Your photography here is exceptional, young lady! I agree with Heavy Cream & Butter for a rich desert-dough..Wow...💖
YES!!! My husbands favorite and something I plan to have the ingredients to make. Comfort food.
Those look delicious.!!!!!!!!!!
My grandma grew up in the depression and was one of eight children ,her mother died when she was young and she quit school to take care of her Seven Brothers abd the farm. She baked everything, and grew up in the holler of Virginia. Her cinnamon rolls were coveted in our family❤️ and she made each child her six ,a dozen cinnamon rolls every Christmas. It was one of the many Hallmarks of her love. Whenever I see cinnamon rolls I think of my grandma🙂❤️. She was a simple, loving, God-fearing Christian woman who could create things in the kitchen it seemed out of thin air with very little ingredients. She also canned food ,put up quarts, always had a garden. In her kitchen she always had a coffee can filled with bacon grease and on the side a concoction of coffee grounds and eggshells she would throw out in her garden along with vegetable scraps for compost. As a child I always thought that was gross and I didn't understand why she kept them there instead of throwing them out except to see her use the bacon grease for cooking. She was also handy with a needle and thread. Made her children's clothes and skirts, quilts from her children's clothes and material that was left over. Down two stuffed toys for the church Bazaar. She also made me the most fantastic Barbie clothes that were ever imaginable. In one room there was always a large quilting frame which she would work on in the evenings or during the day when she had time I tried to learn what I could from her but if I could go back in time I have so many questions and so much more to learn in these times we live in. Thank you Patera for evoking my grandma's memory to my mind today🌬 I can almost smell her cinnamon rolls and yeast rolls😊
thank you for sharing this.Beautiful story of your Grandma
@@reneepattillo3101 thank you😊🙏❤️
Your grandmother sounded like a very wonderful person. Thank you for sharing this memory; brought tears to my eyes. ❤️❤️
@@crochetgottaloveit 😊🙏❤️ thank you for your lovely comment
Sounds like my grandmother I wish I had taken the time to learn more from her. Thank you for your story brings back memories 💖
Patara.. This is my photo. I am 80 years old. I watch you all the time. Love your channel. Anyway, I made these cinnamon rolls today. Oh wow. So easy. What made me finally do it is I bought the whipping cream this last week and thought. "Oh oh. I better make these now." So fun. Thank you!
I made my own whipping cream. 1/2 stick melted butter to one cup of milk. They are in the oven now. Thanks Patera! Love your channel. Keep looking up! ❤️
Thank you for sharing this it is very kind of you. Do you let the melted butter cool a bit before whipping it into the milk?
@@hummingwind8869 I melted the butter in the microwave for one minute. Then, I let it rest for a minute. Poured the butter into the milk. Mixed and set aside in the refrigerator until I was ready to add it. Yes.
Thank you so much because we haven’t had heavy cream in our store forever. Hugs from Wyoming ❤️
My wife made these for me, no more store bought cinnamon rolls, A big thumbs up
Fastest click ever on your cinnamon roll video! Thank you so much!
and so I returned to this video to leave a comment😁 Burn it to learn it just became a real lesson.... haven't set off smoke alarms in years and years but windows currently open at 50 degrees to clear it-actual smoke- out. I was so excited for a quick no yeast recipe that I failed to check the size of my cast iron griddle so that butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon etc dripped into the bottom of the oven at 450. The rolls didn't burn but buddy oh boy have I made a mess and no less than three people have walked in to ask "what is on fire?" The cinnamon rolls Taste delicious even through the haze🤣😂🤣😂
Heaven and earth! Thank you! Those are amazing! I went to the kitchen right after this video and made them and my husband was blown away! Hi From Tampa, FL!
I giggled when I saw your clothes pin on your bag... my friends laugh at me. I love you Patara. God Bless
Husband: I thought we were on a diet?
Me: yeah but Patara made cinnamon rolls! 😂
Gotta allow treats... 😊
Haha! Good one 😂
😂sounds like the conversation at our house!
Same here!
Hubs on a diet: “Where are the brownies??”
