I have a z400 and I’m pretty happy with it. I have anxiety issues and this bike is helping me get past that anxiety and enjoy riding. I’m hoping to overcome my issues and be able to step up my bike game, but for now the z400 works for me
It's a great bike and very fun. I would ride it every day except no cargo space so it doesn't go to the store unless I can put what I need in a backpack.
Go to Walmart and get some Ashwagandha. It works by normalizing gaba receptors in the brain to calm you. My whole family loves it. It doesn't drug you. It's in the Genseng family of herbs. Go ahead you'll thank me.
Riding is a therapy session. Find your routes you like to take, where not too many cages ruin it and let all your crappy thoughts go out the exhaust pipe. Enjoy your Z= Enjoy your life..
I bought my z400 after having some experience riding but never owning my own bike. Gives me plenty of confidence while riding and definitely still has room to grow into as a rider. I’m 6’1 and can’t complain about the ergonomics even after 40mins -1 hour of being on it. 100% would recommend
Yammie being super awesome to the Z400 owner made me smile from ear to ear. It made her day to help put on that slip on. Like he said, little work but huge rewards. I've owned my 2021 Z400 for two years now and it was my first bike. Absolutely my favorite bike and I love every-single-time I get on her and take off on a ride. The only complaint is that seat. Ugh, you can't ride more than twenty minutes without the bum going numb. Thanks Yams and great video!
Not just a beginner bike, a useful multi purpose tool. As the owner of a huge array of bikes, I still pick my 2019 Ninja 400 out to do most things. It does everything I need a bike to do, the rest are fun toys, but the 400 is ace.
This bike is considered a "big bike" here in the Philippines and it's popular amongst people upgrading from a 125/150 scooter. Still filters well in traffic and kind of makes you feel a little more superior than everyone on scooters, and there millions of those over here
that traffic was crazy on my one trip there (around a part of Manila / south of Manila), I walked to four malls past the gridlock traffic / nuts even compared to my Taiwan experience (where people do follow some rules for lights) **keep two wheels down, and stay safe.
The Z400 is actually my second bike (started on a '84 Magna 700) that I picked up as something to commute around town and take through the mountains here when I first moved to Western NC. I absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone looking to learn or for a more seasoned rider as a commuter. It's great both for city riding and riding on the back roads, is fast enough to still be exciting, nimble enough to really dig into a corner, has decent passing power, feels surprisingly planted (unless a truck passes you on the highway being a 364lb naked bike...windscreens help), is still capable for highway riding if you don't mind being in the higher revs, and is friendly enough where its generally very confidence inspiring. Oddly enough, I feel like I've gotten more compliments on this bike than on any other I've owned (albeit from people who don't ride) and my only complaint is with the seat being a bit uncomfortable (which can be easily remedied by an add on or aftermarket seat/seatcover). All-in-all I feel like anyone who picks it up would be pleasantly surprised, it does more than you would expect it to while not pretending to be something more than it is.
My wife and I both have Z400s - bought a year ago - both have right around 1000 miles. My wife is 5' 4" and she is very comfortable on the bike - almost full contact both feet except heels are slightly off the ground. Other bikes she is tippy toes or just one foot. I'm 6'0" and maybe a little small for me but not bad at all. Love the power range - it is very forgiving if you are not in just the right gear. We also put on a Leo Vince exhaust - similar to the one you installed. Agree on the highway it can be a bit droning but in the city on side streets it is great.
I bought one of these in the Philippines. Perfect bike for the Skyway and lane filtering, lane splitting in Manila. Light weight and flickable. Don't need much power there. Just need 400cc to go everywhere. I hate that I ride with friends with BMW GS's as I always have to wait for them. Those are to big of a bike to ride there. I always catch them at the Starbucks.
We can reduce this video to one second: The answer is yes (perfect beginner bike). A great beginner bike isn't about speed, it's about money and weight. Some riders start with something expensive and/or heavy, and then they're afraid to drop it. That fear prevents learning.
