As one of the initial things that got me into Game of Thrones, Ramin Djawadi's music has always been a huge inspiration of mine, and making an arrangement of this theme almost seems to be a sort of coming of age experience for RUclips musicians. This particular arrangement has been in the works with my good friend Plasma3Music for a long time (over 3 years!), and we finally got around to finishing it after so long a couple of weeks ago. As a way of sharing the views a little more consistently between both of our channels, this is a little bit of a test for uploading some longer 'extended' versions of the tracks we work on together. It's been such a long time in the making, hopefully it was worth the wait!

This music was most helpful in assisting my recovery from a near fatal illness. Having survived after weeks in hospital, I was sent to a rehab facility where listening to music, especially this theme got me out of bed and made me fight to regain my strength. In consequence I left rehab 5 days early and can walk 2 miles a day.

When someone asks me what I know about Game of Thrones, I will say I learned that power is not the one that brings right, that dignity and honor are more important than money, and that the insidious is the one who wins in the end. The idea of the hero spreads in every movie, Game of Thrones. It came and changed this perspective and changed that creative culture and showed it with a sterile, wise and dazzling idea. Game of Thrones is the one who spread the culture that there should not be in every movie one hero. Game of Thrones gave us fictional characters we lived with as if they were real characters. It's not only a title track.It summarizes the trials,the tribulations,the hopes,the despair,the victory,the defeats,the love,the deaths,the trust,the betrayals and many other things of all the characters especially the Stark kids,Danerys and Tyrion.
It gives faith when facing defeat don't try to be a hero,run if u have to because ur dreams will give u the strength to come back stronger on ur enemies.As Lord Varys told the revenge u desire will be urs but only if u have the stomach to have it by patience and preparation.❤❤❤❤

Listening to this.... I remember a show that shunned all tropes. No clue as to who to root for...moral ambiguity on all sides. Political corruption, pride in one’s family, questioning the line of succession... I weaved a web of intrigue and mystery just where this story would lead us. Slowly a magical, otherworldly element was shown to us and we knew this story was going to be one for the ages... then after season 4 the show slowly dropped into traditional Hollywood. Makes me sad but the first half of the show will always hold a special place in my heart.
