Whenever someone says that all the live-action disney remakes suck, I make a point of bringing up Cinderella. That film takes the stigma towards kindness and emotional strength with feminism and does a great showing on why they are definitely compatible with each other.
Cruella is so good, I went to see it the other day in the cinema, Iwould put it in the top three if not no. 1!! the soundtrack costumes, and overall the plot is just genius
Yeah I loved Cruella too. I agree with everything you said. I thought Emma Stone was fantastic, and I thought she did a great job of making her sympathetic while also staying true to the character of Cruella de Vil.
@@Triangulum1414 I’m glad to hear that. If you don’t mind me asking, where would you put Cruella on your ranking of the Disney remakes that you’ve seen.
I still think Cinderella is the greatest Disney remake of all time. It was beautiful, well casted and the costumes were magnificent which still remains one of the biggest Oscar snubs in history. Cate Blanchett was pitch perfect as the stepmother. She deserves an Academy Award for her performance.
Cinderella and Cruella are my favorite live action Disney remakes. Both of them are not only favorite Disney live action movies but they both are two of my favorite movies ever
@@rubygracemoseley8144 I have been thinking about watching Cruella. If you consider it to be your favorite Disney remake then I might watch it. But yeah. Cinderella is just beautiful.
Cate Blanchett as Lady Tremaine was also my favorite part of the Cinderella remake so much so that I think Cate Blanchett deserves the Luke Evans treatment since Luke Evans is not only going to be reprising his role as Gaston but he's also going to play the Coachman
On Aladdin, why did they show Jasmine when they said "Not every character shined..."? Her performance was much better than Aladdin's--the weakest link, and with the extra backstory for her, it felt like it should have been called Jasmine instead.
YES!!! I preferred Jasmine's performance in the live action vs the animated. Jasmine is less bratty and spoiled and more of a strong woman leader who won't go Speechless! Thus she got her own female power ballad!
Jasmine’s rewrite definitely helped her stake in the story matter more. I’d say the weakest link was Jafar, he just never sold me as an intimidating and sinister villain like the original did a good job at. Mena Massoud was fine as Aladdin, he pretty much played the part the way it was written. A safe method that can either make or break the role
I haven't seen a bunch of these. But the ones I have seen ranked from worst to best: 10:Lion king 9: Mulan 8:Beauty and the beast 7: Dumbo 6: Christopher Robin 5: Maleficent 4: 101 Dalmatians 3: Cruella 2: Aladdin 1: Cinderella
I agree and Ewan looks like his inner child came out playing the role and he really looks like he got lost in the opportunity to let his inner child out
I’ve seen many in the past say that Cinderella was one of the weaker live action movies but I disagree. It hits close to home while being able to stand separate from the original
I cannot agree with this list with Aladdin so low. I genuinely think it's top 3. It did the best job of balancing the nostalgia of the original, while also feeling modern with its own style. Also, the way they updated Jasmine while still having it stay true to her character from the original was brilliant. It's how most of these remakes should be done in my opinion.
In my mind it's a bit lower since it broke too many things 1. Iago isn't a character anymore 2. Jafar's actor did a terrible job at least in my opinion 3. All of the other actors just feel kinda meh.
@@matthewhedrichjr.5445I kinda dig how the concept of not all the parents were good people was introduced in both 1 & 2 and sometimes villains weren't just evil for the sake of it
Yeah the Jungle Book is easily the best remake but here are some problems I have 1. You cannot convince me that the Mulan remake is better than the Beauty and the Beast remake especially since Luke Evans as Gaston was an amazing casting choice and was such a great villain that Luke Evans as Gaston is getting another shot with an entire TV show. 2. The Aladdin remake should be lower. The reason why is because 1. The entire cast with the exception of Frank Welker and Will Smith ( and even then Disney had problems with Will Smith to) are either mediocre or straight up bad examples of the former are Alladin himself, Jasmine, the Sultan, and the randoms, but the absolute worst offenders are Iago and Jafar since Iago is just a background character who is unmemorable and Jafar suffered from bad casting seriously I can come up with 5 actors who would have been better in less than 2 minutes Naveen Andrews Jonathan Freeman Cary Tagawa Ben Kingsley And the actor who portrays Jafar in Once Upon a Time.