Just a note regarding what you said about the suspension being stiff and having no sag for you, that means it's setup for a heavier rider, not a lighter rider like you said. So if you got no sag on it and she is lighter than you then she needs to soften it up heaps. She will be hitting bumps and the suspension won't be moving
This is my first bike. Had it about 5 months now commute to work on it almost everyday and ride around town and some rural twisty roads. Totally love it. I’m prob a tad tall for it at 6’1” but I’m not on it long enough to get uncomfortable. This makes a GREAT first bike
Thanks for making this video. I’m a proud owner of a 2022 Z400 and so far I’m loving it. Hope you can make an in-depth review and recommend some add-on hardware for this thing. I’m not big on having a loud bike though so no exhaust mods for me! I like the stock exhaust. Keep up making all these great videos!!
Just bought this as my first sport bike coming from a scooter. Definitely the perfect starter sport bike for me - not too big, not too heavy, but with adequate power for city and highway riding.
Australian here so yes we have license restrictions. This is why I chose between 3 bikes... the MT-03, the Duke 390, and the Z 400... I chose the 400 and I KNOW I made the right decision (for me). I'm about a year away from my full unrestricted license and I don't think i'll be upgrading straight away anyway. I LOVE MY 400 !! Recommend highly for anyone thinking about getting into the 2 wheel life. Peace from Down Under
Hey I'm from Australia and the bikes you mentioned are what I need to choose from for my first bike in Australia. I have ridden 200cc back home a lot. I have a full license in Australia but still not really interested in the big bikes or maybe I should be
I bought a Z400 as a second bike to ride around town. I absolutely love this bike. I find myself riding it much more than my cruiser. Its so easy to ride and flick around. So not just a beginner bike, but even an around town bike for someone who has been riding for a while.
Just picked up a Z400 as my first bike a couple weeks ago, and absolutely love it! It just functions perfectly, as I do mostly in-town commuting with a bit of joy riding on the weekends. An exhaust is a must, but I'm definitely going with a baffle option since I have nice neighbors, and I have to leave for work at 4:30 am.
I have a 2022 z400 and love it. I hadn't been on a bike for about 10 years so bought this to get reacquainted. I use it for work commute and short 30 - 60 min rides. Great all around bike peppy and fun to ride
I love my Z 400. I raised the handlebars, purchased a seat cover and put miners Moss between the seat cover and the seat. now my vital parts aren’t slammed against the tank and I have a little more leg space. I also put a Ventura rack on it and Perelli scorpion tires on it to make it a little scrambler bike. The Kawasaki Z 400 is perfect for around town which most motorcycles are used for anyway. another thing I like about it is that the turn signals and all the switchgear is right where all the 70s bikes I grew up with are. The only drawback is that you can feel every bump in the road. Sometimes that’s good sometimes that’s bad
Have a '21 z400 for about 2 years now. 3rd bike and it's by FAR my favorite! 12k miles and counting (it's my daily) I have a different Leo slip on (GP CORSA EVO) and a great mod for experienced riders is a the r6 throttle tube. Makes the throttle feel much more responsive.
Bought for my first bike, would recommend to absolutely anyone getting into the game. I'm 6'3 and it still makes for a very comfortable ride, also put on a Leo but with a baffle and I love it.
I have a z400 in same cool color. My first bike. 10k on it. Love it! I have stock exhaust but looking to get a slip on but not a crazy super loud one. Great bike. Can easily do 85 on Freeway here in AZ. No complaints besides hard seat but you get used to it. Also gripping tank with legs helps problem of sliding into tank. Only 5k brand new , less than a lot of high end bicycles which is crazy. I have had zero issues with it. Starts every time and I changed my own oil in between the services. I am not mechanically inclined but it was about as complicated as changing out a few light bulbs. Super easy. Also ABS, slipper clutch and LED headlights are super safety features often overlooked in reviews. Great video! Also HONK Sound of Intake is really cool like you mentioned on ninja 400!
