Bro I noticed you doing something I also have trouble with, can I make a suggestion on something you should try during your draw cycle?

My man got me addicted to them Iron will broadheads. Appreciate it.
@@codyhardman8610 I need a discount code lol
I like sharpening a 3 blade like my vpa, it’s idiot proof sand they get stupid sharp.
If you have a broadhead tuned and grouping to satisfaction. Why are clouding your judgment so close to leaving for hunt. Trying new terminal gear can wait until you have more time to explore new things. Second guessing yourself before a hunt is a recipe for disaster. Good luck.
Thanks homie 🤙🏾 I guess I’m never satisfied, it turned out fine and brought the internet some content.
Glad to see you concerned with fine tune. I'd bump rest, I gotta have as perfect as I can.
Best archery range on RUclips!! Where is this, it’s sweet!!! Great video my friend!!
I think it's in Hawaii I hope that's how you spell it.
I also just had to put up my Nock2it (same reason started misfiring). Actually switched to the Truball Ultimate Flex and very happy I did. (A bit pricey 🤦♂️) but keeps me honest and if set properly will not allow you to get punchy. Highly recommend
@@dougkiefer7073 may have to look into it. The nock 2 it was under warranty do not too bad
at round 3:10 you say "this is how I like to hang my pack" do you have any info on the rope / hardware you have setup? Looks like paracord with some knots in it with an s carabiner but I've been looking for a better way to attach things to the tree and really like what you have setup there.
@@DaveMorehead-q6c I can’t believe I haven’t made a video on it yet. I’ll try to make one soon.
Man im a 31” draw too. Im gunna follow you because all the other RUclips archers are all mini Joe Rogans 😂. So i just got my Elite ethos and that bow is a sleeper speed bow. So at 70# it’s throwing a 427gn arrow at 312fps! I had to bump down to a 250 spine though that bow was too fast for a 300 spine. So with the 250 spine arrows at 456 gn they are still going 299fps 😂
😂
Have you seen any of the lift bows with limb issues? I saw a bunch stating they're splintering... and im contemplating it still. I held one, and it felt amazing. It was that or hoyt.
I haven’t seen any locally
Brother glad to see you back!! Honestly if you had more time Id say bump the rest. But you seem to know the performance of your rig well so I think you got it dialed in.
What’s up bro, glad to be back 🤙🏾
I'm running the same sight as you and I'm having trouble with using my bottom pin as my floater to find my sight tape. Used my top pin and it worked just fine but it really limits my distance. Any advice?

If you have a 3” group at 50 yards, then I wouldn’t touch the bow and enjoy the hunt.

How do you sharpen the iron will or with what i guess is what im asking diamond stones im guessing im wanting to start using a broadhead ican sharpen instead of the one deer then throwing away my current one's

Cool video. Thanks
Why do you think different heads are going to hit the same.
@@RG_outdoors285 they do when I don’t skip tuning steps
Bareshaft tune your arrows and shouldn’t matter what head you shoot. I believe that’s the step he’s talking about in the tuning setup.
@@PrivilegedBowhunter I don't have two kinds of broadheads in my quiver I only use slick tricks and tune them with my target points. But I don't shoot at any game animals past 50 yards foam is a different story it doesn't move after the shot but to each their own. Send it
that was amazing bow video and it is always good to practice shooting your bow or crossbow before going out hunting it's always good to shoot the arrows into a good group so you can know that they are aiming in the right direction nice job and good luck bow hunting don't miss your target
Thanks homie
This is two years later July of 24. I replaced the springs finally. With a microscopic dot of oil on the dowels. It improved the functionality 100%. I would never thought the springs were that weak but they were. Or send it in to Carter and pay very little. It’s well worth it.

Been having a similar problem with my Carter wise choice. Would get to full draw, fire and nothing would happen, begin a let down and the release fires half way during the let down.
Carter sells a refurb kit, I have a video on the process
Either order the rebuild kit now because sending it in is about a 3 week turn around. I sent two in for rework to be way ahead of hunting season.
@@PrivilegedBowhunter used your first Carter break down video to try to see if it was dirty when it first started happening and awesome video by the way but it didn’t fix the problem so I brought a new one lol. Will order a refurbishment kit thanks.
I've had a stan perfex and Ultraview button do that. Got my money back. Stan do it a lot.
I shoot the iron will single bevel for the same reason I have some double bevel iron wills but would rather take a country ass whipping then sharpen those I also keep 1 swhacker in my quiver for a longer shot as well. im broadhead tuning the 2 bows I hunt with now as well had to move my top hats or rather move the cam to the right cause my broadhead was left of mt FP but if it was just a click or 2 on the rest im good with that.. good luck on your hunt God Bless
Good stuff bro👊🏾
Ty for the content. I just bought the lift 33” and waiting for top hats to come in. I’m having an issue getting a bullet hole. What vanes are you using on your arrows with your iron?

Hello again. Why not measure from the deepest part of the bow grip to the closest edge of the string? If you don’t mind, when you have a moment, I’d like to ask you a few things as I’m practically done with the process of taking all necessary measurements but I have never used this software. Let me know how/when we can get in touch. Keep up the good content 👍
Iron will for me nothing runs far. Super quality and reusable tryin the 150g wides this year
Won’t be disappointed
Is there a benefit to this method over marking at 20 and 80, then comparing that gap to the factory tapes included with my sight and choosing the one that matches?
Yes the in between yardages will be more accurate
Thank you for such a great video. To figure out the actual brace hight, you would add 1 3/4” regardless of the brand/model of bow or this is just true for the bow you have? Thank you
@@mansalaija it’s true for all the mainstream bow companies
Got it! Thank you. I think I need some guidance in order to sight in my bow sight as I have only done it one time (new sight) and then went to shoot 3D but at long distances (45-65) I was off, hitting low and to the right, all the axis are spot, the bow is tuned and I’m a decent shooter. I have only used fixed pins sight in the past. I have a MBG 3 pin pro hunter hd sight with two needle indicators. This is what I did: I moved my bottom (40 yard pin) close to the level so I can get more yardage just to practice long shots. Then I put electrical tape horizontally on the target at 40 yards and sighted in by moving the housing accordingly until I was hitting the middle of the tape. Then I sighted in my 30 and 20 yard pins by moving the pins and not the housing and using the same electrical tape placed horizontally on the target at 20 and 30 yards. After doing this I only used my 20 yard pin to find out the drop of the arrow shooting from 20 yards and 60 yards and making a small line next to the top needle indicator when at 20 and when at 60. Later I matched this two lines to one of the sight tapes that came with the sight and once I found the right tape I put it on the sight bar aligning the 20 yard mark with the top needle indicator and the 40 yard mark with the bottom needle indicator. Did I forget something? Was my process good? I have archers advantage but I have never made a custom sight tape. I don’t have a draw board either. Thank you.
Andre let me start off by saying i love the content. My question is this still your go to setup with the DMM Pivot? I want to make the transition to a One Stick climbing setup and I am leaning towards a non-mechanical rappel device. Just curious if you have any additional information since this video was posted.