Agree that “Aladdin” (2019) needs to be lower. You can tell when they keep trying to rip off Robin Williams’ fast-paced humor when Will Smith is the Genie; when Will is not blue, he has moments where he is more like classic Will Smith
@@sgsmusic983 are you asking me this as a question or are you telling me that you share my opinion. If it's the former well I already saw the order of the list so as a result that's why I mentioned those things in particular.
Putting Beauty and the Beast so low was criminally offensive! But then again, whoever made this list put The Jungle Book as number 1. I've tried watching that movie 3 times, but never managed to get past the first 5 minutes. Movies that put their entire weight/cast in CGI just don't work.
They're redoing Little Mermaid. Hopefully they'll flesh out Ursula's backstory a bit. I think all we know about her is that she used to be in the palace but was banished. There's gotta be an interesting story there somewhere...
@@blancarosales3400 I love Melissa Mc Carthy, she's really great, I don't pretend to know all her movies, but all the ones I saw I love them, she's really enjoyable to watch
Not really. It's pretty mediocre compared to the original, and doesn't have any of its charm. It doesn't really do anything different and just copy and pastes the cartoon. Also, Emma Watson doesn't really understand Belle, and basically just plays herself instead of the character of Belle.
@@janhavi1977 disagree it gave more backstory for beast, has a whole character arc for Lefou and corrected some errors from the animated version like the timeline of ten years making the prince an eleven year old when the sorcerer came and ms port that already shows tip from the start. Though I admit the magic teleportation book was weird.
@@thecangaroo also Luke Evans killed it as Gaston so much so that Disney can't get enough of him seriously he's reprising his role as Gaston and he's also going to play ANOTHER Disney villain that being the Coachman.
@@chadpeterson5698 true ! When Inevitably Disney makes a backstory for Gaston like they did with Cruella and Maleficent they should get Luke Evans to star in it. Josh Gad as Lefou was also great I thought they were a great Duo.
Aladdin is great! Beauty and the beast on the other hand... would have to disagree. Emma Watson is an awful actress with limited facial expression. She is overrated because of her looks and the fact that she was hermione in Harry potter
Beauty and the beast was good in general, but the singing talent from the original were outstanding. Watson is a fantastic actor, but normal singer. Aladdins charakter in the new version was not as good as the original, but therefore Jasmine nailed it.
1. Beauty and the Beast 2. Cinderella 3. Alice In Wonderland 4. Cruella 5. 101 Dalmatians 6. 2016’s Jungle Book 7. Dumbo 8. Christopher Robin 9. Lady and the Tramp 10. Maleficent 11. Aladdin 12. The Jungle Book 13. Pete’s Dragon 14. Mulan 15. The Lion King 16. Sorcerer’s Apprentice

The live action movies that I love the best are Cinderella, Beauty and the beast, and 101 Dalmatians. Cinderella made everything gorgeous especially when it came to the dress transformation. Beauty and the beast was amazing, there are a few parts that were not from the original but they made the songs and best moments just right. 101 Dalmatians with Glen Close is is no question. Her acting as one of the best disney villains of all time made this movie timeless.
“Jungle Book” 2016 is easily the best of the remake thanks to following more of the darker elements from the books. Always had a soft spot for the ‘96 “101 Dalmatians” & I like that the dogs don’t speak since their expressions and behavior all say what dialogue doesn’t need to do. Even 2015’s “Cinderella” is a decent remake
I would dare to say that remake has a different meaning for some of those movies. Beauty and the Beast was literally a remake, just with little changes, but it was the same story., similar with Aladdin and the Lion King, with some minor changes, just like adding characters. But Cruella is a back story, not a remake. Cinderella is my favorite, but it is very different from the 1950 version. Maleficent is an alternative version - they changed the whole story, at least for me it was way too much. (it was a good idea in the beginning, but I didn't like the dark fantasy spectacle destroying innocent faity tale magic)
So happy to see "Pete's Dragon" made the top 5. I've loved the original almost my whole life and the remake was amazing. Also loved "The Jungle Book" remake as well. The Oscar-winning effects are still incredible 5 years later.