I bought a z400 as my 2nd bike, coming from a 04 ninja 250. I hadn't ridden in about 10 years prior to purchasing the z but I noticed how much of a massive leap forward th 400 is from the old 250
I used the z400 for a while, coming from a Honda PCX 160cc with its 15nm torque, did not expect the power to weight ratio to be more manageable than I expected. I can feel the full power of it once I managed to let it sing through its gears hahaha
Z400 owner in Australia here! Love it. Perfect beginner bike for me, plenty fast enough to keep it interesting, easy to operate. Im starting to feel need for a 4cyl though 😅
And then you'll be bored with that. With our speed limits and strict point system there's really no point to get anything faster unless you have advanced track skills. Comfort and cost is more important here
Ninja 400 has been a great beginner bike for me. I’ve been able to learn a lot on it. Very easy to learn low and high speed maneuvers. Gotten great at tight turns and even learned to drag knee. Has more than enough power, you can get arrested for felony speeds on any road you want still. It’s a great bike to learn on for cheap and step up to a bigger bike later. Leo Vince GP Corsa Evo exhaust is great sounding for $210 and I like it btw.
I've started on a Ducati 796 which is awesome on longer rides but not great in town... I might go to something like this as a better all rounder next year...
Jesse from Austin tx. I have a z400 and I love it. Put sw motech crash bars on it. (Haven’t had to use em) bar end mirrors. And the taller puig windscreen. I love the green and black look and put a super cheap slip on. It goes fast enough and handles city roads. Runs about 7-8 k rpm at 75mph on the high way. It’s loud af and I need ear plugs now. I put saddle bags on it. It’s my first bike and had it about 2 years. I feel like a z900 or zh2 are my go to future wish bikes. Although I have so much I can still learn from this low cc bike I am reluctant to ever let it go. Thank you for making a video on the little z.
I actually bought this bike in May of 2021 after taking a msf course 2years and learned on it basically lol. Its my daily and my only transportation. Got about 6500+ miles on it now. Personally as a 5'3 110 lb female it is perfect. Granted I have pretty long legs, but I can basically flat foot it, It's got torque, its lightweight and nimble, the clutch is easy (think it helped with the learning curb), and it just is a great bike. Don't think I've outgrown the power either. But I do want another bike for sure. Won't get rid of it tho. Like ever lol.
5 weeks of owning mine, I really did my homework on what was the best & ideal suited beginner bike. Plus, something to live with long term til you graduate to a larger displacement. I feel like you hit all the key points from it's ergonomics, power & weight. For someone who is new to riding & have anxiety of the learning curve, along with the possible risk of riding. You can truly do wayyyy worse. Plenty of aftermarket options & affordability. 1st thing I did was exhaust, fender eliminator, sliders, & levers. I've added a few other little aesthetic, but functional mods. Couldn't be happier with my investment. I'm beginning to crave more power. Yet, I'm all about gaining as much knowledge & skill of proper riding before leaping to my dream bike... Aprilia RSV4 1100 🏍️😍
I couldn’t be more happy with my z400. I’m so glad I opted for a naked 400 over a ninja since it’s my first bike and I used it as my daily for the whole summer
I bought one in March 2022, I've got 3,400 miles on it. Great bike and recommended for everyone. I did fender eliminator, TST industries lights, and a leo vince slip on.
I love my Z400. However, at 3200 miles the clutch blew up. No warning, no noise, just boom. Been in the shop for 2 months waiting on parts. I went on the z400 subreddit and they said the clutch springs are soft, and that tends to happen. Excellent bike, other than the hand grenade in the clutch.
Got my Z400 a few months ago, put a Leo slip-on on plus a couple other mods. Absolutely in love with it as my first bike. I'm 5'8" and can flatfoot very easily
Gotta be close.. especially if you're riding solely on pavement. I also love the colors on her bike in particular. It looks great with that teal and black. The color I'm buying in the KLX 300sm.