Hi from Florida. Great cinnamon rolls. That looks like my mess. Thanks for sharing food and farm with us. Its a hard time and a lot of info is" heavy" but needed. The food ,farm, family and faith keep us grounded. Your mix and comments from viewers let us feel a unity that we all need. Thanks for the encouragement.
Dental floss works perfect for cutting the rolls. Just slide it up under the rolls, bring both ends up, cross over and cut threw roll, repeat. No squishing the rolls ❤️
Yummy! Cinnamon rolls are my favorite!
Thank You Patara for your Cinnamon rolls. Butter, Butter, Butter ... Love, Love, Love, it. ❤️ Mary ~ Oklahoma
Oh, these are biscuit based cinnamon rolls. Yum!
Thanks Patara. I've been waiting for this! Yum! :^) Have a Blessed week!
I love cinnamon rolls.
Thank you so much for sharing! 🤗🤗🤗
Oh my gosh my mom made these and we all ( all ten of us kids) loved them! They were such a treat. Sometimes instead of icing them, she would make a brown sugar butter syrup and set them in it to bake which made them sticky on the bottom. I will make these this week and enjoy with some coffee!
I love cinnamon rolls no matter how they’re made or the ingredients. I’ve made with box mix, Bisquick, crescent rolls in the can, but my favorite is the bread recipe from my bread machine with a little more sugar added and a dash of cardamom in the dough. I grew up on cinnamon toast! Didn’t everyone?
Cardamom???
Cinnamon toast is the best!
@@hummingwind8869 with lots of butter and rolled up! I could eat a loaf of those as a kid! 😂😂😂
Lol...almost 70 and I'm doing it. Thank you Patara.
Oh Patara, you do keep me busy. My husband saw the tumbnail pop up for this video yesterday and asked me no less than a dozen times when I was going to make them. Then when I went to bowling last night my son said to me, "So, when are you going to make Patara's cinnamon rolls?" He thought it would be a great idea if I made them this morning so he could take them out to the ice shack with him. Everything is now on the counter and ready to go. Thanks so much for all the great videos and recipes!!!
They look delicious. I make my with yeast because I like the taste of yeast. I also make my cinnamon rolls at Christmas time and give them to our local police department and fire department. I have been doing this with my grandchildren for several years and we take them to each station and sing Christmas carols. I am so thankful for the police and the firefighters for taking care of our community. God bless you and your family! Your friend in Harriman GaGa🥰❤️🤍💙🇺🇸💒🚜
I used to make cinnamon rolls as a girl with my mom. Thanks for the memeries.
Hello Patara. I also enjoy making cinnamon rolls. When I'm ready to place the rolls into the oven I brush butter on top. An extra step I love to take. I'll make your rolls soon and have my family enjoy them. I'll need to double this recipe! We're 11, all together. Be well and be safe.
🥰
Thank you for adding some sweetness to our day! We all need some of this real life joy!!
I love you so much, sister. You bring so much light to this world. Thank you for being you.
Looks so good along with a cup of coffee ☕

Patara you make my day, every day. Those cinnamon rolls look amazingly delicious 😋.
And out those seven ingredients the most important and best is that it was made with love.

My granddaughter watched with me. She wants us to make them today. We will shortly. Thank you ❤
Thanks for the cooking lesson always love learning ….God bless ❤🤗🤗🤗🤗🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
These look YUMMY !!!
Thank you for keeping it real. You can tell a good cook by the mess in the kitchen. Yummy!
Yummy! Sharing this! Thanks & be blessed❣️❣️
Love this thanks!!! Wanted to share a beloved so easy recipe of our family - SUPER EASY 3 ingredient Alfredo sauce!
For 2 people- so adjust for taste or how many people you have-
Melt 1 tbsp butter in large sauce pan over med heat. Stir in about a cup of heavy whipping cream. Add a little Italian seasoning here if you want, or not if don’t. Stir in about a cup of shredded Parmesan cheese. Add in your cooked noodles or ravioli & eat. Not that you will have left overs, but this does not reheat well because it is real food, no non clump agents.
Thank you, now that is a sauce that I can get behind. Appreciate you sharing it.
