Dad, you have a great taste in music! Any chance you both react to “It’s a Miracle”? 😊

It's on the list yes 😎, but ya know takes awhile to get through all this great stuff 👍🏼

Their best track, in my opinion. Roy Hay's guitar riff rules.

This is one of my top two Culture Club songs. I was the hugest Culture Club nerd back in the day. In fact I still have every album and EP that they put out. I would suggest reacting to "Church of the poison mind" next. Get a taste of the fabulous Helen Terry singing with George.

I just love the dad here…I think we’re about the same age lol….so cool! I met George in 2015 and saw Culture Club in concert first time in 2016. PS: The Japanese people at the end of the video are saying, “The house is burning! The house is on fire!” The Culture Club album that came after this song was called “Waking Up With the House on Fire.”

Hey John what's up ✌🏼Always love chatting with culture club fans 😎 I love the band and George is just pure fun and a Fab artist!

@@reactionextraction Yeah I just related a lot to what you said (am I talking to Dad, or Ty?). Because I also remember seeing George on the Tonight Show - twice. The first time was in 1983 when Joan Rivers was guest hosting. I enjoyed that one, George and Joan had chemistry and truly liked each other. Then George came on again with Johnny Carson in late 1984, I think. But you could sense a bit of dislike between George and Carson, and the chemistry just wasn't there. I'm sure these interviews are somewhere on RUclips. I was too young to travel anywhere to see Culture Club in concert, so I didn't see them perform until 2016. Just in time too, because drummer Jon Moss left the band soon after that. I hung out at their hotel after the concert and Jon Moss was the nicest to me of everyone.

This is Quint (dad). So funny I watched George on the tonight show also, probably like 1984 with Carson and I remember him saying he saw curtains in a store window and thought hey that would make a great outfit, ha. Have u read his autobiography “Take it like a man” ? Some amazing stories in there. Wow he and John Moss had some crazy drama going on. I connected with many UK bands and culture club was always special. I finally got to see them in 2018 here in Dallas and it was a dream come true for me also 😎 Nice to chat with you John 🤟🏼

@@reactionextraction Cool! You probably saw both interviews too, because it was actually a bedspread (with huge numbers all over it) that he saw in a store window in Barcelona and he told Joan Rivers he "had to have it". And yes, Take it Like a Man is some amazing shit - I love how it pulls back the curtain and tells everything like it really was. I can pick that book up, open any page and just start re-reading it, it's fascinating. I'm in Winnipeg Manitoba (Canada). George came here to deejay at a club some years back. I Tweeted that day, "according to my phone, I have a 9pm 'appointment' with Boy George!" Then he tweeted back, "I know! Where were you?" LOL. Then he followed me on Twitter and I told him where to go for vegan organic snacks. He got lost on the bus though because my directions weren't good enough. I wish I had known, I could have given him a ride.

Wow you have great memory. That is a Rad story dude! You could have given him a ride totally. I gotta say I love Canada 😎😎 I lived in Seattle for awhile and would travel all over to places like Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, mainly to see the Dallas Stars play whoever. However I haven’t been to Winnipeg yet unfortunately. Gotta say Also I love 80’s Canadian bands much more than American by far. Glass Tiger, Cory Hart, Spoons, Loverboy, Eight Seconds, One to One, Bryan Adams!! Hey feel free to email us whenever at reactionextraction17@gmail … would love to chat some more and get a Canuck’s opinion on music ✌🏻✌🏻

Culture Club was one of the most anticipated music groups for me to watch on MTV during my teen years of the 1980s. 80s music is the only thing that brings me back to the best time of my life, the 1980s!

Funny, I was going to post about that awesome bridge! I saw an interview recently with (mind is going blank!) a big artist/songwriter who said that what’s missing from today’s pop songs is a bridge! It’s so true! I started paying attention after hearing that. Now I’m so thankful for them. 😎

Culture Club had such drama between George and John, but they were the most fun band out there back in the day 😎😎

Boy George is one of the many Artists who exploded in 1984.... that was a major year for artist that we now consider Icons.

    It's A Miracle, or perhaps,
    I'll Tumble 4 Ya
    Really enjoying your channel.

    P. S. The CC song that has always stuck in my head is “I’ll Tumble 4 Ya.” I’m sure that’s too catchy and cheesy for Ty’s taste! 🧀 I remember first hearing it on the car radio and not leaving the car until it was over. ❤️

Boy George released a duet with Kim Wilde a few months ago. I like both artists individually, but I'm not a fan of the song.
