You solved a massive problem for me. I have Windows installed on two different drives with two different optimized configurations. Only one was booting and I was not receiving the Boot Menu to choose the other. You solved my problem simply and beautifully!
You absolute legend. This was exactly what I needed (mistakenly wiped out my boot partition when trying to install Windows a 2nd time). I could see the system volume but BIOS just wouldn't boot from it ... your video saved the day. Liked, commented and subscribed to pay respects and thanks. And your video was concise without unnecessary fluff; well done.
This is such an excellent video. Clear, unambiguous instructions even for a Windows newbie like myself! This video is a model for how all other DIY videos should be edited.
Found and watched this on a device I was not logged in to. Came back to my personal logged in device just to say THANK YOU! Your video was short, concise, and it works!
Thank you for this video. You saved me from potentially losing a lot of data, as well as not spending hours trying to figure out why my cloned drive wasn't showing up in the boot loader.
Absolute life saver! Moved my OS from an old hdd to ssd and couldn't get the ssd to boot by default. Spent a couple days trying to figure it out and this video solved it. Thank you for posting this, you're a legend!
This really is a brilliant video tutorial! I had lost my dual boot function for Windows 10 (but my partition remained) and I had feared the worst. This resolved my query with steps that were so simple to follow - Thank you 👍🏼
You are so awesome my friend! I just updated my BIOS and had to do ot again. Years ago I had to use a programme called BCD Boot something lol. You helped me big time. 👍👍👍
Bro you just saved my OS and my time. I was doomed after installing a second Windows 10 on my other SSD and it was not allowing the previous Windows 10 on NVME to boot and show the dual boot option. With your guidance I was able to restore the multi boot option sucessfully. You are the IT God. Bowing to you.
OMG you saved my day!!! I messed up the boot file and was no longer able to boot into Windows..... until I watched this video to fix my problem. Thanks a lot!
After doing this I restarted my computer again and it stopped working again! I followed these instructions and it's now working perfectly. support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3103656/an-operating-system-wasn-t-found-error-when-booting-windows or search “An operating system wasn’t found” error when booting Windows On google
Thank you so much for this video! Short; simple; gets straight to the point without spending ages trying to teach me things I already know. And most important of all... it worked! =:o}
This saved me reinstalling windows. I had multiple disabled boot manager entries in my bios and couldn't boot properly my dual booted pc. So I deleted windows 7 from system config boot, and after restart I used this method to re enable it again. This fixed the issue in my bios and is showing only the one boot manager. Now if I can only figure out why there were 44 instead of 1 because this is not the first time it happened to me.
thanks so much. All working now thanks to you. This also works with Windows 7 OS as I tested it. The only difference is that the blue Windows Boot Menu will change to the old TXT based black and white one but it will all work beautifully even mixing WIndows 7 and 10 no matter if they were originally installed as MBR or GPT.
Why should I use the Windows Boot Manager? When I look at the bios the UEFI has a list with Windows Boot Manager at the top and then my two bootable drives below it. Why not just move the desired drive to the top of the UEFI list?
Yea really nice simple video. Clear and concise. However what if the 2nd drive is formatted with ext4 file system and windows cannot see the drive but the disk management can.

To confirm that the new entry was added to the boot menu, go to the cmd prompt, enter "msconfig", and look at the "Boot" tab.