You’re welcome! I love this channel & seeing everyone’s comments & recipes too
Make our Alfredo in the same way! For added creaminess we sometimes add cubes of softened cream cheese to the melted butter and stir until smooth and blended. We also love with blackened grilled chicken and steamed fresh broccoli. 😋
Oh my, those look delicious 🤗🙏✝️ Ty, Patara. ❣️
You are Amazing in da kitchen Love ya you doing you thanks for everything you do
Patara just an idea for cutting the cinnamon rolls without smushing them while cutting. Use dental floss instead, cuts right through the dough much easier. I saved the recipe. Thank you.
I do this only I use sewing thread - but basically anything like that would work.
Blessings from Florida Patara and family! Wishing I had one of those rolls to go with my coffee.
Keep smiling 👍❤
Whew girl I can’t wait to make these. I just had major neck/chest surgery last week, I’m giving this a shot tomorrow. The dough doesn’t look that hard to roll out. These look so amazing thank you for sharing. God bless.
Good home cooking! Looks so good and I'm sure your house smells amazing. God bless you.
Something wonderful about the smell of cinnamon 😋 thanks hun!!!🌄❤️ blessings to you!
Looks delish….yum!!
Wow Patara that’s easy!! I’m going to buy a skillet so I can make ‘em like you. I like the way you make your icing. Thank you for the recipe. Baking is stressful. But the end result is worth it!
I’m definitely going to try these! The only difference is, I’ll add chopped pecans. Thanks Patara!❤️👏
I use thread to cut my rolls. Just lay your dough on it pull the ends up and over the dough. It cuts it great perfect everytime. Love your channel, I really enjoy watching and agree with you all the way. God bless!!
Made these. So easy and soooooo delicious!!! Awesome recipe. Thanks Patara!
Patera, I just have to thank you for this fantastic recipe. I made 2 batches, one to eat and one for the freezer. It is so easy, so impressive, and the taste delicious. Thank you once again. Love from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤️
Finally made this and I appreciate you taking the time to show all of us 🥰
Sho looks good!! Thank you.
My grandma had flour all over the kitchen floor, that’s when you know they were good!
Watching you cut the rolls took me back to watching my mom make the same mess on our kitchen table. The smell in the house was heaven. And the smell and feel of her hands when she finished was sooooo comforting. THANK YOU!
Getting ready to try this now. Just need to pick up the cream & icing ingredients…I have a massive stash of all the ingredients thanks to you
Those look delicious!
Amazing recipe!!!!!!!! Thanks Patara! You rock !!!!
Hi Patera! Love your channel. I watched this with my almost 2 year old little girl and we loved watching you make these. She was asking me to make these and wanted to watch you cook more. Thank you for sharing your recipes!
Nice to have a lighter subject today. Look sooo tasty!!
I love the cinnamon roll in the middle of the pan! It’s always the ooeiest gooeiest! It appears that you have a good one there! Gonna try these one day soon!
Looks absolutely amazing!!!!!
I'm making these on a smaller skillet. One batch for us and one for our elderly widowed neighbor. Thank you
Oh my! We already had breakfast but looks like I'll be making these anyway! Lol
Thats great! Looks so good, thank you.
Was waiting on this all day yesterday. I must've gotten my days wrong. 🤣. So glad I have every ingredient on hand. Making as soon as I watch
Those cinnamon rolls look really delicious! If I hadn't already just baked banana walnut bread, orange cranberry quick bread, a loaf of white bread is rising, a homemade peanut butter pie just put in refrigerator a little while ago and.......about to make my famous homemade lasagna, then I would make those cinnamon rolls right now! But just wait a day or two and I will! Thanks Patara!
Thank you for showing us how to make things from scratch! Please keep them coming I am learning alot and writing them down so we'll have them to pass down to children.
Looks so much easier than my method caint wait to try this thanks Patera
Those look Heavenly! Can hardly wait to make them!! Thank you, Patara!!❤❤😋😋
Oh my! Those look amazing!😍
Thank you for taking your time to show us how to make these...gonna try this !!
Made this recipe and they are awesome!!! I will definitely keep this one!! Thank you!!
Yummy ! You make it look easy! You’re the best! God bless you!
