This was a good story. Duke really was having trouble with the scouts. A shame the scout master didn't ask for help when he needed to. But what a good idea for Duke to help out in two good ways :) .
Duke... you've just taught me how to handle troublesome children. Those children's unlikely nature will never suit his grace, but in the end their new and improvement ways will.
Brilliant episode. Duke really fits as the main character to help the scout leader on how to make the children behave when they were all being cumbersome reminiscent of his days with Sir Handel and Peter Sam. He really makes a good scout leader. Also I can relate to him and the other engines when it comes to kids these days because even now they can be disobedient either by bratty behavior or incompetent parents trying to make them do things they didn't want to do.

It was really good to see Duke taking centre stage in this episode.
Been a while since Duke starred in a story. Very nice. Good to see Duke and the Scout Leader solve the problem diplomatically.
Duke was the perfect character for leadership advice like this. I give this a 10/10
5:15 "Kid these days."
Couldn't agree more!
Well I was expecting someone to get a real scolding, but it turns out that they were turned around well by Duke and the Scout Master!
Incredible as usual and that Duke you can learn from him, he maybe old but he still has lots of wisdom his grace would be proud.
Fantastic story! It was really cool to see Duke as a main character!

Excellent work
As a former Scout myself, I really like this story. Duke is certainly a true Scouts leader of the Narrow-Gauge Engines.
Great episode! I loved Gordon and dukes banter
This was marvelous :)
Just got home from work and this is just wjat i needed
Once again brilliant episode.
neat
Reminds me of my recent DofE Silver exhibition I did last Monday
Stanley????
I thought that he's a standard gauge engine.
HOW would he cover for Duke if he's not even the correct gauge??????
