I hear from people I know all the time that aren't into traditional entertainment (music, movies, etc.) "Why do people get so sad over celebrities who don't even know who u are?". Well to that I say these people have filled me with core memories and emotion, that along with the fact I am very empathetic, I can honestly say I miss them and feel for them. Depression is not about being not happy. It is a fight of you versus the darkness, versus getting numb, getting sucked into loneliness. There are phases in which you stumble. And then depression takes over your life. Sometimes you find your way out after all. But at some point you just let yourself go because the fight against depression makes you tired and sad.
ME TOO!!!! After his death I was completely crushed, and to think I've never met him in real life. It took me so many years after, to be able to listen to LP again.
