    What if I’m building the doors out and don’t want any stock connections music wise? Everything will be on amps and RCA cables. Do I need the adapter or can I just use an open ended adapter like the TJs?

    For clairification, the Maestro and other adapters don't utilize the factory microphone for bluetooth? Still have to run the aftermarket one?

    If I don’t want to use the maestro, will the t-harness still work for my radio? Don’t have the money for everything right now, so I want to do everything slowly.

    I have a 2015 JKU sport. I only have one connection for the factory harness instead of two. Is that an issue?

    Since you removed that metal brace in the dash, is nothing holding in that pocket that sits on top of the dashboard? There seems to be a plastic piece in that metal brace that's used to screw down the top of the dashboard.

      Just found out today that when I paid a company to install the radio they removed that bracket. I had just purchased the Bulletpoint mounting solution for my dashboard and because this bracket doesn't exist I can't properly install the dash mount system for my phone/Go Pro. I could try and devise something but I don't want added tension pulling the dash away.

    I had a pioneer limited installed. Only my front speakers work properly. I can’t adjust the fade or anything. What wire do I need to install to get my amp and overhead speakers to work?

    Did your Jeep have the uconnect module? If so, if you wanted to get rid of uconnect all together would you need to plug anything into the new stereo from the uconnect connections?

    Just for information the rear bracket is not removable on a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, it is part of the solid dash structure. Depending on which radio you are installing it my need to be cut away; so a word of caution choose your radio wisely.

      You probably have the factory alpine audio system. You need to make sure you hook up the blue / white wire in the harness adapter to trigger that amp to turn on or else you will not get sound.

    I installed this on my 2009 jeep wrangler Sahara. I did not purchase maestro. The stereo turns on and pairs through bluetooth but there is absolutely no sound. There was also no USB cable in the box. I connected it correctly per instructions. What am I doing wrong or missing? Any advice. It's the pioneer avh-2550nex model. I purchased the dash kit, antennae, rp4-ch11 pac, everything I was told that's necessary for proper installation. I can't figure out why there is no sound? Any help or advice appreciated.

    My radio doesn’t come with steering wheel control would that cause me not to have sound

    • @ProvoBeastAudio
      @ProvoBeastAudio  3 года назад

      Nope, sounds like you may have the Infinity amplified sound system that isn't being trigged to turn on. Make sure the blue/white wire is hooked up to the wiring harness adpater.

      You know, prices vary, but most was purchased on amazon, so using the list of parts in the description, you can get a good estimate on total cost for parts.

    Has anyone had siri/text message read back issues on their pioneer installed radio? I installed the 1440 and it worked great with my iPhone 10 on iOS 12, but I upgraded to iPhone 11 and iOS 13 and now siri, text message read back, and hearing peoples voices when they call me no longer works.

      I had a similar issue with my Kenwood Exelon unit. I had to goto the kenwood site and download a new firmware update for the radio to a memory stick then flash the head unit. Sometimes you iPhone will also take a few days to have another update to fix it.

    Lol, harness connectors NEVER come out easily. We do tractors...clay, debris, oil, fuel, DEF....all make unplugging harnesses without damaging them impossible. Doesn't help that there are 30 million different connector designs...God forbid engineers and company's try to make shit easier on the guys working on them. Hahaha
