I used to use my millennium Falcon as my cobra mothership in 1983 and later. It was. great substitute and considering that Bobafett was always my stand in for Cobra commander since I didn't own one it worked really well. I also used my Xwing fighter in closed wing configuration with the guns removed as a Shark, my Snowspeeder which was missing the canopy was a water moccasin and the 2 legged ATST just seemed like something Cobra would have built. Oh and who didn't use the coffee table as the F.L.A.G.G and the couch as Cobra mountain?
I loved reusing other toy lines and mashing them together. Did anyone else use Airtight as their Flight suit Luke Skywalker? Their He man and various baddies as cobra monsters? Their old Tonka toys as GiJoe tanks, with home made Lego cannons taped to the surface? Man I had more fun setting things up than I did playing.

I Do Similar Mainly GI Joe Halo Genaric Military Figures And Some Star Wars Stuff But I Always Like Hearing Stories Of People Doing This In The 80s And 90s I Personally Love Aircraft And Naval Vessels So I'm Going To Build My Fleet Starting With Several Light Aircraft Carrier's And Once I Get a 3d Printer I'll Have a 3d Print Action Figure Ling On Etsy And Eventually After That I'll Have a Proper Action Figure Company.
I asked for the Cobra mountain to Santa and he brought me the He-Man snake mountain... Santa made a mistake! I still used used it for Gi joe but after that error I was very specific about the toys I wanted in my Santa letters

Never reading the later comics I had no idea the Mothership had a backstory. You should have done the presentation for the Super7 crowdfund you made me want one now!
I actually made most of it up based on military stats and expanding parts of the show and comic. I felt the mothership needed some history and a clear role. And I’m hoping these videos will excite everyone and get more folks to back the toy. It really want it to get made. Thanks for watching 🐍

I did make it and thank you. I wish I'd had more time to spend on it though. It was pretty rushed. It'd be nice to take some time and really go in and model the details and refine the overall shape, especially the head. Thanks for watching.
Better save the 3D for later. In the next 10 days, Super 7 will need to get more than double the preorders it has now to get it funded.
I tried ordering it using the PayPal pay in 4, but then they added $100 more in shipping on the back end and PP wouldn't allow so much more than the charge off initially was. Still trying...
Not sure what the idea was trying to fund it through the holiday season to begin with. Bad timing and too much product thrown at us.

Awesome episode! Yeah I’m sure everyone wants to get the cobra mothership however probably most people just can’t afford it because of inflation and scarcity of resources these days. Or they just don’t live in a big house with room for it……..I wish I could get one however I just cannot afford the cost of the space for one.

Very cool video! I like the ones with real-world references. Your mention of the C5 put the Mothership in perspective. As for Super 7's version, I would've backed the project if the ask was more like $295. $495 + $100 shipping + $75 for some extra o-ring Vipers + tax is a bit steep for me.

I'm Definitely Making One Of These As Soon As Possible Well Technically I Will Make a Vehicle Very Similar To This One In My Series I'm Building Maybe Make It a Soviet/Russian Super Weapon Or Something Like That I Wouldn't Make It To Different To The Original I'll Just Add a Couple Of CIWS Systems Specifically The AK-630 System For It's Compact Size Which Will Be Easy To Put On The Mothership As Well As Some Other Stuff But For Right Now I'm Working On Something Different But Great Video And I Hope You And You're Folks Are Doing Well.

No this is more compact and relies on vtol aircraft. Less vulnerable with no exposed fans or runways. Also more an assault transport. Thanks for watching 👍

True. My son would love a proper scale one tho. Making it playable would be tricky with the dual level in the middle. That would need a re design.
That not enough people to support all of the aircraft and armor. You’re looking at 200 people just to support just the rattlers.
A modern carrier air wing is around 1500 personnel and 80ish aircraft. That’s around 18 personnel per plane. So 6 rattlers would require around 100 personnel. Plus it’s cobra and they’ve shown many automated efficiencies over the years potentially reducing that number even more. Thanks for watching 👍

Compare a true full scale to Super 7 on cpt diagram. Super 7 appears really too small-
Super 7 definitely had to scale theirs in the same way Kenner scaled the millenium falcon to make it a toy. But did you see the end of the video and the model that Christopher George is working on? It's 9 feet long! Thanks for watching.

@@ActionRobotPunch I think a miniature version should be made to actual size- like the thumbnail. Like the Star Wars miniature series now. Should not be an issue doing a true miniature scale- true carrying capacity of troopers and vehicles would be cool.