1) First 101 Dalmatians (1996) 2) Cinderella (2015) 3) Aladdin (2019) 4) Maleficent (2014) 5) The Jungle Book (2016) 6) Beauty and The Beast (2017) 7) The Lion King (2019) 8) Dumbo (2018) 9) Mulan (2020) 10) Christopher Robin (2018)
I very much loved Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Jungle Book, Cinderella, Cruella, The Lion King, Maleficent, Pinocchio and Christopher Robin
I mostly agree with your ranking lists but this time close to nothing seemed right with me. Number 1 was one of the worse ones in my opinion and a few lower ones were better than you make them present. Beauty and the Bast wasnt the best one but a good one for example. It fixed plotholes and mistakes compared to the original which you didnt even include in the ranking. And you seem kind of unstable with waht is good and what is bad. You say sticking close toe the scource is bad but new inventions is also bad. So which one does influence your ranking more? Mulan was also not that great in my eyes cause in the animated version it was one of the funnier films ant the live action did the complete opposite even it is was beautiful.
Does anybody else agree that maleficent and Cruella are the two only Disney female villains to get a live action film from their perspective as Heroines Rather Than Bad Guys?!
Putting "Alice in wonderland" (2010) and "Beauty and the beast" (2017) so far in the ranking and "Cruella" (2021) so high, this ranking is a joke. "Aladdin" does deserve to be in the top 1, it was the Will Smith show. The rest of top 10 nooooo
If there’s some Disney movies that deserves remakes it would have to be: 1. Atlantis: the lost empire 2. The black cauldron 3. the legend of sleepy hollow 4. A mulan “spin-off” starring Mushu 5. Treasure Planet 6. The wind in the willows
I'm not going to reorder it, but here's my take: 16. The Sorcerer's Apprentice - Loved it, but totally get why it's ranked so low. It would have been better served as an original movie. 15. The Jungle Book (1994) - Didn't see it. 14. Dumbo - Absolutely loved it, but hated the PC ending. Yeah. Dump some tame elephants out into the wild. Brilliant idea. /endsarcasm 13. The Lion King - I could have done without the passage of the "scent"...if you know what I mean. Otherwise, I thought it was wonderful. 12. Beauty & the Beast - They seriously needed someone else (like someone who actually had a pulse) to play Belle. 11. Mulan - It's interesting that a reason you ranked this low was the very reason I loved it: the lack of Eddie "One-Note" Murphy. 10. Alice In Wonderland - I would best call this an acquired taste. 9. Christopher Robin - Man...just the one clip that was shown caused my eyes to fill. Absolute perfection. 8. Aladdin - Two things: "Speechless" and "Hot Jafar" (just try to watch this with 2 teenage girls!) 7. Lady and the Tramp - Didn't see it, but desperately want to. 6. 101 Dalmatians - Glenn Close is one of my all-time favorite actresses. This was SO much fun! 5. Cruella - Didn't see it, but want to. 4. Pete's Dragon - I have an emotional connection with the original (my little brother, who died in 1994, was named Peter & LOVED the movie), but can't help but feel that my brother would have enjoyed this one, too. 3. Maleficent - Definitely enjoyable. We watched the 2nd one yesterday. 2. Cinderella - I fell in love with the dress & stayed for the rest. 1. The Jungle Book (2016) - All 4 of us went to see this. My husband watched with a chip on his shoulder & left with a bounce in his step.
My list 1. Cruella-This movie is perfection imo, Cruella has always been my favorite character and I have a passion for fashion, revenge and complex stories so this was just amazing for me 2. Cinderella-The story stayed the same and you can recognize the charcters but they have WAY more depth and it improves the overall story and doesn’t feel dated anymore. 3. Meleficent-It has it‘s flaws but it’s great, I loved her story and while Aurora was a very forgettable princess, the movie getting a different perspective was all it needed for me.
