Welcome to the Refugees of Former Healers. I loved healing mythics until Dragonflight, both seasons. I swapped to DPS and honestly it saved the game for me. I was shocked at how much easier and laid back mythics became when I go DPS. I occasionally heal a key to see if it's still horrible and it always is. You can't make mistakes with a mistweaver for example because your pug team probably won't even use defensives or not the correct time. So your ramp up and timing must be perfect or they die. Also getting into keys is a major difference, it can take much longer to get into a 20-23 pug key with something that is not holy paladin. With mistweaver (lack of relevant utility) or preservation evoker (everyone want aug.) you can sit in the queue for a very long time or wait for people for your own keys for a long time.

I had the exact opposite experience, I mostly DPS, though I healed and Tanked in Season 1 on MW and Brew.
This Season, I switched to Healing because I couldn't be bothered to wait for a Healer, and then watch them not be able to get past Tyrannical bosses, which just ends the key.
So I switched to Healing in M+, so I could carry the group. Because this Season, the timers are incredibly comfortable, so if you can live the hard Healing checks, then the key is free.
And I would rather all the pressure be on me, than sit there watching helplessly knowing the Healer can't get past the boss.

Stuns and disarms and *very noticeable* damage penalties for screwing up mechanics are sorely lacking. It's not a problem in 18+ keys but below that, dps don't even know they are screwing up because someone else has always babied them through it. The range where incompetence gets weeded out has risen sharply in 10.1, it used to be sub-10s. In S1 it was 13+. Now 16s aren't safe because they can easily be timed while doing everything wrong.

Raiding as Holy Priest is the most fun I have in game, you just feel powerful and well equipped to deal with stuff during boss fights, even the lack of mobility never bothered me as i saw it as a drawback for playing a strong group healer. When i turned to m+ i could only force myself to do one key a week, because it was almost impossible. The biggest issue wasn't that i couldn't do enough hps but that i felt like i didn't have the kit to deal with a group of 5 players. When you are in a raid and you use your huge CDs you feel great but in m+ using Apotheosis is pretty much it all your other CDs aren't efficient enough in small groups and with wasted talent keystones like lightwell you feel hopeless. Not to mention the stat disparity between m+ and raid where holy priests go crit and mastery in raid and haste in m+ trying to meet these hps requirement with 0 haste and burstey dmg spikes is just impossible and I am not getting two sets of gear on one character.

Interesting, I experience the same thing you talk about in your video. Having a geared Prevoker from S1 I switched to Augvoker and having a blast now. This spec is so satisfying. It has almost for every scenario the right tools. Something for tanks, something for my healer, buff my dps mates, mitigate some dmg from bosses for the group, 2 upheavels, 1 push back, kick, 1 root, 2 dispells, Lust, some off healing. Minmaxing buff uptime and cds. It feels so satisfying to help and push the group through the key.
And even if I time a cd wrong, nobody dies. Whereas with my Druid I have the constant pressure to time my cds, painfully heal through bleed and sickness debuffs, just hoping my group mate will press his mitigate cds, which are not always available as, for whatever reason, it is common that the same player gets targeted with debuffs twice/thrice in a row.

This is why healing is a failed concept. The fact that a healer exists means people stop feeling responsible for their own health bar. When a person is out soloing in the wild or even playing a single player game like Elden Ring, people understand that if you die, it's your own fault and it's probably something you did wrong, but because there's a healer to cover up your mistakes, then you feel like your health bar isn't your responsibility anymore. I noticed something very interesting in keys which is that when the healer dies in a boss fight, all the sudden every player in the group turns into a 3500 rated player, dodging everything, healing themselves, healing eachother, it's hilarious. All it took for people to start playing like they actually give a 💩is for the healer to die.

A good DPS group will avoid being hit by avoidable damages, use their defensive for big burst, kick what need to be kicked, and use their full utility kit (help with cleansing). The difference between a good DPS group and a bad one can make all the difference in the healing experience. Which bring the question: what is blizzard current design for healing classes? Is it just to be babysitters for DPS (tanks don't even need healers anymore)?
I miss the original healing design, when healers were resource managers, when heals actually healed but were costly in resources and could not be spammed without quickly running out. Healing required more tactical capacities than other roles and often seen as the "intellectual" in the group. What do you think?

The 0.1% threshold jump triggered by 10.1.5 is all you need to know. Now, with the deserved nerfs to the meta5 (damage and healing only, as you said), and the nerf to the chains in neltharus, it’s as if blizzard has given up on balancing or course correcting for s2.

