    Only in the few years do I check arrows. Hunting and target. Especially at the many 3-d events I attend every year. And I have found some damaged shafts from the other archers arrows smacking mine. I’ve been very lucky over the years when I wasn’t even thinking about checking arrows unless I accidentally saw something that caught my eye. I love stacking arrows in groups on my targets. A great way to damage them. But, to me an arrow is kinda like a bullet- once it’s fired that may the last time it’s usable. For the longest time I worried about loosing or damaging them especially shooting at longer ranges. People, don’t worry about loosing or damaging arrows. For me it caused a slight anxiety because they can be expensive, but you have to not let that happen. Keep in mind arrows are highly expendable. And checking for damage and discarding one is just part of this archery thing. 👍👍👀