My List: 1. Beauty and the Beast (Beauty and the Beast is my favorite story of all time. Maybe it’s just my friend group but this movie is maybe better than original) 2. Cruella (THIS MOVIE CHANGED MY LIFE IN A VERY GOOD WAY AS U CAN TELL BY MY NAME) 3. Maleficent (ANGELINA JOLIE ANGELINA JOLIE ANGELINA JOLIE) 4. Christopher Robin (Better than I expected ngl. Also SO FCKN CUTEE) 5. Aladdin (Worse than animated, but it wasn’t terrible 🤷♂️ ALSO SPEECHLESS 👏👏👏👏) 6. The Jungle Book (Wasn’t bad but the top 4 were to me life changing and Speechless might be one of my favorite Disney songs of ALL TIME) 7. Alice in Wonderland (okay ig) 8. The Lion King (Be Prepared loses it for me) 9. Cinderella (Okay hear me out…) 10. Mulan (MUSIC? MUSHU??) 11. Dumbo (This movie just straight up sucked, I fell asleep lol) Haven’t seen: The Sorcerer’s Apprentice The Jungle Book (1994) Lady and the Tramp 101 Dalmations (1996, sorry Glenn Close 🥺) Pete’s Dragon (I think I saw it- just don’t remember lol)
Title character in Cruella (herself AKA Estella) is played by Emma Stone. In the earlier Live Action version of 101 dalmatians She is played by Glenn Close.
16 -You’re right, I didn’t know that. I found it entertaining and funny 15 -Never seen it, sorry 14 -I liked it and I love the ending 13 -I love it! One, a list cast and two, great image. I’m happy I have it on DVD 12 -My favorite Disney Movie of All Time. Couldn’t believe Hermione and Magneto is in this movie, loved it more 11 -I love the original more but I do like it they made her a badass. Also, the lady that introduces Mulan is Ming-Na Wen 10 -I like it. Only thing I love about it is that Avril Lavigne sings a song 9 -May not be like the original but it touched my heart and it was the first time I saw my dad cry during a Disney movie 8 -Took my breath away! 7 -I think it’s cute. May not be like the original but I liked it and those are real dogs, by the way. Not lying 6 -I love 101 Dalmatians! Even met Glenn Close, she’s nice 5 -Emma Stone became a girl on fire as Cruella de Vil, it’s a favorite 4 -I didn’t see the original 3 -Angelina Jolie is perfect as the Mistress of Evil. Also, I don’t know why they made the fairies dumb 2 -Felt magical, love it! 1 -Love it. Vibrant and irresistible. Bill Murray is hilarious as Baloo
I absolutely loved Cruella too. I thought it was one of the better Disney live action remakes. If you don’t mind me asking, where did you put it on your ranking?
@@Doryplory Cruella is my second favorite too, with my personal favorite is The Jungle Book. I don’t mean to be disrespectful to your opinion, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of Maleficent. I don’t hate it, but I just didn’t think it was that great.
This I what live action dreamworks films be like: Shrek: good potential but a little unsure about the CGI for shrek Madagascar: they probably wouldn't have the animals walking up right Kung Fu Panda: we're not ready for live action anthropomorphic films yet How To Train Your Dragon: basically Braveheart and Jurassic Park combined
Aladdin is my personal favorite out of every Disney remake done so far 👍 The lion king is probably my lease which is crazy because the original lion king is in my top 5 favorite Disney films.
@@diduii4507 I mean no disrespect to the actors and actresses because they acted well but I don't like the plot of the movie. Maleficent is evil and I missed that in the remake. She didn't feel evil at any point and I was disappointed.
@@alanacalello2340 oh of course, simply because she wasn't evil, as she said at the end of the movie she is not a villain, but she also isn't an hero. But i get your point
I liked to see Cinderella in second place. I loved her live action movie. It was beautiful and perfect. Aladdin I love it as well. The songs, the performances, everything. I think that he should be a little higher on that list. Beauty and The Beast was exaclty like the animated movie, which I thinks that is one of the reasons that was good. The Lion King I don’t know why people didn’t like it. Had the songs, the romance and the sad scenes. I liked that movie and I don’t get it why a lot of people didn’t like it. Cruella is excepcional. Maleficent is brilliant and amazing. Loved to see a movie where the villain is the main character. Mulan I hated. They remove all of the things that made Mulan a brilliant movie. Mushu, Li Shang and even Mulan’s grandma not being the movie, ruined the whole thing. And that scene in the animated movie where all the China bends over to Mulan for saving them, in the end, was speechless. And I HATED that Disney removed that.