Wish I had a ' Smell-a-vision' app so I could enjoy that tantalizing aroma !!
Cannot wait to give it a try! You are truly an inspiration!
….and there you have it. You’re right…easy peasy. Thank you kindly ❤
I know what I'm making my babies for valentine breakfast! thank you for the video
I just put on my bathing suit. Gonna go for a swim in that butter! Yum!
Another fantastic desert video in the fight against Food Fatigue! Thank you...🇺🇸 😎👍☕
They look delicious ....for a minute I thought I could actually smell them ...lol. Enjoy them !!!
I love this dough for biscuits! Now I'll have to try making these rolls!
Thank you. This was a lifesaver. Grabbed a pie plate at g.w. and just made for my walking friend whose father is in hospital end stages of cancer. Perfect treat to warm her soul....
P.s. I always grab an extra pie plate or casserole at the g.w. to not worry about getting back.
So easy this is my new go to to give with prayers.
LOVE this recipe. Easy and yummy. Thank you!!!
Does anyone remember Shakey's Pizza back in the 70s? We used to make cinnamon rolls like this with the pizza dough. Joy!
Hmmmm, I think I must do this tomorrow! Thank you, they look lovely.
Yum! Dibs on the center piece!
My cast iron is gonna get so much busier. Thanks for bringing simple back.
Thanks for sharing your recipe. You brighten my day :)
I love making my own brown sugar with organic cane sugar and molasses. Haven't purchased brown sugar for years. 🤠🥰 Those rolls look amazing!!!
I do that, too. Also use Panela sugar, which is unrefined organic cane sugar, so similar to brown sugar. I buy it from Healthy Traditions online.
PATERA,i love you and your videos you are so informative and entertaining you make beautiful delicious food.❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing and showing the steps of your recipe. ❤ Your cinnamon rolls look delicious. I will try to make it and will tell you how it went. ☺️
Looking good. Thanks Patara.
My favorite comfort food. 😋
Looks delicious 😋. I'm going to make these this week. Thank you.
Good morning my dear ! Love cinnamon rolls ! Heavy whipping cream is a must in my freezer !
Oh yes!
How do you freeze it?
@@caitlinrianna2198 Yes. How? I thought that cream would separate when frozen.
@amanda foreman How do you freeze it?
@@KrafTlady61 I just stick the container in the freezer . When ready to use , thaw overnight and use as you would with anything !
Oh my goodness, looks so yummy 😋! I’m definitely going to give these a try
I always use brown sugar. I do need a cast iron griddle. Sounds like a trip to Cabela’s! ❤
Try thrift and antique shops 1st, unless you must have a new one! Happy hunting!
@@bridgescwr6136 I've found the secondhand pans sometimes cost more than new!
Once you get your cast iron pan seasoned, you’ll never go back!!! Happy shopping 😊❤
Brown sugar, or white sugar with molasses makes everything better! Your teasers for the last several days about this recipe caused me to experiment and make biscuits with cinnamon, pecans and home dried raisins. I did not add any sugar to the base, but I did use powdered sugar and butter for the glaze. Turned out good, but next time I'll make this recipe.
Home dried grapes? Dehydrator or sun dried? This sounds good!!! Husband loves raisins!
Your additions sound wonderful !
I saw a Trisha Yearwood video that added crispy crumbles of bacon to her cinnamon rolls !!! As I remember , the crumbles were on top , too ...yummmmm...
Switching-up ingredients keeps it interesting!
I used to toss a smidge of sugar in all the flour based items. Really. Not sure where I picked that up from, I just always did it.
@@bridgescwr6136 Dehydrator. I always thought it was a waste of electricity to make them, but they were on sale for a great price and I bought a bunch. I have found that the best way to dry them is to cut them in half. Next time, I might put them in the blender and treat like a fruit roll up as it still takes a long time to dry them, even cut in half. I like to dehydrate at 115°F.
OK, Patara, I have been waiting for you to share this Cinnamon Roll recipe!! Going on this week's kitchen schedule!!
Oh Dear, Patara, what is 3-5 SPLASHES of Vanilla????
How much of a teaspoon is THAT?!
