"Thomas and Lincoln Get Tricked: Part 1" This story takes place during the first ever and first series premiere episode, Thomas and Gordon. Thomas is a tank engine who lives at a big station on the Island of Sodor. He's a cheeky little engine with six small wheels, a short stumpy funnel, a short stumpy boiler, and a short stumpy dome. He also has five best friends who help him with his life on the railway. One of them was Lincoln Loud. He was the only boy in the Loud Family who has white hair, and who had ten sisters. The other two were a girl and a monkey who were an adventurous duo. There was Boots, a cheeky but fun-loving monkey known for his red boots. And there was Dora Márquez. Or known by her famous name from most people, Dora the Explorer, who was friends to many. And then, there was his VERY special friend, Dorothy Gale. She was a girl originally from a farm on Kansas, but became princess of Emerald City in the Land of Oz. She had two passions, her Ruby Slippers and her dog, Toto. Even though they were different, they felt like their friendship was the same.
Thomas and his allies work at the big station known as Knapford Station, located on the west side of Sodor. Knapford was one of the biggest stations on the railway. It was the start of the Main Line, which ran all the way to Vicarstown. Thomas is an LBSCR E2 Class tank engine, and the only one of his kind on the railway. He's a fussy one, too. He and his friends were always bringing coaches for the big engines to take on long journeys. Lincoln, Dorothy, Toto, Dora and Boots were kind-hearted and helpful. So is Thomas, despite being cheeky sometimes, he's always well-meaning. And when trains come in, he pulls the empty coaches away so that the big engines can go and rest. The main passenger coaches were in dark green and cream-colours. And they were mostly used for the Main Line.
Thomas and Lincoln think no engine works as hard as they do. They love playing tricks on them. Including Gordon, a blue LNER Gresley A1 Pacific, who was the NWR number four's biggest and proudest engine of all. And like Thomas, he also has a helper that guides him throughout the days. Her name was Lori Loud. She was the eldest out of Lincoln's ten sisters who has four passions; Being in charge, golfing, her phone and of course, his boyfriend, Bobby Santiago, who she affectionately calls him "Boo-Boo Bear". Thomas likes whistling rudely at him, and Lincoln likes scaring his sister with Noisy Star, one of the Explorer Stars. And Thomas would say cheeky comments like... THOMAS: (first lines) Wake up, Lazybones! Why don't you work hard like me? And he and his friends like a good laugh. Normally Gordon and Lori took Thomas and his buddies' jokes in their stride, but one day, the blue tank engine and his buddies went too far. One of Gordon's main jobs was pulling the Wild Nor' Wester, which was commonly known as "The Express". One day, after taking said passenger train, they had arrived back at the sidings very tired. "Ah, alone at last," sighed Lori, contentedly. Gordon was just going to sleep, and Lori was about to resume texting, when Thomas and his buddies came up in their cheeky ways. Noisy Star honked loudly, while Thomas whistled loudly. "Wake up, Lazybones!" he whistled. "Do some hard work for a change. You can't catch me!" "Or us!" teased Boots. "For someone who's the eldest sister of Lincoln," Dorothy joked. "You're literally lazy." And he and his buddies ran off laughing.
At last, Gordon and Lori could stand it no more. "That's literally the last straw," snarled Lori. "All we want is some peace and quiet, but Lincoln and his noisy friends keep giving us rude awakenings. It's high-time we teach them a lesson." Instead of going to sleep again and resume texting her boyfriend, Lori and Gordon thought how they could get back at Thomas and Lincoln. But they didn't know how yet. North of Tidmouth Station, was a special roundhouse called Tidmouth Sheds. They were the main engine sheds on the railway. They had six berths where engines sleep at night, and wake up in the morning. But today, Thomas was having trouble with his wakeups. He wouldn't wake up. His Driver and Fireman couldn't make him start. His fire went out and there was not enough steam. "Come on, sleepy-wheels!" Dorothy urged. "We're gonna be late!" "And you know how Lori is when it comes to lateness," quipped Lincoln. It was nearly time for the Express. People were waiting, but the coaches weren't ready. At last, Thomas started, and sleepily staggered onto the station. "Oh dear, oh dear," he yawned. "Must get going! Must get going!"
They fussed into Knapford Station where Gordon and Lori were waiting, to which they were making things more difficult. "Hurry up, you!" huffed Gordon, huffily. "We literally don't have all day, you know!" rapped Lori. "Sorry, Lori," Lincoln started. "But we..." "Save us the excuses," came the bossy reply. "Hurry up!" "Hurry up, yourself!" reproached Thomas. "Yeah!" Lincoln snapped back. "We can't wait with dawdling express engines and idling phone-texters like YOU two." And they took the coaches to the platform. Gordon and Lori were offended by their words, but took it in their stride, and started making their plan. "Hmm, yes," rumbled Gordon. "I will." "We'll see who are the dawdlers," Lori said, quietly. "You want US to hurry up? Then, we shall." And almost before the coaches had stopped moving, Gordon reversed quickly and Lori coupled him to the train. "Get in quickly, please!" whistled the big blue engine. "The Wild Nor' Wester will be departing shortly!" called Lori. Like most station pilots, Thomas usually pushed behind the big trains to help them start. But he was always uncoupled first. But this time, Gordon and Lori started so quickly, that there was no time to uncouple Thomas and his friends. Gordon and Lori's chance had come, and...