I think Cruella is the best remake as far as the villains are considered. It should be ranked higher. The fact she doesn’t have a redeeming/misunderstood story arc and just wants revenge for her mother is great. And it leaves the door open for a compelling sequel
I agree, I was hoping to be in the top three with 101 dalmatians since glen close did a fantastic job as cruella. I get emma is the new cruella but I dont think she cant beat Glen close
Having Danny, Michael, and tim work together again since batman returns was great. It wasnt I was hoping for but I like tim burton's work, he even made the pink elephants pretty creepy which worked, but it would have been nice to actually watched the film from original script to see how it would have been.
@@cooperwolfe5478 that's a tough one to but I think I would have to say Alice because it was more accurate then dumbo since it went along with the storyline, with dumbo it didnt really, I mean even in the classic dumbo the main focus was on the animals then humans were where as with Alice all the characters talked
@@Cinderella72291 That’s an interesting point. It was hard for me too, because I have such a nostalgic feeling towards Alice in Wonderland, but honestly I liked Dumbo more. I don’t have any truly great reasoning as to why I feel this way, but one of my reasons is that I liked the cast in Dumbo more than the cast in Alice in Wonderland. I liked both casts don’t get me wrong, but I felt that in the case of Alice, it sometimes felt like Johnny Depp was sometimes carrying the movie. I thought that in the case of Dumbo it didn’t feel like any one actor was stealing the show. My only other reason and I know I’m nitpicking, but I never liked how in Alice Wonderland was called Underland. I know that there is some connection to the Lewis Carroll stories, but I thought that they should have just left it as Wonderland given that it’s in the title of the movie.
Disney did Maleficent wrong, the backstory was great and I love it but the whole idea of her saving Aurora felt out of character. A full backstory movie of Maleficent, ending with the christening of Aurora and setting up a Sleeping Beauty remake for the sequel feels like a better plan. We love Disney villains (except for Hans), we don't need a redemption arc.
I thought I was the only one to feel this way! She’s one of (if not THE) most iconic Disney villains and they made her good... plus the fairies making the cake and the dress was always my favorite scene and they turned them into annoying useless characters... We’re all entitled to our own opinions, so those who liked it, I’m so glad! Angelina was AMAZING. I just didn’t enjoy the movie at all
@@TinyPinkTink The fairies downgrade was awful specially considering they are actually the main characters in the original (Aurora doesn't have a single line after she is told she's a princess, they rescue Phillip and enchant the sword that kills Maleficent). I agree that Angelina was amazing but I just don't like the movie after she curses Aurora.
I don’t know how that would work if it did have a sequel but the 1959 classic bombed. Without 2019’s Maleficent Mistress of Evil, we wouldn’t see Aurora and Philip’s wedding
Beauty and the Beast deserved a higher ranking in my opinion one the best true to the original remakes they have ever produced yet. And Emma's singing chops surprised many of us
I loved Aladdin. I actually thought the music was better in the live-action remake. Ok, please just hear me out. If you listen to the music in the live-action remake and then listen to the music in the original, the music in the live-action sounds much stronger and you can tell the orchestra is just much more into what they are doing! They sounded like they were having a blast! Don't get me wrong, the original is great! However, there are just some things I think the live-action adaptation did better.

As Cinderella is an overused fairytale, I dont really like it that much. So Im not too excited when the live action came out. Years later I watched it just to pass time and my, I was blown away by it. Everything was done so beautifully. It feels magical and I always get teary eyed specially the ball scene.
It’s not a Disney film but I highly recommend Mowgli . the Netflix film based on the the jungle book I say has more darker tone than the Disney version and has a good all star cast with Christian Bale , Andy Serkis , Naomi Harris , Cate Blanchett .
