wow, another dream project that comes true, congrats bro! I like this a lot, great vision of a 2000 gi Joe vehicle. + this vamp version ages quite well in this naked state. I m nostalgic about the ol vamp, but in practicality, this is much better. it s safe to say, the old was scaled to match the mobat... which was too small and did nt scale 3' people. also, looking back, this was sorely needed as a transport unit. just thinking of the thunderbird 2 concept, it promises a lot! just imagine doing that in 83... dropping munitions, supplies, a Doc module, containers for Mc Guffins... that s what I d see with that key unit for a modern tactical elite force. make it E - 4 type class or something, to know who can pilot those. I was not sure about cutting the tail... but the end result looks good. ouh, that s so amazing to be able to 3d print parts to allow such proficiency and detail. the figs look quite nicely fitted, squeezed a bit like the old days. surely better than the firebat, this one I remember, and the asps... one of my favourite to date from you, and that s saying. hopefully, you ll push further with this project! good work bro.
I've been wanting to buy this wicked vehicle bc it reminds me of Aliens drop ship. Dude I bet the dragonfly's cockpit double row seating would work. Looks to be angled similarly.
I bought it for just that reason. 1:18 scale dropship. I know I tried the seats from a Rattler but not a dragonfly. That might work. Thanks for watching.
@@ActionRobotPunch It's deserved. You should get some 1:18 Jazzwares Halo Marines to go with this - they look VERY "Colonial Marines"- to the point where I customized a bunch and have them fighting Hiya Xenomorphs!
@@ActionRobotPunch honestly, I grew up having the 1982-1985 style of swivel arm figures however I do enjoy this scale to be honest. I do have a lot of black series and marvel legends but I remember 3 3/4 scale.
Would have been interesting to see the button on top worked so that when pressed it would push the vehicle away from the magnetic plate breaking the connection and quick releasing the vehicle
You're right. Maybe I'll go back and revisit the mechanism. I really just replaced the the cargo box that came with the toy but I think there was some type of secondary release. I did this mod a while ago, so I'll need to look again. Maybe worth a second follow up video :)
Great work. Can you show how to disassemble and reassemble the ship? I have now taken mine apart and can't get it back together. Either that or include an adress i can send this worthless pile of plastic to. I am really close to just smashing it all with a hammer. Thanks.
I'm busy right now but when I get time I should be able to dig up the files and print a few to put up in my etsy store. Link in the description. Thanks for the interest.
Bueftiful, and shows if they kept the line true to the origunal, no scifi, it would gave statied as long as the sumpsons. We wouls gave biught anything like this. F the toy co's, they r ruining toys.
The Pelican can't even fit a warthog inside. And it has almost no armament. The Aliens dropship is stacked with weapons, can hold the "tank", not just a jeep (warthog), internally and it was the inspiration for the Pelican. Sorry but the Pelican is great but not the greatest. Thanks for watching.
Awesome. You should 3d print doors for the Tomahawk.
Thanks Jeff. That would be a fun project.
That Dragonhawk is a big bad cool toy. The Sigma 6 was definitely a cool line when it came to its vehicles and the figures that had joints lol
Thanks for checking it out.
These are amazing customs. I want to make a bunch of what you have made for my own collection
Thank you so much, Adam. I really appreciate it.
This is awesome, I can definitely see the Joes using something like this to deploy Vamps and AWE strikers quickly
Glad you like it! Thanks.

Thanks deep dive!

@ActionRobotPunch my pleasure, again great video & channel. I found the AMAZING Aliens drop ship designed by/in Legos lol. It's pretty gnarly.
I am stunned you were able to keep the tandem two seater config! Your 3d parts came out perfect
Yeah I really wanted to keep the two seater cockpit. Thank you.
Thank you so much, I'm glad you gave the details, Action you are Great 💯
Glad you like it 👍
would be nice to see more of it
Thanks. There are a few videos here that feature the DragonHawk in action. Thanks for watching.
Great custom
Thanks so much.
Awesome job!
Thanks so much.
Outstanding! 🎉🎉🎉

Thank you, Drake.
SO freakin' AWESOME!! Great work man!
Thank you so much.
Good job 👏
Thanks so much.
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!
@@ActionRobotPunch 100!!
i love it man. very nice.
Thanks so much!
Hell of a job on this! Turned out amazing.
I want to make one for the Jazzwares Warthog...though that would require widening the skids, I think.
Thank you so much.

Cool project! You kinda sound like George Clooney
Thank you and thanks for watching. 👍
Great videos
Thank you 👍
great work
Thank you so much!
Great work! You inspired me to build something similar.
That's awesome to hear. Good luck with the project and thanks for watching.
All it needs is a little button you can press for a voice to go "in the pipe, five by five"
That would be awesome!
This is awesome. Have you thought of doing a troop transport pod like in the beginning of the video?
Definitely. I just need to finish up all the other things I'm working on. Never enough time. Thanks for watching.
@@ActionRobotPunch I’m also interested in how you made the tail. I’d love to see a reel or something on it. Definitely makes it look more robust.
Hell yeah, 💯😎🍷
Thanks James :)

Little bummed you didn’t keep or do a more classic take on the shark mouth
Oh you’re right! I’ll have to add that. Thanks for the feedback.
@@ActionRobotPunch yeah maby in a red or a more classic joe color with a ww2 style to it over the modern of the sigma 6
Awesome
Thanks 👍
Cool!
Show 👏👏👏👏
🐲🦅
Are you going to be selling the stl files on your esty site for this modification? Because ut is fealing AWESOME! 😎
That’s a good idea. I’ll add it to the files I’m adding. 👍
Haot damn thats good

Oh man, I only opened up the front part. You should be able to see in the video. I hope that can help. I imagine the center part is pretty complex.
Where do you get the extra G.I. Joe stickers?
toyhax.com as well as old stickers that I have laying around. I also make some of my own with my printer.
@@ActionRobotPunch awesome, thank you!
Is there any way I could buy those same 3d printed parts from the wings shortener to the vamp holder i can pay your price if u could make one for me

We need a cobra drop ship
Someone should make one. I do love my Cobra chinook. So versatile.
😎👍

(regular) Sigma 6 figures have weird jibs
The only ones I have are the ones that came with this set. I just stick to the originals figs mostly.

I have to edit above, mad bad spelling, sorry.
The dropship from Aliens was ok, but the Halo Pelican from Reach and Halo 2 was way better.
