You know what I mean, I miss Disney when it was still...you know, "creative". I mean sure, it's still great now, but face it! It's just too corporate and just doing what makes them money rather than back when it was solely for creativity when there was no pressure...

@@TheDylanJoyce Nah, the pressure was always there. For example, attractions like "Great Moments with President Lincoln", "The Carousel of Progress" and "It's A Small World" were made because Disney got sponsorships from the 1964 New York World's Fair to create rides for the different corporate pavilions. I don't disagree that the Old Maestro just had an eye for detail and a genuine passion for his work though, it shows in the rides and some of the older animated features.

Well , just hold on they set the theme of the Princess and the frog (which they’re updating to) and the last I checked the Pirates of the Caribbean was extremely updated because as a kid I remember it was accurate of the time they did sell women yes but now it’s totally alter cadence so that there’s no relevance to history I will admit, that is very dark and awful selling off women and such, but I mean I don’t want just change things things to satisfy a small group of people that have an offense to it, even if it is truth things have gotten too ridiculous in America. They’ve gotten too woke and too stupid things just aren’t relevant anymore. The Princess and the frog is set. in New Orleans so it not quite offset but it’s just extremely updated. Nothing left from Walt Disney. They’ve changed the theater for. The presidents if it’s even that anymore it’s been so long since I’ve been there I don’t even think I want to go there. I mean not only does it friggin cost you your whole mortgage but it’s just not worth it is it?! Somethings are just not worth it.

@@nighthockey5644 It's not financially viable for a major renovation to an e-ticket attraction at this time. Plus Tokyo Disneyworld has absolutely refused to change theirs, which could lead to brand confusion.

Splash mountain lives in my head and memories for ever. They can tear it down at the once amazing theme park known as Disney World. But I will forever remember my memories going on splash mountain.
This Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah is a lot better than the current version.

Hearing Sooner or Later was a major surprise and it gave me the nostalgia feels for the kitchen scene from Song of the South. They definitely should have kept that song for the ride.

Me and you both!😣🥺 splash Mountain is an iconic stamp. Of What made Disney great- along with a couple others.; now so much of the original Disneyland is gone. I really am not interested in going….. I really feel like Disneyland is dying it’s not as colorful as it used to be now it’s very bland and not much to it God for bid they do anything to upset anyone if it’s controversial oh no, we can’t have it😓😓😥 they won’t take risks
The music, vocal styling and audio quality make me think of my oft-times played Disney Records and how they might have sounded today had I been smart enough to keep them.

Sis Rabbit sings Sooner or Later. Never made it to the ride. Today, this is Burrows Lament. Because Sooner or Later was so long, there were no vultures. Right before Splash Mountain opened, Disney decided to change Sooner or Later to Burrows Lament, which is the laughing place song in a minor key. That song is sung by Mother Possum and Mother Rabbit ( instead of Sis Rabbit). But Sooner or Later was at the end of the ride when you look at your picture. Pretty cool, huh?
Brer Sam ya, I thought I recognized Sooner or Later from the instrumental version at the exit. Pretty cool trivia!

Max Mantell Sis Rabbit is the girl Rabbit that sings Sooner or Later. She was replaced by Mother Rabbit.

@MichaelSar12IsBack if you're referring to Laughing place, the cacophonous discord is an intentional part of the storytelling, at least in the final mix/ride.
If you mean on the first verse of zip-a-dee-doo-da, they're modulating the melody into different keys to keep it interesting.
The recording/performance on this is rough; it's a demo, after all. But I wouldn't call it horrible, more "interesting"

I'm probably wrong, but that could be because the songs were written in a different key than we were thinking or the tape is just old..

I kinda wish they kept the belting singers for Zip-a-dee-doo-dah in Disneyland's Splash. The final version always sounded a bit lacking. Would've been the best version since it had the jazz orchestrations. Also is that Thurl Ravenscroft in How do you do?

Si sale en la pelicula, se llama Tarde o temprano.
Jacob, the original movie was called “song of the South” which was scrapped and I’m sure it’s in the archives of Disney but they’ll never bring it out again not the original at least because it was so racist and they did make a new one but it’s not the same….. i’m not saying that the original was OK I’m just saying like so much of the original. Disney is gone it’s not “the happiest place on earth“ as much anymore as it used to be at least that’s my opinion I mean you probably have to take a loan out on your house to even get tickets(that was a quote from the TV host)and that’s not including food and gas to get there (if you’re driving) we would go there when I was a kid. It was awesome. There was still a lot of of the original. Disney left but not so much now I’m not interested.

Splash Mountain, and quite a few others were iconic stamps of what made Disney great, in which intern made Disney “the happiest place on earth“ nowadays, not so sure about that….. people came to Disneyland to forget about their worries, and to have fun with their kids…. Now, it’s all about the cash and it’s very woke.😢😢😢🥺 I bet Walt is turning in his grave right now from what I see I wouldn’t go to Disneyland. No thanks- there’s cheaper much easier things fun things to do cheaper theme parks.
