Really enjoyed that. It looks like you're ready in the case of disaster. Very Smart. Love your channel and the Great information you provide. God Bless and as always, will follow your great channel. I was a little disappointed in that you didn't like my comment on your great cooking skills. I thought you would have liked it. that's OK. You have so many people that follow you I understand that you can't read and reply to all of them.
In a emergency situation its important to have clean water for drinking and the ability for purification and storage is first on the list , the self defence weapons I'm looking forward to see the video as some of them I'm not sure will work against an assault . Owen. ❤️Vanessa.
I agree that you can't have too many rechargeable batteries and power banks. EVERY time I see them on "clearance", I buy several. So when my power was out from an ice storm last year (1 week), I had PLENTY of juice for phones and laptops. I coulda gone 2 weeks! Also for flashlights that use the 18650 lion format. Great video, meine freund!🇺🇸🚜🇩🇪❤🙏
Here in H’wood I use a large “motor saw/chain saw” to… 1. fend off unwelcome intruders 2. Offer $2.00, 5 minute, genuine street vendor haircuts on the Boulevard. 3. Mix my pancake mix in the mornings, and… 4. Give myself pedicures every night !!!
You have done it a few times now as when you have a chain saw in your hand a little devil expression shows on your face. You have a load of gear in your house, years of putting ot all together so a good job you mentioned your security system. Weapon protection in the UK is not that advisable these days as if the police are around or get involved no matter what you have in any situation, your one twitch away from being hurt. One situation I was in a Police officer walked to me with a 9mm handgun pulled when I had nothing to hurt anyone with. Anyone in the shame situation, move very slowly and show your hands at all times. They also take the same approach if you have a bow or crossbow or any sort of fixed blade / lock knives with you including Leatherman's. Interesting video Vanessa. Arthur (UK)
Thank you Vanessa; and your Family. We will all survive a disaster..or time of need. Your love and gorgeous person is a amazing gift to us. Much Thanks. Russ.
Vanessa, I know that it is very hard to cover all the products and as I own the Sawyer it possible to connect it to some drinking pouches, standard disposable water bottles, hydration packs, or you can use the straw to drink directly from your water source. Plus, the main thing is to protect it from low temperatures, so it does not freeze. That destroys the filter. One thing to the guns that fire blanks or pepper shots, it's nice but pulling it out in a self-defense situation there is a possibility that the other person pulls out a real gun and that is something you don't want to happen. In some situations, it could help but it could be also counterproductive.
It’s not enough to just own these things. Practice with your gear is also important. I go hiking with everything often. I won’t need 95% for the five miles, but training can save lives. Thanks for sharing
This series has been very informative, and necessary for survival. You made an important point about how weapon laws are highly restrictive in Deutschland. The crossbow from Joerg's channel is very effective with broadhead bolts. I believe the most valuable lesson of today's episode was the water filtration, and storage of potable water. Humans cannot live past three days without water, nor can they survive between one and two months without food. So, water is the most important resource during a crisis, natural disaster, or war. I was very impressed with your Leatherman, and Swiss Army knife collection. You have an excellent supply of batteries too. I can't wait for the food episode! If you are able, please demonstrate a method to sharpen blades if you have bugged out. People who are inexperienced will not keep their knives, axes, and saws clean, but not sharp, or protected from rust. Well Done!
Well done Vanessa, I am really enjoying this series. Thus far I am pretty much in line with your thought process, I feel pretty good at this point. But I well know, now is not the time to become complacent!
Nice video Vanessa! I myself also collect some "outdoor" stuff. I use them too...if only I can find them ! 🤔😂 I've tried organizing it in several different ways, but I'm a hopeless case.🙄 A lot of time is spent looking for, for example, a certain whetstone, knife, and other smaller tools. But, like you, I also get far with a Leatherman (Charge). ❤😁❤🦊
@Crafty McBushface yep, i keep some paper coffee filters with my sawyer, was wondering if a cut of drink bottle would make a good funnel, to put the filter in...
In America we don’t worry about self defense. If we have trouble here, everyone comes together and helps each other. We especially feel sorry for the ones that didn’t prepare and make sure they are cared for first. 😜
It breaks my heart that you youngsters have to think about such things. I am a boomer that has no need to be a prepper as my lungs will kill me without meds long before the issues most prepare for come into play. So sorry for the mess we left behind.
I really appreciated your suggestions for water filtration and storage. This is probably the area where I am most lacking. I have a straw filter similar to the one in this video and two bottles of water purification tablets, but I know that won't be sufficient in a worst case scenario. A rain catchment system like the one you suggested would be beneficial, but unfortunately, they are not permitted in various places here in th US. I suppose that, if needs be, one could try distilling water as a means of purification.
@Crafty McBushface I got a sawyer , I have used bleach to purify water in a boat holding tank , but I used a big filter on the hose to fill it , there are other ways to filter water , if you dig a hole next to a stream or pond the ground will filter it , but if you want good tasting water , use a final filter with charcoal , there is lots of ways to filter or collect water , you can also boil it , but coffee filter and bleach are the simplistic, I even got 10 Cases of bottled water in a dark closet just in case of a hurricane, I also got a Britta that I use everyday for drinking water from the Tap
@Crafty McBushface I not worried about it , I know a dozen different methods , last resorts may be the only thing you can most likely find in the house if your not prepared, almost everyone can come up with a coffee filter (or t-shirt) and a few drops of bleach , but it’s best to be prepared , but sometimes you need water now , when the hurricane hit last month , I had to use my alcohol stove in my apartment, small solar panel to keep my smartphone charged and a flashlight cause even though I didn’t get a direct hit , the power was out for 3 day , but I saved my frozen food just by shear bulk and it didn’t thaw to much, lucky the water didn’t go out , but FEMA has a system for distribution of water and food , I didn’t need it, I sure the west cost of Florida needed it
@Crafty McBushface thanks , but I had so much meat in my freezer it was completely full , but last year I did that , and I had time ( sometimes that the case) and I froze extras for my refrigerator , I’m a bit of a prepper and have enough food for a while , even if I lose my freezer I’m still eating
Vanessa I realize that a person must obey the laws where they live but please me tell what possible use a blank gun is for protecting you? The only thing they can do is make noise. Not very effective if you end up in a situation where you need to kill or disable an antagonist. Thanks for a couple of great videos about crisis preparedness. I hope you are well.
Vanessa, do you know how I can obtain the water filter system in the suitcase here in the USA I would also like to get the manual pump. I was not able to find anything like it here in the states? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
VERY informative video. Thanks Vanessa.
The leatherman is legendary, that little chain saw is cool.
Good mix of product reviews, thanks! 👍
Thank you Vanessa liked your video. Have a great day. 👍👍

