    Alright bro I gotta hand it to you. I was a Motorbike mechanic for 10 years in England and Canada. The other guys and me would always get mad when people messed with their bikes and removed them from stock/factory. It was a pain to work on as for us their were extra steps and things to take into account when either diagnosing a problem (could be electrics and you got all the extra lights, so we gotta rule that out) so its always eltrical steps electrical, mechanical and cycle parts. But man you did this right and on a Goldwing, the king, yes the Goldwing wins and always will from all perspectives relative to competition. The Goldwing always will win. So it would upset us when people messed with Goldwings, but we got it, compared to the sports bike guys who mess with perfectly good GSXR1000s etc, just a waist of time and money, they are destroying a work of art. So when doing Goldwings its gotta be done right, clean factory finiish, perfection. You my friend its really good (apart from that ridiculous cup holder hahah sorry I had to drop that in there. But no seriously great work, thankyou. And that is coming from one of the best back in the good old days before I had no choice but to retire and say goodye with great sadness. Peace

    Brandon, I have 2013. Very similar accessories. Pathfinder, LEDs all around, Mustang seat which I also very much enjoy, and a Madstad windshield the same as yours. Definitely makes the bike look very sporty. I have sitting in my garage in boxes Cobras 6-2-6, torque loops, belly pan, night led lights, and Henry's final gear. I probably have a few more stuff around and hopefully will take a week off from work to get this done. I'm also a veteran and still serve as a reservist. I probably work more on the bike than ride it but to me is a therapy that I love. Safe riding brother! Go Navy!!!

    Got full LEDs front & back on my '14 Goldwing and love it. I use to ride with the high beams & fogs, during the day until my buddies riding in front of me once said they'd rather stare into the sun then check their mirrors with me behind them--they're that bright!
    I always wanted Traxxion Dynamics put on my bike, but could just never pull the trigger.
    Nice F6B. Glad you're enjoying.

      @MegaBgibbs  9 месяцев назад +1

      It also took me a while to pull the trigger but now that I have it, I don't regret it at all. Other F6b riders that test out my bike can tell the huge difference also.

      @@MegaBgibbs I know, a few years back I was on the BRP with a buddy, pulling a trailer with his GW and I could barely keep up. Truly impressive, but $4k on a 10 year bike? At this point I don't need to impress anyone with my skills 😀
      Ride safe!

    Good choice Brandon. I have close to the exact same bike. Mine is 2015, same color, Mega Monty, Helilbar kit, Russell Day Long, MadStad windshield, and Two Brothers Racing exhaust. I can vouch for the Russell but not against the Ultimate as I've never had one. If the Wing had a 10 gallon tank, the Russell would allow me to never get off. It's that nice and spreads the pressure points totally away from any tailbone issues. Agree also on the Mega Monty upgrade totally changing the handling of the F6B. The Rivco's are a must and work great. Forgot to mention that I also installed the Torque Loopz in front of the Two Brothers and yes, that took care of the drone noise. I've got a Corbin arriving tomorrow to try out just for fun to compare to the Russell. Good friend sold his 2013 F6B several months ago that he put 185,000 miles on and it had a Corbin Smuggler from day one. He obviously had no problem with the Corbin. Take care...Ride safe.

    • @MegaBgibbs
      @MegaBgibbs  Год назад

      you got yours all set up. Let me know what you think about the Corbin. From what I hear though is it forms to your butt, so if your get a used one it may not feel right. But let me know. I want you to try out an Ultimate so you can give a comparison!

    • @walcrow7319
      @walcrow7319 Год назад +2

      @@MegaBgibbs Mine is new coming tomorrow from Commiefornia so it won't have someone else's butt imprint. It will put me into the bike more than on the bike which is what the Russell does. Not a negative, but just different. Miles will tell. The advantage of the Russell is that you take photos on your existing seat, give them your specs, etc and so the seat is built for you. You will grin for days after the Helibar kit is installed. It is a 100% gamechanger as far as comfort for the arms and shoulders and gets rid of any reach issues and wrist bend with the stock bars.

They do send it SIGNATURE REQUIRED which they did not relay to me when I contacted them. Just beware of that if you order one. It's now on and the Russell is in the Corbin box. Miles will let me know how it is but so far, it is not that rock-hard feeling that other Corbin riders complain about. It is damn near perfect but the first 150 mile trip will be the judge.

    Nice. Excellent presentation. Very thoughtful upgrades to appearance and performance, did your homework. Expensive, but nothing beats peace of mind and a confidence assuring safe motorcycle. Just purchased a 2015 GL1800 w/20K miles on it and starting my mods. Kinda makes you a little mad that Honda on their flagship GW doesn’t come new with better quality components for the price you pay! Ride safe.

    Nice build and great sound 👍, I'm not a big fan of Ultimate seats or any seat that's the soft cushion type, they get super hot when the temp is up and loose support quickly. I like to ride on "saddles" like Corbin seats, after they break in the support never give out.

    The F6B I had was awful.
    Front wobble
    Unbearable wind buffeting
    Awful seat
    No character motor
    cramped legs
    The entire concept was personally awful
    But the instability I tried to fix with new head bearings and progressive springs.
    The wind buffeting I tried to fix with different height screen.
    When a bije cannot be ridden iver 30 mph without havingvyour head smashed side to side uncontrollably andcyou have to duck down pearing at the road is beyond comprehension.
    I never had one pleasure ride on it, only picking it up and taking it to have fixed and selling before I took a sledge hammer to it.
    It was a very low mileage bike
    It was unrideable.
    It was so bad It should be a reason for class action against Honda if commonplace.