@@DENIEL1908 higher maintenance costs, older bike, no warranty, no abs for a lot of models, less torque meaning it's easier to stall. It's a great bike I disagree it's quite as perfect as the kawasaki for the first bike role
@@chrispekel5709 New bike for a beginner is not the best imo, also z400 cost almost 3 times the price of a 2005ish cb400, and cb400 has 39 nm of torque, so if you stall that, you need more practice not stronger bike. If you can spend the price (almost here) of a cb650r for a two-cyl 400cc bike, then ok, do it. :D
I've owned a '21 for about 2700 miles. I am a 6" 34" inseam. It's a small bike with a very underpadded seat, so after an hour it gets a bit uncomfortable. Highway is fine, though winds can really push you around. Shifting is fine, good bike to learn how to clutchless shift also. Stock mirrors are horrendous for placement, I got some risers off ebay so I can stop seeing only my arms in the mirrors. It's fine for pace, but is strong under 55-60, above which you do notice the lower power.
I got the 2020 Z400 as my first bike this summer and put 2k KMs on it from July. It's a really light bike, powerful enough for beginning bike IMO, easy maintenance as it's naked and the only bad part is I'm going to have to put it away soon for winter.
@@davidgesell Yup but taking it out when the good weather comes in spring will feel awesome. We're already at 4 degrees each night where I am. Had our first frost too recently
I used this bike while getting my A2 license but for me the bike was way too small in terms of size (not at least on power), so I decided to buy a 2020 Street Triple S (45hp, restricted engine) and I couldn't be happier with it! Just perfect, the handlebars are pointing outwards more than the Z, as I felt they were too close to my body, as well as my knees which I had serious pain while being more than an hour riding it. I'm 1,76m, so not very tall tbh.
I’m 1,78m. I was considering the z400 because I’ll get my A2 license this fall. Have you had any experience with other small cc bikes like the duke 390 or mt-03 in terms of size? Or would you recommend going for a bigger (restricted) bike like you did?
@@nulla9601 I have also ridden a CB300R (which I didn't like much) and a CBR500R (cool bike but suspension was too soft). If I were you, I would go for a bike that looks good for you, and in terms of power depends on your experience. I have 5 years of experience driving cars every day and although the Triumph felt fast at first, I was able to handle it. Just buy the bike you want, in the end it's your money and your likes, so you will enjoy it for sure!
@@davidzavala337 When i got my CB500X, I jumped on it as soon as the 2022 model was announced back in February. Deposit payed Feb. 12, and took possession of one of the first in my home state on April 21st. I remember calling once and asking how long the wait list was and i was 2nd in line of a list of over 40 people. I got lucky that guy #1 couldn't come pick up in a timely fashion and they passed him over for me.
Crissy sounds like a very shy and introverted lovely woman, I hope she gets even more comfortable with this bike, that thing is beautiful and the noise is definitely purrrrrfect, with that new slip-on almost sounds like a Bobcat or a Cheetah, which are very confident creatures Awesome bike, very reliable for a beginner
I have a Z400 I bought this spring to learn more agility and skills, it's my 4th bike. I'm planning on selling it again in the spring and going with a long term middleweight bike. The Z400 is fantastic to learn on. It's very agile, the clutch and gearbox are smooth and easy, it has enough power for the expressway and it's just fun as heck. I *just* retired and will be moving to a midrange street bike to supplement the VStrom which gets long distance and light offroad duties. Having trouble deciding between an MT07, CB650R, Tiger 660 Sport, or a 700CL-X Sport. I think any would be good. I'd prefer non-Chinese but getting cruise control for < $7000 is appealing and I think it's a sweet looking bike right out of the crate. I prefer as quiet a bike as possible personally.