0.1% threshold is not much higher than it was in previous season. IO of the highest pushing players jumped higher than in previous season but for average title pusher nothing really changed that much. Meta or not there is still skill issue. You cant pick up aug and push all 27s if you're bad, no matter what community thinks about meta specs you still need skill and dungeon knowledge to push 27-28s

Right now I only play as a resto shaman and I absolutely love the class and the role. Healing in Mythic plus DF season 2 has been an absolute wild roller coaster. Personally I am still enjoying playing as a healer but I'm not pushing high keys anymore, granted high keys for me at 16-17 +. It feels exactly as you said that there are key moments where if not done correctly can just wipe the group. Having this happen a bit really took a toll on my enjoyment of the game because I kept thinking it was my fault I'm not healing well enough I need to be better. After I started to look at the warcraft logs I realized that it's not me, it might be a bit of me, but it's also they hit crazy hard, a missed mechanic by anyone else means I have to heal that much harder to top everyone up while waiting/dealing with/dodging the next mechanic. It's exhausting and I am hoping for more balance between the classes. But right now I am enjoying playing as a healer but mainly cause I'm not pushing anything crazy. Just healing runs that I know will be fun and helps get other players their keys up.
Also I am a huge fan of your UI layout and would absolutely love to replicate it, would you or anyone else that might see this be able to point me towards how to set that up?

I especially think making healing about a few key burst moments ruins diversity of healing playstyles. Something like Rdruid is at its core a sustain healer - HoTs are not meant for quick burst heals. Other healers are more designed for that, which is why encounters needs a proper balance of "healing problems" to solve. If it's all about burst windows, then they need to force some healers into playing something they fundamentally are not designed for, and while you can obviously balance numbers to make it work, it won't work from a good design perspective, resulting in losing both the identity and fun of certain healers.

One solution is to punish DPS for failed mechanics rather than punishing healers. If someone stands in something they shouldn't stand in perhaps instead of losing a big chunk of health they should have their damage reduced by a significant amount.

I agree. I feel like punishing damage output for dps failing mechanics would make more sense than punishing healers for everyone else's mistakes. You need dps to time keys. Punishing their damage output would actually make dps players pay more attention cause they love those meter numbers more than they love relying on healers to fix their mistakes. Failing timing a key could also be from dps failing to avoid things that lower their dps.

Absolutely idiotic, the dps that stand in crud will always stand in crud because they're not good enough not too. I know, let's halve their dps and see where that gets your group's key. For the most part, people playing in the 20+ key levels hardly stand in shiz on the floor but people still playing in the 10 range in s2 will be, as that is their standard............you cannot help people that don't want to be helped. One more thing, download a cd tracker and when someone is flaming you for their own death, you can point out to them how many of their defensives they did not use to keep themselves alive.

I was afk for 5 years after playing almost only tanks and my resto shaman (very casually) I decided to make a comeback for the start of Shadowlands. I saw that mythic + was added. When I saw how they worked I lost a lot of confidence especially since everyone else was so experienced.
That’s when I made the decision to switch mains to resto shaman. IT FELT REALLY WEAK. but I persevered and stumbled along. I got my KSM but it was hard. I got better as I played but resto shaman has never really felt strong. Then we get bashed for not doing enough dps in m+ even tho we have to carry the slack that dps cause because of mistakes and healers are ALWAYS blamed. In season 2 we always lower our keys to 16s, we have decided that it’s not worth the stress. We don’t do many dungeons each week because of work commitments etc.

Blizzard devs are completely clueless about how to fix this god meta they've created. The dungeons are packed with mechanics, dispells and bleeds, and the meta classes are the only ones packed with the utility to mitigate them. Combined with them insisting on tanks an heals being garbage to play they've destroyed the keys for the average player. Which is a shame since gearing up new alts is quite fun with this upgrade system

