Oil catch can installation on Hyundai Verna 1.6 crdi diesel turbo. Same can be installed on Hyundai Accent, Solaris, Creta , Elantra, I20, Tuson, Santa Fe Crdi diesel turbo cars of Hyundai.
This is a oil water separator generally used in air compressor. It has a sintered bronze 50 micro filter.

Hyundai Verna 1.6crdi has been extensively modified and is probably the most powerful Verna in the country at the moment. Claimed to be 180Bhp!!!
The list of modifications include Dieseltronic ECU from Racedynamics which increases power and torque upto 30%. It has also got a cold air intake and exhaust cutoff valve and runs on Yokohama 205/55R16 tyres. There is a OBD II in dash display to monitor the engine parameters. Novsight 45W led bulb installed in its projector headlamp which is by far the brightest led available. Brembo brake pads for enhanced braking. The engine has been treated with LiquidMoly Ceratec and uses Mobil1 synthetic engine oil. Rear Spoiler, Sideskirt and Front lip has been added for aesthetic touch.

Why i need to install oil catch cane. Why should not i leave it to ground. I cant understand bcz didnt connect outlet to intake . Its didnt affect performance of engine. I didnt get it thats y asking brifely
Connect to inlet and close... vent out can be direct.. ull lose oil if you vent out
Get bigger container with wider air intake and outlet .... While under boost . Engine can experience excess pressure causing oil leaks from joints and seals in long term

Is there any need to re-circulate the blowby air back to air intake manifold?
To control emmision you need to recirculate.. also, it contains fuel particles, so manufacturer re circulates for efficiency..
1:38 same smoke is comming out from my creta 1.6 crdi. Will the air water seperator vanishes the smoke ? The Smoke is very little but it is very annoying.

No, separator will not vanish smoke from pcv, it will separate the oil only..

Check your dip stick and engine oil cap... check my engine blowby video..
If you have synthetic oil, little smoke comes out, audi, volkswagen uses synthetic oil and little smokes comes out... but hyundai, there should be no smoke...
Check for engine blowby.
Check turbo bearing leak.
What is the reason for this leak?i thought it was because im using thin full synthetic oil (mobil 0w40)now i planning to use 15w40 oil which the hyndai recommends?what is your opinion bro will the leak reduce??
Dont use 15w40, use 15w30 or 5w30.. hyundai recomends 15w30 in fluidic and 5w30 in nexgen verna for Indian weather generally above 28 degrees.. if you are in hill area, hyundai recomends 0w30..
I suggest use of Mobil super 5w30👍, or castrol magnatec or shell helix.... no point using expensive castrol edge or Mobil1
I have just putted a hose and vented PCV to atmosphere, I dont care about oil dripping on the ground, but how to deal with the smoke, because the smoke can be seen comming out from the bonnet. Any idea how to diffuse the smoke, does adding scotchbrite helps in smoke ?
No scotchbirte won't help.. if there is smoke, check your engine for blowby.. you may need engine overhaul. Try removing the dip stick while engine is in running condition. If there is smoke from dip stick, your engine is gone. There should absolutely no smoke from dip stick and engine oil cap when removed while engine is in running condition..
@@afteroffice_yt I am having 2018 creta 1.6 Crdi Diesel and i have done about 22,000km, littel smoke comes when engine heats up just like your Verna.
1. Check smoke from dip stick and engine cap to re-confirm if engine is ok...
2. Use oil catch can and if you are venting out the pipe, make sure to check oil levels.. oil drips reduces oil level in car.. I have just topped up engine oil. Better to recirculate.
3. I also hav a old Creta 1.6crdi diesel and has done 1.17lac kms, there is no smoke.

Holding good till now.. no sign of any damage on the pipe till now..
Why ur not connecting it to the inlet ?
Oil catch can restricts oil... but not 100%.. 99%... so didnt connect to inlet.. intake side will be oil free
I think some oil in turbo is good for the turbo which acts as a coolent or lubricant
Already turbo has oil line for lubrication... this gunk goes into the high speed impeller and abrasion can be noticed over time
Incase you need a catch can, do let me know.. its not very costly, and I have the brass fittings and nylon braided pipe too for verna