My tops are 1. Cinderella 2. Aladdin 3. Alice in Wonderland Have your opinions about Aladdin, but this movie will forever hold a special place in my heart, as I saw it with a friend who has since passed away. He loved the song “Speechless” so much that he was downloading it as we left the theater, and I told him during the movie that his smile was almost identical to Aladdin’s. I loved Will Smith as the Genie, though Robin Williams is irreplaceable, I agree that he made the role his own and wasn’t trying to replace/copy Robin. Beauty and the Beast I would have at #2 if Emma Watson could sing (her acting is fine!), Gaston and LeFou were the best parts! Cinderella I actually like better than the animated one!
I can relate to Aladdin holding a special place in your heart because of your friend. My best friend also passed away, but before it came out so he never actually got to see it, but we were so excited about it and couldn’t wait to watch it together.
I was looking for this comment! You are SO right
It is one of the better ones, but I dislike that Jasmine lost her seductive charm + they removed iconic kiss between her & Jafar
yesss.. I agree
Agree it’s one of the best live action adaptation
In my mind it's a bit lower since it broke too many things
1. Iago isn't a character anymore
2. Jafar's actor did a terrible job at least in my opinion
3. All of the other actors just feel kinda meh.
Maleficent will always be one of Disney's greatest live-action remakes. Although Cruella was also really good as they went more into her backstory.
I consider it the worst.
I loved both maleficent and Cinderella remakes.
@@NessaEllenesse for ruining King Stefan and the fairies that is. Am I right?!
@@matthewhedrichjr.5445I kinda dig how the concept of not all the parents were good people was introduced in both 1 & 2 and sometimes villains weren't just evil for the sake of it
Yeah the Jungle Book is easily the best remake but here are some problems I have
The reason why is because
1. The entire cast with the exception of Frank Welker and Will Smith ( and even then Disney had problems with Will Smith to) are either mediocre or straight up bad examples of the former are Alladin himself, Jasmine, the Sultan, and the randoms, but the absolute worst offenders are Iago and Jafar since Iago is just a background character who is unmemorable and Jafar suffered from bad casting seriously I can come up with 5 actors who would have been better in less than 2 minutes
Naveen Andrews
Jonathan Freeman
Cary Tagawa
Ben Kingsley
And the actor who portrays Jafar in Once Upon a Time.
Mulan should definitely be lower. They literally took the best character out of the movie.
Agree that “Aladdin” (2019) needs to be lower. You can tell when they keep trying to rip off Robin Williams’ fast-paced humor when Will Smith is the Genie; when Will is not blue, he has moments where he is more like classic Will Smith
I agree with your first point, there is no way Mulan is better than Beauty and the Beast!
Came here to say this
@@sgsmusic983 are you asking me this as a question or are you telling me that you share my opinion.
Uh Mowgli is non CGI so yeah. Also the animals are very lifelike if you want non convincing CGI go to the Netflix Jungle Book directed by Andy Serkis.
The Jungle Book is disneys best live action deal with it 😎
I cannot believe how low on the list Aladdin is! 😱😱 My older sister would be crying at how low it is
My favorite by far is Cruella, the acting and story line was FABULOUS!
I love to see an Ursula live-action film
YES! A prequel as her origin story explaining why she got exiled and how she became the villainess we know and love
They're redoing Little Mermaid. Hopefully they'll flesh out Ursula's backstory a bit. I think all we know about her is that she used to be in the palace but was banished. There's gotta be an interesting story there somewhere...
Ursula is portrayed by Melissa Mc Carthy that is why I want to see the Little Mermaid live action
@@blancarosales3400 I love Melissa Mc Carthy, she's really great, I don't pretend to know all her movies, but all the ones I saw I love them, she's really enjoyable to watch

Beauty and the Beast deserved to be higher on the list it is soooo good!
@@chadpeterson5698 true ! When Inevitably Disney makes a backstory for Gaston like they did with Cruella and Maleficent they should get Luke Evans to star in it. Josh Gad as Lefou was also great I thought they were a great Duo.
points off for sticking to the original...? well, it is a remake....personally, Beauty and the Beast was too low. That and Aladdin are my favorite
same!