Own a 2021 Z400 and put close to 6k miles on it and really enjoyed absolutely everything about it. Recommend you buy a mid level windshield because although you might feel the wind a bit more, it wont look as goofy on the bike. Upgrading soon to a MT07 or Street triple:D
I started on a Z400 and did the exact same thing to it with a Leo Vince slip-on. Just sold it last week and just bought a Triumph T-120. All I need now is the hipster mustache wax
I demo rode a z400 and actually enjoyed it. The little power it does have was very useable. I felt way more confident than I did on the MT07. I had no confidence in the front end of the MT, it felt sketchy like it was going to wash out on me. The Z400 felt great. Personally I’m still going to buy another MT09. I’ve owned 5 different bikes and go to all the demo rides I can, and after every bike I’ve ever ridden, the MT09 is my favorite. But the Z felt really good too.
I’ve been looking for a first bike and have been obsessing over the MT07 for a few months now. Did it ultimately just feel like it had too much torque?
@@javonfranklin5358 no, the engine was fine. I did not like the feel of the front end. The front felt to light and I didn’t feel any grip from the front tire. The bike leaned over good and held the road, but I just couldn’t feel it. I’m sure lots of people don’t even notice, but I have always been good with a sense of feeling through the suspension. For me, I just didn’t have the confidence and would not get it. To riders who aren’t as sensitive or maybe with some suspension tweaks it’s probably fine. I have owned and love the MT09 and I did like the engine in the 07. But not the suspension.
@@javonfranklin5358 don’t fall for the “you will grow out of it” line. The 400 was a great ride when I test rode one. Slower bikes are still faster than 90% of cars on the road and are a lot of fun. To me, they are more fun because the engines and speeds are easier to handle. You can get more out of the bike with less risk. If you want to play around you can still wheelie a 400, you can do well at a track day with it too. If you want to have fun without being scared, then you won’t “grow out” of it.
just recently bought a 2022 z400 with about 6.7k miles it has that one amazon exhuast that wants to be the yoshi but i love the bike after adding the puig windshield
I bought my z400 new 2 years ago and have over 6k miles on it. I use it as a daily commuter. My commute doesn't take me on a free way so it is perfect. I did my tail tidy before I got a coffman exhaust.
I’ve been riding for about 5 years in Thailand and I got a Z400 2022 about 6 months ago and ride it everyday here in Bangkok, Thailand and it’s incredible for city streets. Thinking of doing some basic mods to make her look and sound a little better.
The Z400 is a fantastic beginner bike, as well as a bike for riders looking to downsize. Very spunky, however the seat positioning could use a little tweak (too much forward slant). Any other suggestions regarding replacing the stock pipe? Now time to hunker down for hurricane Ian. Ride safe and be safe everyone!
I actually like the sound of the stock exhaust really. I put the exact same windscreen she has on my bike as well, and removed the bug eye mirrors which were absolutely unusable after about 45 mph due to vibrations. Other than that, it's an amazing bike.
@@shaunchew25 it's because the whole bike is exactly the same tank back as the ninja 400 sport bike which includes the seat which is for a more leant over position. I want a better seat to fix that and also some bar risers and maybe different foot pegs.
Here's to hoping you got the Z400. It would be a bike you could hold onto longer than the other two. The Honda only crawls at speeds above 60mph so I'd avoid it unless u get a steal.
I have a 2019 z400 for about 6-7 months and I use it for committing to work and it's super great noting super fast but fun enough to go highway speeds and gas saver love it 😀
Had a Z400 back in the Early Eighties, Green, of course Green.....rode from Tidewater ( Hampton Roads ), Hampton, Two-up, to Manhattan and Back. Able to squeeze ALMOST or ABOUT 90 mph ( 2-up ) on I-95. Tks. much.
I love mine. I've put 12k on it in less than 2 years. Just had the ECU flashed and am painting it at the moment. Funnest bike ever and super cheap to buy as well as own.
I started on 2017 CB500F and it was stolen after first few years so replaced it with 2019 Z400 so that I wasn’t going back into any financing. The Z has been so much fun, and I plan to keep it a while longer even though I could move up to a 600-900 naked bike.
one small tip for audio on gopro. If you wanna make sure the internal or externally connected gopro mic is working just use the voice command to start it up . if it works your mic will record properly.