Thanks for your honesty in describing what may or may not be needed and if it performs as advertised.
Very good information, I like your approach to this thought of staying safe , warm and dry , food , water, and protect yourself and family !
Thank you, Vanessa! You never disappoint with your videos! Much appreciation from Georgia, USA! Rock on!
You have great taste in music. I would love to see a picture of you with a SG strapped on rockn out like angus😀🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Parabens pelo video 🇧🇷👏
Looks like something James Bond would be sent too dismantle.🤣
❤
Never underestimate a beautiful redhead in a tank top….
Minor point, that sawyer filter wasnt the squeeze it was the mini, the squeeze has slightly better fittings and a cap and faster flowrate,
@Crafty McBushface And so extendable with mods, like prefilters, pumps etc....
@Crafty McBushface yep, i keep some paper coffee filters with my sawyer, was wondering if a cut of drink bottle would make a good funnel, to put the filter in...

You can filter water in a coffee filter and purifi it with 5 drops of bleach per gallon , look it up

Another important thing you forgot to put in this drawer is a white cloth. To make a white flag. That you surrender to the soldiers of Russia
So what happens when TSHF and packs of armed and hungry humans come traveling through your property and they want everything you have ??

Do you have a road map to find what you need in an Emergency?
I thought a Sig Sauer was German birthright 😁
Great job. But I seriously hope you have a actual firearm.
Idol what your rubberboots name
You're so Beautiful
Too bad that you make all these plans and get equipment to survive whatever ‘crisis’ may happen, then have to use toy guns to defend yourself.
Plzz give me your oldrubberboots plzzz
молодец ко всему готова
In this weeedio…..😳😳😳😳