I am not a healer main. I am a Warlock main.
I have never trusted healers to heal me. Call it paranoia, call it whatever you want. Very rarely I die to avoidable damage/mechanics I can dodge. In my experience, healer players still think Warlocks are this unkillable casters. We are not. In DF, we are as squishy as a mage but with no cheat death or mobility. Yes, we have ways to heal ourselves, but the way the damage works in DF this makes us as squishy as a mage. Our strength lied in the fact that we had soul leech and soul leech is not good against spikey damage. This means, warlocks need as much healing as anyone else and if you let a warlock stay at 20%, that warlock will die fast. Mortal Coil heal will not matter because the next tick of damage will make that healing disappear, dark pact gets eaten pretty quick, healthstone, same as MC. With this in mind, I just dont trust healers. I didnt trust them before DF, I did not trust healers in Legion either. So, I always have a health pot on top of everything else and I dont mind tanking my dps just to be alive. Something most warlocks dont do. They would rather die at 200k dps than to live doing 100k dps. In DF, for the first time in any expansion, everything I do is not enough to keep myself alive. Remember what I said above, healers dont hurry healing Warlock, its almost like they heal us with a face of disgust: "here, rat, some healing /spits on the face".
Anyway, I went off-topic to put it into context. Since m+ meta is fixed and leaves no other class a wiggle room anything above 20s is damn near impossible to get into. I wasted 2 days or 16 hours in total of playing m+ queue simulator. I dont get invited as a Warlock. So, I decided to play something that no matter what the role, it has a spec for it. I picked up monk and 3 weeks I reached 443ilvl. BRM is fun as it has always been, WW is not my jam but it is satisfying and fun to play. MW is...........pain. Only pain. There are mechanics that deny you healing the group. Since fistweaving requires you to be in meele and continuously doing dmg the moment a mechanic targets you to leave meele thats when you blink and your mana bar suddenly is 50% then 30% and then 10%. Healing in m+ is pain incarnate. It is not fun and I avoid healing. I have healed 18s keys, I have healed 19s key. I timed them, no one died because of lack of healing but it is pain to heal. It is not fun and I am sick of having a miniheart attack everytime a mechanic goes off. I have healed a little in each expansion and each season with one hybrid or another. DF is the worst expansion to play healer, easily. It is also the worst expansion to be a warlock for alot of reasons but one of the biggest ones I named above.
I used to love playing m+. Like I did my KSM and I kept playing because I loved running it. Now, it is the first time I retired my Warlock after doing all 20s, tyrannical and fortified, because of the meta and because of how healing and damage in-take works. I am sick and tired playing m+ queue simulator.
Thanks, Blizzard. You managed to ruin the fun.

I can't even think to push as Disc since I know It's quite impossible to find a decent group when you're not a meta spec, plus it's even harder to heal high keys as Disc in this season. So I switched to Hpal and found out the problem is not the class or the spec I'm playing. No matter how good you can be with a healer spec, if the content requires really specific classes that can provide what is needed while the other ones have nothing to offer then you know you won't be able to play what you want unless you don't care about competition. Then holy got their rework and for the first time in 3 weeks I was able to spam keys non stop.
As an hpal I'm having fun, and I think that it should be the same for the rest of the healers.
I think the problem comes from overlapping debuffs that need dispels, affixes that not everyone can deal with and a ton of damage that can't be dealt with unless you're perfect.
I wish they stopped nerfing healers and they just fixed those issues in the dungeons themselves. Buff every other healer, dungeons should be fun for everyone.

I tried HPal out recently just on a target dummy, and couldn't see how you could do decent DPS with it. Then I tried some group content, and realized that you get credit for the damage your blessings enable. Basically HPal has to use 2 GCDs per pull to more than take care of their DPS responsibilities, and can spend more time healing (and generating holy power) than any other spec by a huge margin. If you time your blessing of summer on a priest's power infusion target, and with an Aug Evoker in the group, your DPS numbers skyrocket from a single GCD. DPS is expected from every healer in M+, but Blizz has done absolutely nothing to balance the damage per GCD that healers do. It can easily take 25 GCDs for my (better geared) resto shammy to come close to the DPS my HPal does in 2 GCDs.

As keys go higher dps can't make timers anymore. As keys go up tanks cant survive anymore. As dungeons go up healers cant keep up anymore. Thats literally the point!! Why do i keep hearing healers complain that despite going up in keys they are struggling to heal...... thats the whole damn point. What exactly are you expecting? To be able to heal everything no matter how high the key goes and rely on dps and tanks? If healers gas out at a lower level than the dps and tanks then thats just the key ceiling this season. I stopped healing as well after almost 20 years. For me the reason being dps/tanks can be absolute d.... espescially after MDI/TGP. People see the meta classes and mock you for not playing one all the while not using their own personal cd's. Healed a 19FH last Monday on my pres evoker, the guardian druid just kept pulling way too big without pressing any type of cooldown. We didn't time the key and at the end he started flaming me for not dispelling oiled blade while I did, his uptime on iron fur was less than 2 minutes in a run that lasted 35 minutes. I've always mained healer and played non meta classes in many seasons but was always able to keep up now it's just not happening no matter how hard I try. I've run lower keys in the +2 to +13 range but even that is undoable most of the time. People roll mage,sp,guardian druid and whatever is meta without knowing how the class actually works and expect healers to pick up where they fail. It's a no thanks for me for this season.

