking up to catch it, it's beyond me. But when he did that the whole audience burst into a huge cheer. He was one of the greatest drummers I've ever seen, if not the greatest.
I hope I'm still alive when technology allows us to watch the guys play once again.
💖RUSH💖 RIP Neil Ellwood Peart💜💜💜💜💜. Since the very beginning, and for I always I will love you three💖 You have no idea what you all have meant to me throughout my life, Rush music is the soundtrack.
The closet any of us will ever get to another live Rush show. Glad I was able to see them as many times as I did before the final curtain.
Neil is so good he can use basically nothing except for the snare and make it sound full of spice and flavour. RIP, it’s still hard to believe he’s gone.
Awesome 😎.
My favorite rock band of all time! Seen them live 13 times starting in 1978.🤘🏻
I’m sure Neil is enjoying his everlasting drum solo in the heavens. R.I.P .
A 40+ year moment in time that will never be repeated, some of the best times of my life, we were blessed to witness RUSH.
No band gets me mesmerized like Rush. And it’s been like this forever. Two other bands that make my mind are Jethro Tull and Yes. But Rush remains my main musical orgasm.
The best!!!!
I am so excited!
The GOAT... irreplaceable and original as they come ...we All miss you Neil. Still coming terms with this loss..
Rush is cool af !!!!!✌️💎
I Love RUSH Best Canadien Band Ever 🇨🇦
Excellent news! #RIPNeilPeart
My last Rush concert was one of the R40 shows they filmed in Toronto - RIP Professor.
Me it was same but Montreal
He was one of a kind. He will never be matched.
My first two concerts were Permanent Waves tour in Phoenix in 1980, and Moving Pictures tour in '81. RIP Neil 🙏
WE MISS YOU, LEGENDARY NEIL PEART!
How classy is it that the preview is all Neil Peart ?!
RUSH on the big screen? Again? Count me in.
💙
Awesome!! #bubbarulez 🥁🎬
Happy Birthday to Geddy Lee! (July 29)
I don't know if this makes me want to cheer or cry. I think I'll do both!!
suddenly you were gone ... RIP Professor
Yesterday was 6 years since seeing the boys for the final time, #R40PHX. Wore my R40 to the first Cinema Strangiato, will plan to do the same for this one. Always great to see the boys on the big screen with big sound.
Now that's grace under pressure. What a legend playing on with brain cancer like nothing is wrong. Neil Peart with always be an inspiration to me.
Long live Rush!
LOVE YOU RUSH.
Rip Professor, you'll be eternally missed
I only got to see them live once for the clockworks angel tour but that is the most memorable night of my life and would not trade anything in the world for it.
I hope for the miracle that lost film footage is discovered and that it’s all released on DVD
Who needs Red Bull when RUSH gives you wings!!
I will be there. Thank you for continuing to release content. Of course the unimaginable dream has always been an official release from the Caress of Steel Tour. Even if it's just a direct download. 🤞🏻
Not only was Neil the best rock drummer, but also the best lyricist.
Greatest Band ✌
All Hale Neil🤩👏👏👏👏👏🤙🤙🤙
Get it neil !!! Get it get it !!!
Saw the Signals tour in '83 in Philadelphia. Phenomenal...

i will never forgive myself for not being able to go to this tour
Cannot wait!
There's been some mighty fine things to come out of Canada. But nothing or nobody tops those 3 artists, imho.
R.I.P Professor! The best!
I seen this in the theater it was awesome
Everytime I see the professor I get tears in my eyes
Yes!
