as a mixing enthusiast/drummer/producer/sonic-witch alchemist of approx 3 yrs, Jono’s conveyance of information is one of the most accessible and comprehensive, imho. revisiting Jono’s videos is not uncommon and incredibly grateful they are in the world. cheers
Fantastic. I’ve always wanted to explore this kind of “creative” convolution in more depth but couldn’t figure out how to be methodical about it. Thanks so much for the example!
Very cool Jono! I was expecting a 'If you don't like that, then you're watching the wrong channel!' 🤣 That should definitely be your catchphrase! Great work!
Hi Jono! Great video as always, I have a question about two EQ's in Logic: Could you explain the main differences between the linear phase EQ and the Channel EQ? And when it would be appropriate to use each one? Cheers!
Great question and one I’m happy to answer at length in a video. But - short version - Channel EQ is best for individual sounds and Linear Phase EQ is best for complex sounds and whole mixes (so it’s ideal as part of a mastering channel strip). Whenever Phase preservation is a top priority - and when phase coherence could be interrupted by the filter curves within an EQ - use Linear Phase EQ. Hope that helps, somewhat, for now.
Aha! For the same reason that Bass is ALWAYS purple… (don’t get me started on colours, I might never stop!) Suffice to say, I like coming back to a project and knowing what everything is based on my colour-scheme.
Is there anything we can't do on Logic? lol thanks for that idea, very creative, I didn't know you could do that on space designer. see, Never brush off a plugin, experiment with them.....like this :)

That’s great to hear. Thanks so much. Enjoy exploring!
Wonderful, Jono, I've learned a lot from this video!
Delighted to hear it! Thanks.
Best music teacher! Thank you Jono!

@@jonobuchananmusicthat helps massively! Clears up a lot of confusion I had, cheers!
Excellent vid, This could also be used to trigger a voice/audio file?
Absolutely - well worth trying with any audio file you like.
Why are the drum tracks blue, Jono? :-p

@@jonobuchananmusic Perfect. Thanks for the mind opening video. ✌
Hi, my master.

I've not yet managed Logic to make me a cup of tea... ; )
@@jonobuchananmusic I was gonna say the same with coffee lol
Entertaining dull with a posh accent and 20 years old information. Maybe a gig with the BBC.
Noted!