Blizzard made pushing above +20's very painful for pug groups with no real strategy. Over 50,000 easily of each class in Mythics and only 2000-4000 timing above +20s from each class should tell you that 90% of people in pugs should NOT be attempting above 20's. If you guys want to reach 3k io and above you should be looking into making a strong 5 man comp to counter the affixes and massive damage. Of course you are going to have the "insane" people that spend hundreds of thousands of gold on consumables and fail 150-200 +21s and 22's just to make 3k but those people are not what I would call good players, more like (LAB RATS) in repetition mode.... if you run enough eventually you will make 3k io but the good players and formed groups had it done by week 4 or 5 and are now doing +25s or higher. Everyone just now making it to 3k over hundreds of attempts is more like INSANITY and you are not a good player... just a common LAB RAT. Also, if your DPS is not even 100k overall, then stay the fuck out of 21s and 22s. You are getting carried even with perfect play. Healers ain't got time for that kind of fail play. Also, if everyone of your timed +20s were done with only 90 seconds or less left on the timer, then the next level is going to be a ton of fails for you as a DPS. When you have 2 DPS pulling 140k+ Overall and the 3rd DPS is only pulling like 95k Overall and you fail the run by only a minute or 2... all 4 of you should know that the 3rd dps only pulling 95k Overall just cost you over 3 minutes being WEAK and reaching higher in keys than he/she should. When I design a pug group, each person is studied thoroughly.. I probably kick 30 people for everyone I accept or more. I am currently at 3k io and I have not ran a mythic key since week 5. When I stopped pushing I was 1st in realm. 2 months later without a single key ran I am still 5th in realm...you guys are just bad, over 90% of you should stop after timing 20's. "WE NEED BUFFS, WE NEED BUFFS" all these noobs crying and the Mythic Raid was beaten 2 months ago by people only 430-435 item level and teams timing +27s right now. You don't need buffs, you need to fucking learn how to play or go work on something else.

You’re essentially trading the potential dps of any other dps class for the dps “gain” from the buffs of the augvoker. Some would even argue utility is a factor, but my rebuttal is that there are plenty of classes who have similar if not better utility abilities as a dps roll. You’re absolutely right man. I have made dozens of comments on the official forums and youtube videos that healing needs to be less avoidable damage and more unavoidable damage - more like Shadowmoon Burial Grounds, but with the unavoidable damage ramped up. This would allow the developers to finely tune the incoming damage for each level of key and take out the variability. It would give healers plenty to heal, but things wouldn't be so life or death that healers stress themselves out. The problem that is always pointed out with this is that it removes the standard mode of failure: dying from damage. This would have to be addressed with changing the mode of failure to enrage timers, one shot mechanics, or other creative things. Although this is viewed as a "problem", in actuality, taking the point of failure away from a single player (the healer) and moving some of that responsibility onto other players would in fact be a good thing.
As far as quitting healing, I'm right there with you and have been for a long time now. I'm still subscribed, but I only log in to heal one dungeon per week on two characters and then I'm done. I am barely hanging on, just for the sake of staying current with gear. Here's the thing though: this healer problem was apparent from the beginning. It took them 2 1/2 months to fix the utterly broken resto shaman. Dungeons went on far too long without nerfs (Ruby Life Pools). All in the name of "collecting data before we make any knee-jerk changes". Everyone's bullshit meter should have been reading at full at that point. Many of us saw it for what it was that early on, and so it's no surprise that this has developed into what it has by now. Despite the constant advise that has been given on the forums, Blizzard has instead gone in the opposite direction, not listening to healers.
Another aspect to this is the attitude healers have to put up with both in game and on the forums. If you complain even a little, you will be lambasted by people flaming you. Many dps in season one would scream at you if they died to avoidable damage. Eventually, it wears on a person. Absolutely no one should be surprised at the healer shortage. The WoW community, along with the developers, have made their bed, so they can sleep in it now.

even before the 10.1.5 patch, it was hard to come by healers for pugging in m+ during season 2 but after the .5 patch its absolutely collapsed.
If we are lucky enough to come across a healer, we then cant even find dps to fill keys at the +21-22 level