DFW area Z400 rider. I love my little bike. Got the ecu flashed by a company that focuses on and races small cc bikes. It made quite the difference in on/off throttle feel, and acceleration. I get some small pops and crackles on the decel. It'd be awesome to see what a z400 could do on track. *cough cough content idea cough cough**
I'm a fatass (290lbs) that rides a ZRX1200R, I recently did a Kawi demo day and they had a Z400 that nobody was paying much attention too, I decided to take it for a spin because why not, I was there to ride bikes. Let me tell you the Z400 easily put the biggest smile on my face of the bikes I demoed that day, the thing was a riot to throw around and wring out, it had plenty of power! I also rode the new KLR, Z900RS (I also liked a lot, but too similar to my Rex), the Z650RS, and the Ninja 1000SX.
I really want to Buy this bike, i have a lot of experience with a Kymco agility scooter, and a honda 125cc Twister, now looking for My first bike ando i'm not sirenita going SPORT naked or miniadventure. I'm considering z400, duke 390, 401 or cb500f, OR Versys 300cc, adventure 390, cb500x This video and the comments got me 90-95% convinced for the z400.
I’m 6’8 and on a z400 and I’m chillin , took it on dirt roads and stuff even with slick tires, stupid idea ik but the bike is chillin , things a beast especially for a starter bike around college, good acceleration but not fast enough to do something stupid
I bought a z400 at the beginning of the summer and I love it! great for when i first started and its just as fun for when i started to pick up on the pace on twisty roads, replace the tires with some more sporty tires and this thing is so good! I have some Rossa 3's on and the flick in was lightning fast and holds a line really well even on more bumpy roads. Clutch feel is nice at frist but you will wish you had stiffer springs and a upgraded clutch plates if you find yourself at wot alot like I do.
I bought it in 2019 and still have my ex demo 2019 Z400 ABS as my first bike in Australia and still love it - this was the first year for the Z400 with the previous year being the 300. I only paid A$6500 which was in line with the Yamaha MT03 and CFmoto 650. Before I got it I test rode a Yamaha MT03 and found that with its less displacement and more upright position less exciting than the Z which felt like it just wanted to lean in the corners and had way more pep - I'd only ridden a few 125cc scooters and a 150cc scooter in Asia before that but have had pretty quick cars before. One thing I don't like about the bike is the seat is terrible that after 40mins of riding I'm sore so hopefully I can upgrade that for a reasonable price. Also I did buy that windscreen in the video but found with my hight 5'10" 179cm it directed air directly into the middle of my helmet making the wind noise much worse than without the screen. For mods the dealer hacked on a Scorpion carbon fibre slip-on that must have been for another bike, but sounds good - see video on my channel. It's also got a mustard bikes Aussie made Fender eliminator, sticker kit for the black wheels, rear bobbins and radiator guard.
The heavier you are the more preload needed. If it was hard for you it is like a cinderblock for her. You should have adjusted it and softened up for her. She would enjoy the ride a lot better if it was try to crush her vertebrae
I have a straight piped Royal Enfield bullet500. It was built that way by Fort Worth Royal Enfield for a bike show. It's so loud that even with earplugs it's too loud.
Z500 is a perfect bike for a beginner and an experienced rider. 51 horsepower and 32 ft lbs torque at 367 pounds wet! Thats a noticeable step up from the Z400 (+4 torque + 4 hp). In Europe they detune them 6 horsepower cuz of liberal regulations so not worth it in Europe. But in America a Z500 is a solid bike that can do it all and if that bike was available when I was a beginner I would absolutely buy it. In fact im thinking of buying a new 2025 SE Z500 cuz it's so fun and really great to perfect skills on.

The only thing I hate about that bike is that it ain’t passenger friendly
@@mr.screenshot9452 I know, I wish it had a banana seat. It's not ideal to cruise a lady two up.
Looking to get either this bike or a Ninja 400 for daily Skyway commutes! Seems like a perfect option for Filipino roads
@@mr.screenshot9452 I am wondering why they haven't done a RS? Long seat, more suspension and possibly a bit more power.
