Thanks for the great video. I own a d610 that cannot focus using viewfinder, can only focus in live view mode. Nikon is charging me half the price of the camera to fix that. how I wish you are in Singapore now to fix for me :(
What position should the shutter be in for re assembly? I have something timed wrong I think mirror goes up one shutter curtain is closed the other is open so I can’t see the sensor with the mirror stuck up … if I press the shutter button again the mirror will go down

That's a fine job. I'm squeamish to get the D610 second hand. I heard a lot of people complain about "ERR" message. In your experience how many d610s have you encountered with the "ERR" error message. And what's your opinion about build quality between Nikons and Canons. Which breaks more? Thank you.

Sir, I truly need your help. My D600 shows Err and the mirror won't lift up when pressing the shutter release (When lifting the mirror manually, I see that the shutter curtains do work. The aperture lever also reacts). Do you think it may be the mirror motor or perhaps the camera software (given that I tether it to pirate lightroom)? Any advice will be of GREAT help!
Sir question lang na hulog kasi ang nikon d810 ko nagana pa naman sya pero hindi na sya na focus, nakita ko po ang nag crack yung mirror box nya possible na na mapalitan ang mirror box ng d810. salamat sa pag sagot sir.
nkakabili sir nun s aliexpress kaso ang problem kapag pinalitan yon ililipat yon SENSOR ng focus at iaalign po yon mas okey kung marerepair po ang mirror box.
theres many reasons why err is appearing on screen..common problem is the shutter blade ,maybe the gear at the shutter assembly is you hear a noise when you pressing the shutter button..its also possible the apperture mech is error is appearing when lens attached and last the mirror box mechanism
@@techxian since I wrote this, I think I narrowed it down to the mirror box. The error appears with and without a lens, contacts have been cleaned. The aperture arm moves consistently, the shutter also works consistently... but the mirror doesn't, even when using M-UP mode :/

the common problem of the D610 is the shutter assembly and the mirror box...about canon is the common problem is the shutter assembly

maximum of two hours sir included disassemble,assemble and repair sir but if you replace it with brand new parts it only takes a 1 hour..

if there is no damage shutter blade..the possible problem is the mirror motor driving base plate engine...
How many volts were applied to the mirror motor for testing? I have a D5 that I need to test the mirror motor as well.

replace the mechanism of the mirror box assembly...
that part is mirror motor driving base plate driver engine..