I am playing around 3k+ as guardian druid (before people call me meta I played it to 3k io last season when they were F rank) and I think you touched on the biggest problem with the meta. I hate sitting in a group waiting for a specific spec to apply because we need them for a dungeon and looking at a ton of other high io classes apply but not be able to invite them because the key becomes 10x harder without the specific utility.
The dungeons and the best routes require specific utility such as mind soothe, mass dispel, and blessing of freedom as well as the dispels of diseased for BH. The extra survivability that augment gives is simply far too large for them not to be required in higher keys, if they were changed so that they only gave damage to the rest of the group it would fix things a bit but even then they give int to the healer so that they heal more. I don't see a way to fix it as the solution was to not design the game in a way that made these utilities, skips, and strategies so dependant on a single class ability.

I had to switch to Hpal to continue to enjoy healing this tier. I maintain Druid, Evoker & Disc Priest as well around 445 ilvl currently - and now hpal is being nerfed instead of the rest buffed it's just killed any of the motivation I had to continue healing this season so I'm rerolling the priest to Shadow & the evoker to Aug. neither of which are my preferred class. It's just healing is not enjoyable at ANY key level. Coupled with the fact that if you're not one of the 2 DPS, 1 Healer, 1 Support & 2 Tank combo that is meta, you're not getting in any keys above a 22 in less than an hour. Blizzard has really dropped the ball on ALL fronts of m+ this tier.

Holy priest main in the same key range, and I'd definitely agree that healing has been a bit wild this expansion. I do like the challenge, but its very apparent how much they've turned the knob to 11 in my opinion. I leveled and started playing a holy paladin and am doing the same keys my priest is doing but 10 ilvl lower... It really feels bad, and I've been getting very discouraged from m+, but I'm the only healer in my group of friends thats interested in pushing io as a healer, so I've pigeon holed myself a little. Trying to pug dps keys as a break and it's wild how much more laid back that role is even if you're looking to maximize your utility and help out the group. I don't think this direction should continue for healers personally, although i imagine it might too some extent for the rest of the expansion, maaybe the last season will be more relaxed

Hi! I started playing WoW about 3 months ago, I had touched it here and there but never got to max lvl. Well, I am running a preservation evoker (cause dragons are cool) loved everything to 70 and early 70, and was having a fun time. Then to get gear I started heroics, cool and fun lil spicy but not bad. Well then I tried to hop into mythic dungeons with friends and pubs. I watch videos about all the dragon flight dungeons to learn the mechanics, have heal bot, DBM, and I find it really hard to keep up with the difficulty curve. the first 10 or so lvls are challenging but I never felt like I was bad. I can do a heroic Abreus run, and be 1st or secon on healing but then wipe on an 11 myth+. Between people running all over the place out of my range, or pulling everything in sight all at once, I just can't seem to keep up. To me it just feels really unforgiving and difficult to learn. I don't enjoy dungeons, but very much enjoy raiding. My 2 cents.

This season hasn't been as fun, I have felt squishier and the healing throughput reduced. I have gravitated to tanking, even in open world as it is more fun at times, as well as looking into other classes - I don't like the play style of Priest or Evoker, but feel like they are something I have to do, to play the game. Thanks for the vid dude.

Regular average healer main and I gave up on healing. Too much stress and no fun to be doomed to be the weak link in every run. I work full time so I just can’t have a lvl70 of every class ready to blast off when the unbalance hits. Blizzard really messed up with 10.1.5 then made it even worse with nerfs instead of addressing healing shortcomings. It’s like they want healers to struggle but we can always choose to do other roles or simply not play.

I guess I got used to feeling like I had carry potential in keys, where my party would live as long as I pumped healing/used CDs properly. But now it feels like dungeons have damage bursts big enough that I actually CAN'T heal someone fast enough.
If they live its because they used a pot. If they die I gotta remind 'em to try save a defensive for that.

I don't give a fuck about meta and stuff like that. I just want to have fun with the class I'm playing with right now. And to be honest.. it's sometimes no longer fun from 17+ of the key level. Man I have to work like a fool, especially in pugs. With friends it's something else again, because they mostly use their CD's. Healers should all get a buff because the way it is currently there will soon be no more healers.

