    Pse Mach 34 is 3.6 lbs 34 inch ata. pse does carbon right hand laid in the USA. That said I got a lift 33 and it’s a phenomenal bow. Have a feeling all the companies will be coming out with lighter bows next year. Mathews sets the trends.

    • @danielsmith8659
      @danielsmith8659 7 месяцев назад

      It’s not a new trend . 12 years ago most bows were sub 4lbs. Including Mathews . I don’t think Martin even made a bow in their lineup over 4lbs back then.

    • @vm859
      @vm859 7 месяцев назад

      @@danielsmith8659 Split limbs, wide platforms, and enough material to make them vibration free makes it nearly impossible to be sub 4. Bows of yesteryear dont compare in size and shape of todays bows.

    • @danielsmith8659
      @danielsmith8659 7 месяцев назад

      @@vm859 2013 obsession knightmare , faster than 9 out of 10 bows out right now, deader than probably 7 out of 10, cheaper than 10 out of 10, and sub 4 lbs with split limbs . They existed …. But to your point I agree …. Bows for the most part other than speed , were definitely behind todays standards .

    Awesome video. I'm 50 years old and have been shooting since I was a kid. Shot 70 lb bows maxed out and a couple of hundred arrows a few times a week for many years and I'm paying the price now with elbow pain and shoulder pain. It's so unnecessary compared to the price you may pay later on. That said good luck with the new puppy.

    Coo videol to see, I have several 80lb bows, the core sr is what purchased this year. The lift, at the moment hasn't motivated me enough to move from my V3x29, I can't even hardly visuallly tell them apart in this video. The weight of the bow seems pretty mimimal especially with a quiver of heavy hunting arrows. I wait to see the 2025 " Lift 2 "looks like...

    After being into archery even before the wheelies were invented the best advice I tell people is shoot a bow that draws smoothly AND fits your body size ( which is hard to explain but is a real factor). For 99.99% of time speed is not the answer. The answer is ACCURACY. And when a bow is easy for you to draw and hold you will shoot more. And that is what will make you a better archer. Lots of people draw 75-80+#’s but they have that physical ability which is fantastic. It boils down to what an individual enjoys and is comfortable with. So many options anymore it’s ridiculous.

      I've been shooting a Mathews DXT, 29 3/4 ata, 29/70, 3.75lbs, for 16 years. I'm 6'2 and my wingspan is 75.5 inches. I've shot it well at times, but it definitely doesn't "fit" my body. I think I've been missing out and I'm about to upgrade.

    Bro I believe bows within 3 years of each other are going to be similar. There’s not a lot these days that are game changers. The Phase 4 and the lift have been the biggest changes in two years for Mathews but your V3X is hanging with the front runner. I’m just shocked (still) how they have shaved the Lift down to get the weight down to compare to the carbon bows. That’s pretty impressive.

    Man im a 31” draw too. Im gunna follow you because all the other RUclips archers are all mini Joe Rogans 😂. So i just got my Elite ethos and that bow is a sleeper speed bow. So at 70# it’s throwing a 427gn arrow at 312fps! I had to bump down to a 250 spine though that bow was too fast for a 300 spine. So with the 250 spine arrows at 456 gn they are still going 299fps 😂

For someone like myself that keeps bows for many seasons before upgrading, it wouldn't be worth it. For y'all that like the latest and greatest, then absolutely. Just do you my friends and enjoy
