1. That dough was beautiful. 2. He was so nice to entertain the kids. 3. He looks like he loves what he does. 4. I'll bet he smells divine when he gets home. 5. It bothered my soul that he didn't have enough counter space. AND... 6. Imagine what he could do if he had UNLIMITED counter space!! 7. I really want a cinnamon roll. 😍
Yeah that space was too small and confining for all those people. His counter also extended past where he comfortably access so he had to cut the end of the dough.
This young man is a craftsman! It's obvious he loves what he does! Takes pride in his work! I find it interesting how some folks are complaining about no gloves being worn yet will go to a fast food place where you don't see what's happening in the kitchen/prep area!! Not to mention food prepared in factories!! In my humble opinion, I'll take this kind of food prep any day!!
Amazing!!!!!!! and if you know anything about cooking you know that real clean bakers and cooks would never wear gloves. if you go to a place where people wear gloves you can observe them handling money and food and whatever with gloves; in this case it is very dirty, but those people use to please people that like to see the gloves. Real food comes from clean cooks and bakers hand. Well done. I loved this video!
About the no gloves, he is clearly the only one handling the dough and only things associated with the making of the cinnamon buns. He doesn’t touch anything else, like people, cash, even his face/clothes during the process. It’s like us at home, we don’t use gloves when preparing a meal for our family, a good hand washing is all that’s needed every so often.
I doesn't matter...gloves or no gloves...these rolls are going to be baked at 350+ degrees for 20+ minutes...no virus or bacteria can survive that...simple hand washing is all that is required by most health departments...any food that is to be baked or cooked does not require gloves...it is after the food is done and needs to be handled is where gloves make sense...
I make cinnamon rolls for my family quite often, as with a lot of baking you really need to feel what you are doing, having a layer of latex between you and the pastry you just don't get the same sensory information
Gloves or no gloves! Wearing gloves not necessarily means more hygienic, from my experience, I have seen people working with food wearing gloves and touching everything, besides food, cashier machine, door knob, even scratching their noses with that same pair of gloves on, the gloves kind of just saved them the trouble of washing hands. Personally, I preferred they wash their hands properly and frequently rather than wearing gloves. :-)
The most difficult in the kitchen... being a baker........budgeting time.... and its not too adviceable to wear gloves if your a baker....coz you will make their work difficult..
Phyllis Has is right! Gloves are to protect others from viruses and bacteria resulting from a person's cut or infection transferred to the product! Nothing is safer than good hygiene habits, and following good sanitary practices!
The best decision I ever made when making the filling is to use softened butter (not melted) and cream it with the cinnamon and brown sugar. Add wet (butter) or dry (cinnamon/sugar) until you get the right consistency. I go with about 10 tbsp butter for every cup of brown sugar. I also add about a tbsp of vanilla. Once you get it to a creamy and only slightly gritty consistency, you're good to spread it on. The good thing about this is you don't have to worry about rolling your dough tight since the dough/filling/dough will stick to each other and gold it's shape.
I tried this. Ther problem is, that the mixture ist harder to spread on the dough because its sticky. It takes more time to spread it evenly. If its too sticky its almost Impossible.
Making Cinnamon Rolls can be fun. Watching him enjoying what he is doing made me smile. Cause he enjoys his job, plus making kids smile while he made them. Plus His Rolls look Good AF. Now I want to make some more Cinnamon Rolls. I need to make some for Christmas or New Years. While people complain about no gloves, I am sure his hands are cleaned every time he makes a new batch. Plus most bakeries I been to never use gloves. Most Chef don't use gloves either.
He makes it look easy. My grandmother made the best! She passed in 1979. There is definitely a technique to making these. I recently acquired her recipe from my cousin who was the only one that had it. Try as I might, they didn't turn out like this man's did. Good luck making them!
All the whining about no gloves. His hands and that bake stall is probably way more sanitary then most food processing facilities. Wish I didn't click on this one,I sooooooo want a cinnamon roll now.
Warbird Phoenix He should wear gloves, it's a consumer bought product...... not homemade for your cousins, we don't want his sweat (& something else) on our food➖
i know i am a chef, my bare hands touch food all the time but thats because we wash our hands an excessive amount in professional kitchens, who really cares anyway, it looks amazing
@@mistyvioletconservative.3889 its simple just dnt eat from bakerys. You try making bread with gloves ya just cant. I been a baker 7 years ive always kept hands cleans wont ever be a slob and not care about people. I make it as if it was being made to the lord with nun bout love ;)
I loved it when everyone exclaimed Wow! once he poured the cinnamon sugar in ! Hmmmm I can almost smell it’s yumminess 5 years after this video was posted. Cinnamon buns are worth the long wait !!! Agree?! Yes for me 🙋🏻♀️🤣. Oh darn I want one now so badly I haven’t got yeast in my pantry 🙁
Who doesn’t....? Anyone that operates in the 21 century does.... back in the 70’s & 80’s.. fair enough. But as food hygiene education has taught us. Clean gloves especially when no soap and water is readily available is important. Which was certainly the point in this case. An outdoor food festival, think how long it would have been since he used soap and water. So I disagree with your statement about Australia. We on the East Coast southern biggest city, certainly do......

I don't know about you but I don't eat anything that I've dropped on the floor and my floors get cleaned every day. If you wear your street shoes into your kitchen it would be gross to eat something that fell on the floor. And the 5 second rule is a myth.
Thank you for sharing this amazing video. A pure pleasure to watch! Though I have never thought how unhealthy cinnamons really are: tons of butter and sugar! They are the master killers of anyone watching his/her weight. But sooo good, damn it!
I am soooo hungry now my stomach is growling & watching him was just amazing. He knows his job & he's entertaining as well. I agree he does need more space. He would be unlimited as to what he could achieve.
Thank you!!!! I have never gotten it either! I would understand it if it's spreading melted butter or something else, just to keep the food getting under the fingernails, but just because of ' health assurance' laws and other ' legal laws' .... It's quite ludicrous. I also get it if there is an open wound... other than that.... I'm all for clean hands and fingernails instead of plastic gloves!! Great issue to discuss!!!
I am going to London in March and HAVE to go get one of these. Would someone tell me were this shop is located. Damn I give up a day shopping for one of these or 2 or 3.

Beatifully done. He obviously takes pride in his work. Nothing sloppy.

@@enry898 I agree. Not to mention that gloves (changing them often) waste time and can be dangerous when handing sharp or rolling-type equipment.
What a beautiful video. ❤ I had a stressful day and watching this brought me peace and made me smile. Thank you.
The music, the sound of people talking at in the background, the smiles. These were such good times. Miss this.
It's a joy to watch someone do something they do well...it's artistry.
Amazing. It's got all the cheer of the holidays - music, children, happy people making delicious foods. I'd love to get a roll from this place!
Thank you for sharing this. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it.

so only wash your hand carefully then cook

Everyone's talking about him not wearing gloves, I'm wondering how he's able to work in that small kitchen
If he washed his hands who gives a shit...
Yeahhh, me too. I think it is very hard to work in such stuffy and narrow place
he knows where everthing is placed and everything is compact, this is like heaven for me lol
Love this video. I think I've watched it about 5 or 6 times now. It's weirdly relaxing -- LOL.