After 12 years of healing in wow, this is the first expansion I went DPS/tank main, and it has never been easier to reach the 3k mark.
Now, I struggle to reach 3k on my healer as the final alt of the season.
However, after healing the last month here, I do find the "hard healing" more engaging since you kind of matter in the key by making a difference, like if you compare to BFA or Shadowlands, where healing was so easy that you didn't need a healer, which proven by the fact that there were 20-25keys timed without healers. I wish they would introduce the healing fights and checks without it being a "Numbers hard" playstyle.
Also, after I played the Aug evoke, I felt like they missed an opportunity by not making healers do less damage in raid/group content and instead were able to cast specific buffs that would either increase your party damage, survival, or movability, which would introduce another aspect to being a supportive class in the party.

You're not being a big baby at all! I've basically made the same transition; from a prevoker that was having a hard time getting into pug 20s, to an augvoker who got all their portals in the first week of 10.1.5. The pressure drop was huge, the sense of relief that it's not going to kill the key if I lose focus for a moment is... giddying. Had an absolutely great couple of weeks just riding that rush and cramming every dungeon possible into my waking hours. I've only really played healers to any seriousness and I did not realise that other people actually get to relax and have fun. I thought everyone was on the edge of their seat all the time. Going to be hard to go back...
Problem is, I'm a terrible dps. Don't know why; if I knew, I wouldn't be terrible. But to have a support spec show up that benefits from knowledge of healing patterns in dungeons, that is absolutely the ideal thing for me. It's simple enough that I have time to mentally process the dungeon mechanics and do them properly instead of hoping that someone else picks them up because my brain is too busy. And it legit feels good to know I am lifting some of the pressure off another healer and making their life less of the stressful hell I had to endure at the start of the season. Having healers tell me that a dungeon felt 4 levels lower than they expected is really satisfying because I know exactly where they're at :)

I agree there are a couple of fixes - 1) Improve the normal rotation spells, so that if played to perfection cd's aren't needed, of coarse no one is absolutely perfect so cd's will still be useful but not mandatory like they are now 2) Boost the cd's, when a tank hits cd's they become nearly invincible, when a healer uses theirs the group can still easily die if mechanics are missed, I feel like the same god-mode given to tanks should be extended to healers for their biggest cd's giving them the ability to truly save a group

  • @mkuhnactual

I think everything you said here is pretty accurate, though I'd lie to add the toxic nature of the wow community as a whole to healers right now. I've noticed the tanks and dps seem to have no concept that healing is very stressful this season, and just expect you to deal with it and don't you dare complain. And if a heal check is missed because you literally can't heal enough while dumping your mana bar because the dps didnt use a dr, they jump on you and call you bad at the game.
I also find blizards argument that they want healers to heal more and want damage to be less spikey(and so nerfed healing power) to be disingenuous af. Damage profiles in m+ are spikier than they've ever done requiring more healing then ever without the power to pull it off(people have to use their defensives) Bricking a key as a healer because dps misused defensives feels awful and you can bet the blame is on the healer. And it's not even like we're expected to less other stuff since we have to heal more. We're still expected to pump damage, and we're still expected to mostly solo affixes.
All in all, I've never enjoyed the game less as a healer, having healed since TBC. I haven't even logged on in like a week and have been flirting with canceling my sub entirely. Healing is just too stressful for me to keep paying $15/month for the privilege.

  • @Escorducarla

I OS three different healers (pally, priest, shaman) and I can't say I blame you. Even with a very geared "meta" healer, some stuff is just BRUTAL. It's very easy to get underwater during a pull, and once that happens it's total struggle until either it dies or you do. If I wasn't playing with friends and guildmates, I'm not sure how much healing I'd actually be doing. This season has not struck the proper balance as it pertains to challenge as far as M+ healing.

    • @dahlianeko
      @dahlianeko Год назад

Its sad they are nerfing pally instead of buffing the others. I've done 3 KSM healers this season, rdruid/mw monk/hpal, and it's wild how much less stress you get with hpal cuz you have more in your kit to deal with stuff and the heals actually feel meaningful. I'm not doing super high keys(18s, trying to get to 20s), but it's almost worse at lower levels with off meta healers cuz often the dps literally do not care to help you out at all, so the weaker heals really feel worse.

I also feel like incorp and afflicted being tier 2 affixes and the way they're implemented harmed the mid level pug scene.
They should allow people to run up and click on them at least. Cleansing or cc'ing them. That way some people would have clear advantages on those affixes like entangling, but everyone could deal.

A misused cooldown and such should equal a lost key at 3000~ io and above. You’re the healer, you’re not supposed to misuse your cooldown.
