Splash Mountain "Alternate" Zip A Dee Doo Dah Recording Session 1988

As part of the Splash Mountain Archives Collection I'm happy to debut audio collected by fans, for the fans! The first of the collection is a rare 1988 recording session of none other than Zip A Dee Doo Dah! This alternate theme was never used but was heard from time to time in the queue. It made a return for 80's Nite at Disneyland to celebrate Splash Mountain as part of the 80's decade celebration. Enjoy!
Splash Mountain is a log flume attraction at Disneyland based on the animated sequences of the 1946 Disney classic, "Song of the South" starring the beloved Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox, and Brer Bear characters. Splash Mountain opened at Disneyland on July 17, 1989 and had the longest and steepest flume drop of it's era. At the time of this posting, Disneyland's Splash Mountain is slated to close on May 31, 2023 after almost 34 years of operation.
