  • SeaWorld and Busch Gardens parks have been run into the ground through bad management and while this isn't new commentary from the channel, there does appear to be a little bit of hope after this summer. In 2023, SeaWorld Orlando debuted Pipeline: The Surf Coaster which was... weird, but was probably done because it was experimental from B&M and SeaWorld could get the coaster for cheap. It appears now that the company has done the same again, now with Penguin Trek for Orlando and Phoenix Rising for Busch Gardens Tampa. These new proof-of-concept family coasters seem underwhelming on first appearance but I was surprised to discover that their layouts are actually fantastic and even better, they have decent theming for these parks. Still, while these new attractions are a step in the right direction for SeaWorld and Busch, their operations are as abysmal as ever, even to the point where Penguin Trek's operations resulted in a serious fire hazard. So today, let's take a look at what makes these coasters great and why park operations are unfortunately dragging them down.
