Hello Desmowerx, congratulations for everything. Can you help me? I woul like to know how to check the engine sensor timing without mathesis. Thank you for answer, and sorry for my english.
HI Pasquale, if you meant the Throttle sensor, Brad the Bike Boy has a good methodology without the Mathesis tool - www.bikeboy.org/ducati4vthrottleb.html
Love the videos! Question about your toggle switch for power that replaced the key...did you wire it such that all of the "accessory" position items and run position items are all powered together in 1 toggle position? If no lighting is left on the bike then I don't see a problem with combining these two key positions into 1 position on a 2-pole toggle. Agree?
Hi Joel, The accessory is live once the ignition relay is live by the run switch so its possible, I have never left any accessories on the bike so have not done this. I only connect the run circuit to the toggle and cut all the accessory wires back. In principle you could do it but it would leave live wires running around the loom so another potential issue.
DesmoWerx Thanks. I am building a loom from scratch for my 998, and I ended up repurposing the high beam relay in place of the key switch as a “run” relay. The “run” relay powers the ignition relay from the fuse box, and is activated by the run/stop switch on the right controls. Definitely tidied up the loom.
good afternoon the problem with my Ducati is that my dog bit the wiring only I see broken black cables are the ones I can not identify would help me some excellent videos about the Ducati 748 is the one that I have greetings from moneterry Mexico
Hi Mary, Nice to have a message from Mexico :) If its a standard Ducati wiring loom the black cables are for earths, where in the bike did the dog chew the loom?
@@DesmoWerx thank you very much for answering I also have a doubt about a connection they leave red black cable and a gray one with black but I do not see any gray cable with black to connect to since they all connect color with color but that there is no
@@DesmoWerx I do not know exactly but it looks the same as the bike you repaired comes the same cables only from a harness come cables, red, black and one black with gray
Thank you...
You're welcome!

DesmoWerx the only accessories I left in place were the 3 or 4 gage backlights on the dash, so very low power consumption.