@@j_laf9575 I looked at the Kawi Dominar too. Not bad for $3500 US dollar.

Did you have to get your motorcycle license to ride it?
im 6,5 and im about to get one lol
I have a full license in Australia but still not really interested in the big bikes or maybe I should be
@@allwynmasc1 just pick the bike that makes you feel good mate 🤟😎

I bought a Z400 as a second bike to ride around town. I absolutely love this bike. I find myself riding it much more than my cruiser. Its so easy to ride and flick around. So not just a beginner bike, but even an around town bike for someone who has been riding for a while.
Nothing better than seeing somebody happy with an upgrade!
How much u payed for the bike?
@@doblestruck2531 It was a salvaged bike under 5000 miles for 3500
Have a '21 z400 for about 2 years now. 3rd bike and it's by FAR my favorite! 12k miles and counting (it's my daily)
I have a different Leo slip on (GP CORSA EVO) and a great mod for experienced riders is a the r6 throttle tube.
I bought this bike just a few months ago I don’t think I could imagine a better bike I absolutely love it
Z400 owner in Australia here! Love it. Perfect beginner bike for me, plenty fast enough to keep it interesting, easy to operate. Im starting to feel need for a 4cyl though 😅
And then you'll be bored with that. With our speed limits and strict point system there's really no point to get anything faster unless you have advanced track skills. Comfort and cost is more important here
The only time I think the 400 wouldn't be enough is if you want to tour with luggage and a passenger on the freeway

Ive had mine for about a year and a half. absolutely love it. good ergos, enough power, and reliable.
Very comfortable bike too. And you can tuck in when needed. Riding 1000 miles a month for a bit on this bike and you’ll learn a lot.
I absolutely love riding this bike. Though I’ve only had it for a couple months it’s still a very enjoyable ride.
That looks and sounds so good👏 Great job being a helping mechanic dad and encouraging pappa Yamm!
How much did you get it for?
I have a 2019 with an Akrapovic and a quickshifter. 63,200 KM on it and no problems of any kind. Those tings are bullet proof. 🙂
The arrow slipon was the best pick for me. It's really a sweet spot in terms of loud but not too loud, and sounds great.
I say this time and time again, the Z 400 is the perfect beginner bike. Hands down.
CB 400 SF, hands down.
Gotta be close.. especially if you're riding solely on pavement. I also love the colors on her bike in particular. It looks great with that teal and black. The color I'm buying in the KLX 300sm.
Cb500F no regrets, also im not a beginner :)
Dreading putting it away. I love it so much!! Here in Illinois i have about the rest of October and that'll be it for me.

I remember calling once and asking how long the wait list was and i was 2nd in line of a list of over 40 people. I got lucky that guy #1 couldn't come pick up in a timely fashion and they passed him over for me.

Crissy sounds like a very shy and introverted lovely woman, I hope she gets even more comfortable with this bike, that thing is beautiful and the noise is definitely purrrrrfect, with that new slip-on almost sounds like a Bobcat or a Cheetah, which are very confident creatures
Awesome bike, very reliable for a beginner
Upgrading soon to a MT07 or Street triple:D
also you can comfortably carry people with this bike, just not for long long distances because the backseat is a bit uncomf
Curious to know if you've considered moving to a z8/900 instead of the mt?
Just bought a z400 today and I've been loving it!
yamie was so professional. one of my coolest Brazilians on the Tube.
I’m afraid of getting a z400 and growing out of it too quickly

Nice segment. She seemed genuinely excited by the upgrade
I'd personally like to see more of the z400 in your next videos, thanks
love your videos man
Z500 is a perfect bike for a beginner and an experienced rider.
This bike deserves a much better review and complete look around etc.
I actually just got a z400, put ab9ut 1k miles so far, it's so much fun tbh
One of my buddies has a z400 as his first bike, it's a lot of fun without being too fast
