    English translation:
1 : Who is that? (“Who is there/in that one?”)
2 : That is my cousin.
3 : Do you have a lot of cousins?
    4 : Yeah. I must have around 20 cousins.
    5 : Who is that?
6 : That is my aunt.
7 : Does she have kids?
8 : She does, she has two sons.
9 : And who is this tall man?
    10 : That’s my aunt’s husband.
11 : Ooh, do they have a golden retriever?
12 : Yeah, they do. Or they did. He’s dead now.
13 : My brother has a golden retriever, too.
14 : Oh yeah? We had one when I was little.
15 : Do you have any pets now?
    16 : No. I don’t have any pets.
    17 : You have a lot of questions…
    18 : I know!

Moi, kiitos kommentista ja kysymyksestä. I'm planning on offering speaking practice (on Zoom) in small groups this summer. I'll be notifying my followers when I've figured out times and dates! 🙂

Hei! @8:30 is there a way to say this with the word 'kanssa'? Would "Minun veli on kultainennoutaka kanssa" be correct?

    • @learnfinnishwithfinkingcap
      @learnfinnishwithfinkingcap  13 дней назад +1

"Kans" is short for "kanssa", so if that's what you were wondering then you could say "Mun veljellä on kultainennoutaja kanssa". Depends on the dialect which one you'd use. I would use "kans". Does that answer your question?
