In this Universal Orlando vlog 2022 we also experience some of the other nighttime entertainment like the Hogwarts light show and talk about our favorite attractions to experience at night. I, of course, love Suess Trolley in IOA. In Studios, riding Rocket during concerts, or HHN is amazing!! Kong closes down the outside when weather is bad, maybe they don't reopen the outside for a considerable time?

Riding Hagrid’s at night is out of this world fun! I didn’t realize that ride get get any better, but waiting in line to ride it a 3rd time just as the sun set was well worth the wait!

First time I went to Islands of Adventure, it was at night. It was the first day of our trip, I had been up since 1AM due to my flight and so we slept at the hotel for a little bit after exploring Studios Florida. It was amazing.
What a great introducing to the parks! Sounds like a long night but It could have been in worse places 😂!
We haven't stayed at dark yet. We will have to see how late the parks are open in May and possibly go later instead of at park opening. It's a long day when you have kids. Love those Toothsome shakes! Can't wait to have another one.

Went to universal/IOA every night when I was last in florida. IOA is a brilliant nighttime park
It is absolutely beautiful!
We were there this past week and on Wednesday night it was raining on and off and we were able to ride a lot of the rides over in studios with no more than a 20 minute wait time. MIB was a walk on, Simpson was a 15 min wait, fast and furious that was another walk on, (and now I know why ; ). Gringotts was about 20 minute wait, it was so great at night crowds died down because of the rain. I would say definitely go when it rains. Learned so much from you guys, thank you for these videos!!

Awesome video! I was able to hit hagrids at night this past october, WHILE the Dark Arts light show was going on,. The fireworks went off as we were hitting the final turn on the motorbike adventure, it was AMAZING. Then I got to interact with all the death eaters in hogsmeade after!

I’ve actually never done the parks after dark , but I certainly will now , and the view behind Mythos is literally THE BEST view in the park ( my opinion) 👍😊

My group went to universal in april and we rode ripsaw falls like 5 times in a row in the dark and its was so much fun

Islands of Adventure is my favorite park to walk through at night. It’s gorgeous! . Especially the spot on the bridge between Lost Continent at Seuss Landing when you look across the water at Marvel Superhero Island. & the view at the beginning when you look straight across the water at Velicicoaster at night. Ahh you guys make me want to go back. After Universal finishes Epic Universe, I hope they expand to another state to build more parks. They could definitely capitalize since Disney is only in Florida and California. Plus it would help out travelers from other states.

@@ThePughTwo yeah I just took my family back in September for about a week’s stay at Royal Pacific and we’re seasonal passholders. We did HHN of course. Even though we typically come once a year (except 2020), I didn’t book this year because I plan to buy a house. But I’ll be back next year for sure.
Such a fun video! I love riding Hagrid's at night, not just because it's darker around the track but because it's the best way to see the centaur scene clearly (particularly if you are in the back of the train). Also, the little detail of the headlights of the bikes going out when you lose power is really cool. I really want to ride Ripsaw at night but would have to plan it be the last thing I do before going back to the hotel!
It is so good at night and you get to see even more details it seems like! We have to suggest riding rip ride at night! honestly its one of our favorite things to do at the parks! Thank you for watching!

Just kidding, no actual pressure :). I just remember you all mentioning it once before, I think. This is totally how we roll with the parks down here -- and if you ever did move, I know you all would find a way to keep that vacation magic alive. Even tho universal is still kind of new to me, I've had disney passes for the ten years we've lived here, and I kid you not that I still get excited to go into the parks. It's like mini vacations throughout the week. I know sometimes people get bored with it, but we never have -- it's been awesome. And I feel like you all have that spirit where you bring that magic with you and wouldn't tire of it, either. There's always something new to get excited about, it feels like.
Anyway, that was a tangent you never asked for 😂. My apologies! This video just reminded me of local life here. Hope you have a great one!

Seuss Trolley at night is magical!! Doom is another one I love to do at night for the views! Tbh, Ripsaw Falls is TERRIFYING at night. Lol!!! So many false drops & it's worse in the dark! Haha!!!

It's awesome you did the High in the Sky Seuss Trolley. It's amazing at night. My wife & I made sure we rode it at night at least once in Dec 2019. But we like going on it during the say too. It has great views & it can be a nice break in between all of the thrill rides. And I'm with Tyler on loving Butterbeer. That part had me rolling lol. I do the same kind of jokes with my wife (luckily she knows I'm joking lol)
We love it so much at night! LOL Tyler is such a goober but it made me laugh so hard when he did that! I wouldn't know what to do if he wasnt joking with me like that!

River Adventure is well lit at night. Mmmmm Rice Krispie good choice.

