Good thing I can't sing because if I had to sing this song with someone, I couldn't do it without crying. I have to say that all the duet versions I've heard, including Josh Groban's duets, after some consideration, I like Kelly Clarkson's voice and the way she sings it so much better than the other wonderful female singers I've heard do this song. I love the way her voice bends and sways for lack of better descriptive words, and man, she and Josh!!! Best duo ever, and best due ever for this song. To say it is beautiful just doesn't seem to do it justice somehow. Way beyond beautiful.
have you ever tried? singing while crying? i mean unless your voice gets completely awful, singing while crying can sometimes come out just as beautiful and even more genuine than holding it back. who knows... maybe you've only done it in front of those who don't believe in you.... and just so you don't feel too bad-- i cry too sometimes when i listen to it. i wish to have someone to be that shelter and protection when i need a break from the cruelty of the world. :(
My grandmother passed away about over a week ago. I am still very sad, but I still can feel her presence around us. There are times where I feel like she speaks to us through song. to Harry Hero: you need to review the lyrics because there's a few small spots where what they sing doesn't match the words. other than that it was great! thank you! there are two spots. one where josh uses the word "will" and you have "can" in the lyrics. and another where you have the same issue but in reverse. i think there might be a third but im not sure. like i said minor spots... otherwise great work. i loved the video of them singing together--shared by someone else--live but the high pitches make some words hard for me to understand so I am very glad you shared this with us so i can sing along and learn all the lyrics to the song. thanks again!