Aladdin is great! Beauty and the beast on the other hand... would have to disagree. Emma Watson is an awful actress with limited facial expression. She is overrated because of her looks and the fact that she was hermione in Harry potter
Beauty and the beast and Aladdin belong to my favourite movies in general. Can't believe they are ranked so low.
I can agree with Beauty and the Beast, not so much with Aladdin since Jafar's actor in the remake kinda broke the movie for me.
I agree with this
Beauty and the beast was good in general, but the singing talent from the original were outstanding. Watson is a fantastic actor, but normal singer.
Aladdins charakter in the new version was not as good as the original, but therefore Jasmine nailed it.

Beauty and the Beast way below Pete's Dragon??? Go home you're drunk
Yeah especially since Luke Evans and Josh Gad were AMAZING in their respective roles.

Super agree

I wish the actor of Jafar done a better job by yelling and being angry more (example: telling Genie to grant his second wish)
He should have done a better job at the evil laugh. Jafar's evil laugh is classic.
Can’t complain
Or better yet Disney should have gotten a different actor.
Jafar's Genie form was my biggest disappointment from that movie too.
I hated his performance.
Why is beauty and the beast at a a low number?
I agree that Beauty and the Beast should be higher especially since Luke Evans
If there’s some Disney movies that deserves remakes it would have to be:

I'm not going to reorder it, but here's my take:
/endsarcasm
8. Aladdin - Two things: "Speechless" and "Hot Jafar" (just try to watch this with 2 teenage girls!)

My favorites are 1. Cruella 2. Cinderella 3. Aladdin 4. Maleficent 5. Pete’s Dragon

I did too!!! Beautiful movie!
I agree with others Aladdin should be higher. At least top 3 if not number one.
No.

I don’t know how that would work if it did have a sequel but the 1959 classic bombed. Without 2019’s Maleficent Mistress of Evil, we wouldn’t see Aurora and Philip’s wedding

My favorites are Cinderella, The Jungle Book, and Pete’s Dragon. I also think Alice in Wonderland is underrated.
I can't be alone in thinking the sorcerer's apprentice is better than at least a handful of the movies placed ahead of it.
101 Dalmations, Cinderella (2015), Maleficent, and Beauty and the Beast are my favs
Beauty and The Beast is my favorite live action remake
Same one of my personal favorite Disney remakes at number 2
My tops are
1. Cinderella
2. Aladdin
3. Alice in Wonderland
Have your opinions about Aladdin, but this movie will forever hold a special place in my heart, as I saw it with a friend who has since passed away.
And he also reminded me of Aladdin :) I’m sorry about your friend and hope you’re ok ❤️
@@s-nih you are so sweet! I’m sorry about your friend as well 💚🙏🏻. My friend passed away in November of 2019, we just celebrated what would have been his 29th birthday last week, and it was a day full of joyful memories. I hope you are able to do the same on those days that are hard 💚🙏🏻
@@TinyPinkTink that's lovely, I think it's so nice to celebrate their life and reminisce over the fond memories :') thank you as well ❤❤
The remakes that I love the most is The Lion King, Aladdin, and The Jungle Book (2016).
Exactly like people be hating for no w
Reason
I love the 🦁👑 remake.
@@kingkid9388 it's because nostalgia for the original movies well that and some of the remakes do have some genuine problems
I’m sorry but Cinderella is the number 1 not the jungle book.
Of course Naomi Scott did a brilliant job, but I actually liked the animated Jasmine better.
I agree that the animated version was better in fact in my mind EVERYTHING was better in the original ESPECIALLY Jafar.
Cruella was soo good, I was pleasantly surprised ❤ Emma Stone was amazing, but Glen Close was really solid too in 101 Dalmatians.
My top 8 favorites of the Reimagined Disney films are: The Jungle Book 2016, The Lion King 2019, Aladdin 2019, Beauty and the Beast 2017, Cinderella 2015, Maleficent 2014, and Lady and the Tramp 2019.