We just got back from our second trip to USO! This trip we definitely planned to spend nights at the parks because last time we spent just days. We spent 3 of the 4 nights at the parks and it was incredible! Monday we rode Hagrid's, it was mid to low 60's and I was chilly. We got a hot butterbeer and watched the Hogwarts Light show. After that we rode Velasacoaster, then literally ran to River Adventure! We had 10 minutes until 10 pm! So excited we got all that in! Tuesday night we rode Hulk and Hagrid's, twice!! I nearly cried tears of joy! Wednesday night it rained but Thursday night we enjoyed Diagon Alley at night! We had such an incredible trip!
Funny you mentioned a 10:45 pm Milkshake instead of a 10:45 am one. Well, before our trip I made a reservation at Toothsomes for 10:45 am, or maybe not. We showed up at 10:37 am. I mentioned that we were early. Yep. 12 hours and 8 mints early. I made the reservation for PM instead of AM. But they were able to seat us and we enjoyed an early lunch! It was delicious!!
This sounds like such an amazing trip! You got on River Adventure when it was chilly, wow! That is really brave haha. Haha on no! We have done the same thing so its not that uncommon I don't think. We had our best experience at night in the parks. There were lower wait times, and many rides were almost walk on for the last 2 hours. WE especially liked Jurassic Park River Ride in the dark!!!! It was extra eerie! Great video!!! We loved Kong as well at night!

Absolutely different in so many ways! We almost dare to say that we prefer them at night? Its just such a fun and unique experience and contrast to day time rides. Thank you Robert!
IoA is awesome at night, just watch out for the rats! As for best view, it’s hard to beat the view from the top of the Velocicoaster top hat especially if you time it right to coincide with the Hogwarts light show.
We have tried to tune it up with the light show a couple of times and have barely missed the fireworks on the top hat by seconds! Hope it lines up for us one day!

Have ridden Kong 10 times, party bus always takes the shortcut...
We have ridden probably 40-50 times honestly and this is the first time it took that detour. We rode it 2-3 times this trip and that night was the only time it took the detour so that’s odd haha!

I don't pay attention to the weather forecast at all before I go to the parks; there are days when it will rain all day or almost all day, but go to studios on those days! This is just my personal observations, but I notice more vacationers donning ponchos and dashing for shelter in the rain. I'm out of state and when it rains, I either deal with it poncho-free; it's like a warm water shower :) It's a water ride attraction with no queue! enjoy it!

Which hotel are you at? We love Surfside's suites. When we want a better swimming day than what the hotel pool offers, we then just go to Volcano Bay (we have three-park passes).

I have had a midnight Frosty before, if that counts...? LOVED this video. I think the parks at night are so fantastic. Unfortunately, we are going at a slower time and won't be seeing them in the darkness. Sad faces all around. Also, Anna, I DID NOT know there was a troll under that bridge either, I might have to investigate.

Was disappointed with Kong during the November meetup. It took the shortcut as well so missed riding through the outdoor part at night. It was also running in a b mode type setting where the base didn’t really move just had the 3D and effects. It’s a fun ride but seems like if everything isn’t working it can be a big let down as well.
We can totally see that! We do enjoy the attraction, however its certainly not a MUST do in our opinion. Yeah if all of the features aren't working, it could definitely be a let down.
If you guys love beef empanadas, you gotta go to Miami and go to any publix and they’re so much better! Or you could go to a cuban bakery somewhere in Orlando and you’re going to love it!

Thank you Tori! You can just take the Velocicoaster entrance and once you get down to the attraction you go left and it takes you out into the lost continent ride outside of Hogsmeade!

We visited both parks beginning of Feb this year the park closed at 7pm. Are they opened later now??
So during busier times of the year, they stay open later! This was spring break so they were open til 10pm most nights!
OK yep had a midnight snack but not in the parks seeing this we definitely wNt to try bearing in mind we have to little ones. Will you guys be around September October as we will be going for our 3rd attempt and would love to meet and greet ? And keep up the fun
We’ll be down there sometime around then for HHN! If you see us, make sure you say hi! We don’t typically make it that late in the parks, and to be honest, I (Anna) was falling asleep against the wall while we waited for our shake 😂

Thank you so much Dave! We started RUclips a little over a year ago at this point. We decided to start filming our trips cause we just wanted to document them and then decided to help other people plan their trips! That last questions is the tricky part haha. Not living in florida means we have to travel down fairly frequently just to make sure that we the footage and videos that we need. We aren't complaining though cause we adore Universal!

It looks like this is the first video where the Sony A7IV was used instead of the Canon M6. Any notable differences overall? The video/audio quality looks just as good.
Haha you’re probably right! This times up well with about when we got it. This camera just has so many more options than our previous camera! The audio is a little better, too. We’re very happy with the upgrade!
Seeing this video may give me my answer... But which park is the best to start at if we have only have 1 day with a Park-to-Park pass? (4 adults and we plan to spend the entire day at both parks). Great videos btw!

Oh this last Saturday I went to Universal and it was wild and I have a rule, if its 20min or less i ride it as long as i am allowed like a ride roulette. I ended up drawing the short straw twice The first ride was popeye’s and i got soaked and walked around for hours in wet shoes lol the second was fast and furious i made it all the way to the bus before the ride broke down and the folks in the previous bus had to het evacuated out. All and all a wild Saturday with some low waits. Really looking forward to the informer.
